Yesterday helped out with this Rotary thing. It was freezing and rainy. My mum pointed out my lips had gone blue when I got in. :lol:
Can't be bothered to do anything today...I have work but not a major amount and I don't know why our Biology teacher is making us research genetic diseases now when the coursework is due in February. I do like this module though its interesting so far. We did some experiment with DNA last lesson.
We spent over a year doing our biology A2 coursework Kasple. Started straight after AS exams and didn't hand it in until the deadline the following May. I didn't mind as we spent an hour of most lessons going over coursework, which was better than doing an extra hour of work. I hated that subject at A2.
Woahh...This coursework is only a leaflet worth 10 marks though. The major one is 26 marks on building a bioreactor and testing it. We also have a chemistry one worth 26 marks. Nice of them to make them both due in on the same day. :rolleyes: They are April ones though I think.
Start your research now then you won't have a shedload of work to do when it comes to writing them up. I made the mistake of leaving my 2000 word assignment until the night before it was due in, I hadn't even looked through the reading list as to what I should be writing about. Big mistake and one stress I could have done without.
I think I'm going to tidy my room and put my clothes away after I've got dressed. Feeling in a productive mood today :D

I have spent the last hour hunting for Postcodes. Christmas Card time of year again. Watched telly most of yesterday, and tidied up.
Just off to Manchester in a bit, well after ten so i can get a cheaper rail fare! to go and work in the Library. THink im in the mood for a bit of christmas shopping and then revision, i need to start it at some point.
Ughh this cold is bugging me.
Todays been alright.
Didn't do alot school wise, had to finish an essay in my first RE class, but in the second class last lesson our teacher brought in muffins and stuff and we had Christmas music and hot chocolate and sorted out the Christmas concert for Friday. It was fun :)
Me and a friend had a bit of a barmy. I'm trying desperately to sort out what me and my friends are doing for Christmas, in the end we were all up for Secret Santa, so we went in at dinner and told this girl it was her idea in the first place) then she started ranting on about having no money and all that. She has a job. I know she has her family and boyfriend to buy for, but so dot he rest of us.. well I don't have a boyfriend to buy for but my family is huge, I'm paying out for 9 people yet I'm still trying to make something nice work for our friends...and I don't even have a job! I'm fed up of trying to organise stuff and having it thrown back in my face. :(
Aww, Kirsty, I hope you make up again soon, she is probably stressed out and reacted the way she did.
Had a good night out in the pub last night :D Ended up staying at my mates, sot that was good too, but totally knackered now! Was awkward walking into the pub, the fit manager from my old job was in there.. and I was just like.. Hi *blush blush*. :lol: He's way too hot!
Got my secret santa gift given to me today :D My mate got me Il Divo's album :D Was so chuffed when I opened it, was not expecting it haha!! Haven't given mine out yet though.
Oh and :rotfl: sorry Abbie :D. I blame Kirsty and Kath. They totally egged me on ;-).

We've actually sorted Christmas now. Aprt fomr.. the 2 girls who couldn't be bothered to ahve any input ahve had final say. Ace. Gr. I'm not bothering anymore, they can shove it where the sun don't shine for all I care :)
Right well tbh im fair peed off at someone at school today. She goes oh i've got your present with me and she goes ive taken the tags of cos it had the price on it and then i opened it when i got home and its her jacket that she said is too big for her :S i just opened and was like? tbh i think its dead cheeky giving something second hand and claiming that youve actually bought it and the reason im annoyed is because she knows ive spent £17 on her present and fair enough its not about money but dyano what i mean? id rahter not get anything than have something that shes just wrapped up and not thought about.
And i know that it sounds really unappreciative (sp?) but I always try and put loads of thought into christmas presents 'cause I like to think other people do the same if you get me.
And now reading this back I feel like I sound really cheeky but she did it last year as well and gave me and my other friend a teddy that was from her bed and some half used perfume and its not like she skint or anything because she gets £100 a month for working as a waitress and if she was i'd tell her not to get me anything and save the money for family and stuff.
Anyways. Rant over. I sound ungrateful now so im going!! :lol:

Well she said to me if it doesn't fit tell me and i'll change it so i've text her and told her it's too big, which it is. :lol:

Somewhat miffed, to put it mildly. OH not making it back in time for our flight on Wednesday morning. Don't know what to do, go ahead and drive back to the airport the next day to pick him up or re-book my flight as well. :searchme: Wish he had not accepted this assignment, he knew he might not make it back in time. :angry:
I'm so fed up at the moment.
Feel like my family's just going to burst, and in a way i'm toeing the line with my dad which i wouldn't normally do cause he can be scary!
My mum feel's like she's smothering me and i know it's cause she loves and care's for me but i've had it ever since i got burnt when i was 9 and a half months old an i've just spoken to her about it and as perusual she got her own way.
Basically i was ment to be helping out at the chirstmas concert tomorrow evening at school. Start's about 7 and i don't know what time, but now i can't go cause my mum's on day shift and she has to know i'm home before she can go to sleep.
Plus i have a cold and feel so choaked up it's unbelivable. Just want to go to bed and curl up and sleep forever

I got a B in Economics!! For completely messing up Section B which is worth the most marks, I am SO happy! 12/12 on one of the questions, I can't believe it. I spent nowhere near enough time on that one. Ran out of time on the last question.. it showed lol 11/25. I have an evaluation to get started on now; spent too long laughing in Business.
Second hand Christmas presents; tell me about it. I think it was last year that I had a second hand bottle of body spray that wasn't even a brand name from one of my closest friends. Considering she's just got my friend a brand new Sarah Jessica Parker one for her birthday, it's now more ridiculous. The second hand one she gave me she even left the top off of; how much more obvious can you get?
Had to rebook my holiday flight because OH does not get back in time tomorrow, so we now have to get up at 2 am (some of you will still be chatting in the shoutbox :) ) on Thursday to go to the airport. Change of tickets cost me an extra £320 which OH' company is supposedly going to pay. I certainly hope so because this has now gone right up to my credit limit as I have already booked next summer's holiday flights because they get too expensive.
One day less holiday, but I shall survive. Just waiting for confirmation that the car hire is sorted as we are changing airports in Spain too. :)

I have been a good girl and been in the library for a bit, but decided come and work at home, watched some telly and thats about it.
Oh been practicing my cornet for when i platy the christmas carols at mams school on friday don't want to make a hash of it. oh and also thrown up as had to feed the cat and its food has one awful smell.
Kim, second hand christmas presents are the worst.. my friend got me a book, haven't opened it yet but I know it is an autobiography of some famous person cause she asked me to read it after her.. Last year she gave me a diary and pen set but you could clearly see it was second hand as it was all grubby like it was opened, and then put back in the box
I am just getting annoyed now at work cause nobody is listen to me.. I keep telling them stuff and then 2 hours later they still don't get it and I repeat myself but they don't listen at all.. :angry:

Another Economics test today... questions were so random.
Christmas presents :( I gave my friend a £16 thing from the body shop and a pack of chocolate coins. She gave me one of those £1 tiny boxes of Celebrations and a tiny bag of non-brand name body stuff. If it was much smaller I would need a magnifying glass! She can't have spent more than about £3 on me! It wasn't even wrapped! :angry: Wish I'd taken hers in tomorrow now, then I would've at least kept the chocolate coins.
Present from another friend is tiny. I didn't get her as much as I've only known her since I started 6th form but I bet I've still spent about 3 times as much on her as she has on me.
Dog has to go to the vet at 6 :(
Kim, did you not agree on a budget before you bought presents? Not everybody has the money to spend £16 on each person. Be grateful for what you've got, there are millions of people in the world who won't get anything this year.
Done some revising today. I underestimated the amount of work I have to do in less than three weeks. What a fun Christmas break this is going to be :D
Going to a christmas bash at the pub on Thursday night. Will be an early one as the pub closes at 1am. Might end up at 'Spoons or somewhere that's open until later. No way I'm coming home after a night out at 1am :nono:
