Well for once I am lost for words after watching that superb episode of Emmerdale. Fantastic acting and writing.
I liked the way they showed Marlon reliving Tricia's death along side Sam's current dilema. I'm glad that he decided to help Sam in the end.
The emotion between Sam/Alice when she was begging him to end her suffering was very powerful and superbly acted. You could see that Alice had no fight left in her, she just didn't have the strength anymore, all she wanted was for her pain and suffering to end.
The scene where Marlon was sat on the bench thinking about Tricia and looking to the heavens was perfectly timed with Sam/Alice sat outside at the Dingle's also looking up at the sky during Alice's final moments.
Alice's final scene back in the house with Sam/Samson where Sam ended Alice's suffering was very heart touching. Sam's final scene of the episode put the whole tradgey into perspective - He was looking up at a bird flying freely in the sky, Alice had finally been set free, she was no longer in pain, no longer suffering, she was at peace at last....
I agree with every word so very moving and brilliantly acted by all.Quote:

Another brilliant episode Tuesday. I think with Zak it's a case of his nose being outof joint as Sam didn't go to him but instead went to Marlon and Eli. Zak likes to be in control of things and obviously doesn't agree with what Sam has done. His reason I believe isn't because he doesn't agree with ending someone's suffering but his concern for Sam, obviously he doesn't want him to got to prison for "murder" , also he is probably concerned about Samson losing both parents.
The problem with Sam is he can't keep secrets or lie he has to tell the truth.
Things have slowed down a bit in the Dales for the moment but you can tell that things are still building up and simmering in the back ground.
Poor Cain I felt sorry for him when the Dingles rejected him when he went up to the farm to see if there was anything he could do for Sam. We really are seeing a different side to Cain these days.
Sam silly boy he just can't help himself now Ashley suspects and has a dilema.
Edna and Sandy very funny scene in her house where both were in night Wear espec as Edna still had her hat on:lol: Another well matched pair who would work well together. Really nice to see Edna involved in things more these days.
Another nice partnership is that of Sandy and Jasmine, she needs someone like Sandy to help her in her time of need.
Eli at the moment I feel the same way about him as I do Scott:sick:
Still excellent viewing.
I just want to agree with the comments about this weeks emmerdale, I couldn't stop crying, you really believed it was true, great acting especially from Alice, she actually looked like she was dying too.............well done I hope when the tv awards comes around they win!!!!
After watching a close friend lose his fight against the same as Alice, she definitely played the part a blinder. If awards aren't given to them this year for those storylines, something is definitely wrong!Quote:

Emmerdale is so well acted at the moment. Do you think that new doctor woman is going to be a regular character.
Toni just wants Paddy because someone else has him. She doesn't like the fact that Paddy is no longer interested in her and is focusing his attention on someone else, Del. Also because Toni no longer has Ivan, who has gone off with Simon to Costa Rica, she is trying to muscle in on Del/Paddy, she just likes attention.
Paddy/Del were made for one another.
Toni is an O.K character I think that she is just meant to be a village fluzzy.
Sam is handling Alice's death amazingly well, I thought he would go to pot. The reason why he is coping so well I think is because he knows he did the right thing in ending Alice's suffering as this is what she wanted, also he has a baby to look after who keeps him occupied, plus he probably feels close to Alice when he's with the baby. Alice has brought Sam's inner strength to the surface, she taught him how to be strong.
Last nights emmedale was realy good. Val really makes me laugh. Toni is being such a brat, im not to keen on her character at all. I really feel sorry for Debbie as shes trying to help the rest of the dingles and they wont let her.
Val carrying Noreen around and putting her at the breakfast table:lol:
Also liked the scene in the house when Eric made some comment and the picture fell off the wall followed by Val speaking to "Noreen" givng the impression that Noreen was showing her disapproval:lol:
Poor Del/Paddy they just couldn't get five minutes alone together could they?
Debbie I didn't really feel sorry for as she is betraying Jasmine just to get back at Cain again. Again Jasmine is being used and caught up in their feud which has now spiraled well out of control.
I felt sorry for Cain last night when he was sat in the Woollie with Sadie looking preoccupied. Loved his comment to Sadie where she asked what was wrong and Cain turned round and said as if I would tell you. At first thought it might be Alice's death that was worrying him, but then I thought no I think it's the fact the Jasmine maybe Pregnant and he was preoccupied with the thought of being a dad again. Having the chance maybe to do things right this time..
I know it was terrible. Lets just hope that ugly Daggert slapper doesnt get her evil claws into him. Whens Emily coming back any???Quote:

Get rid of Toni!
If Emily returns then that is bound to cause a dilema for poor Paddy. Stick with Del!
and Richie:lol:
I know Paddy has to stay with Del there too good together and i hate Toni. Hmm, Whats sadie up to.
Oh dear Paddy has really gone and done it now by uttering that fluzzy Toni's name whilst he was in bed with Del:nono: Really glad he rejected Toni though:)
Poor Cain we really are seeing a much softer side to his character I really feel for him right now. He just wants to be a good dad and could be given the chance. Sadie is up to her tricks again, being all sympathetic and caring with Cain one minute and the next betraying him by giving Jasmine money for an abortion, much to the delight of Debbie.
Kelly is becoming more annoying and falser by the episode, just like her boobs:lol: Notice how they keep being emphasied by being pushed up over all her tops, you can tell she's had a job done.
So I take it Roders is in the doodah and Kelly has spent all his cash, bet she'll run as soon as she finds out he isn't rich anymore.
Val still commical with Eric and I liked her toast to Noreen, straight to the point there!
Still a bit quiet in the Dales but things are simmering away nicely:)
OMG it was so sad, how can Martin do that i used to like his charcter, i have realy gone off him, i mean it was the dingles time to lay Alice tro rest. Ashley should have kept his mouth shut with out blabbing, I mean if Diane wasnt so nosy then we would of had a nice peaceful funeral what Alice wanted. Mid you this whole mess is from what Alice wanted.
Thought it was so funny whjen the health spa thing had planning permission rejected. Whoever thougth of pairing up Val and Pollard is an absolute genious, I love it.
Martin is a complete waste of space. Apart from the fact his so called evidence would be hearsay
i hadnt thought of it like that there is no actually evedence well there will be as we all know he did it, surely he has to explain he heard the local vicar gossiping to the barmaid otherwise he doesnt have any proof and the doctor said there was nothing suspicious. I wiss hed dissappear along with the stupid character of his daughtrer.
An overheard conversation would not be admissable evidence in any court. I agree with you though I just wish he and his saddo daughter would just disappear in his Panda car, He wont be so smart when he discovers his bed partner murdered Ray Mullan:nono:Quote:

Just exactly what did his car do to him:lol: should of given that b"""" Sadie that kicking instead.
Ashley is turning into a big mouth, thought that vicars were suppose to be "discreet" as in confidentiality of the church.
Jasmine had just had an abortion so how comes she could walk around easily like that and take the kind of shove Cain gave her, which caused her to fall to the ground without any pain? In most cases people are in bed for at least a day afterwards.
Aww Sandy is a sweatheart, giving Jasmine a kiss and cuddle when she needed it the most whilst Laurel, Ashley etc were laying into her.
Debbie hope that she gets it on with evil Scott and he breaks her heart to bits:angry:
Martin pointless and he shouldn't of been eaves dropping.
"Beware those who eaves drop you may live to regret it...."
Still good viewing.
Poor Sam i know what he did was wrong but i can see why he did it. Emmerdale is the best soap by far at present. The Dingles really know how to do a funeral was it all Alice's wishes to way the funeral is carried out?
It was really good tonight how Cain was let back in the home. He was brave doing that with Samson. Belle made me laugh when she said "do you want me to scream" and cain saifd maybe later. I love the Dingles. I think the funeral was jsut how Alice wanted it.
Looks like another fantstic episode last night and can't wait to see it. Emmerdale really is producing some wonderful and emotinally charged storylines with brilliant acting to compliment them.
I agree the Dingles really know how to do a funeral. Poor Sam he really was fighting back the tears, trying to keep things exactly how Alice wanted them along with the rest of the Dingles and Guests. Everything was going along nicely, until wham along comes that Insensitive B/d Martin with his size 9s and ruins everything, causing more distress and Sam to almost break down completely. I loved the way everyone gathered round the coffin to "protect" Alice and stop her from being taken from them, albeit unsuccessful in the end. Exactly what evidence has THAT Martin got, a blabber mouth Vicar breaking a confidentiality, who did have a choice when Martin confronted him. Vicars are suppose to maintain confidentiality just as Doctors, Police etc have to. Martin has been told by the Doctor that as far as she was concerned there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding Alice's death, so in my opinion he had no right what so ever to barge in on Alice's funeral like that, pure disrespect. I just loved the way Zak tore that piece of paper up that Martin gave him.
Scott has to go, please someone give him the needle, oh wait Zoe did but he survived:angry: Damn!
More fantastic viewing to come and there is one in particular I am looking very much forward too over the coming week:D :D
Another emotional and gripping episode of Emmerdale Wednesday, it really has me gripped and looking forward to the next episode.
Absolutely loving Cain right now espec with Zak. Again we have family loyalty and trauma, family who no matter what stick together. Emmerdale really knows how to do family drama and keep it interesting.
At the end of the day although Zak is head of the family, Cain is the strength, he is the one they truly need in a crisis. He really showed that b/d Martin the other night, also his humour just slots into things nicely:
Marlon: "This isn't real. It isn't happening"
Cain: "Do you want me to smack you, so you can see if it's real or not"
(Happened something along those line):rotfl:
Cain acts like he couldn't careless when he gets chucked outof the family, but at the end of the day he does, family means everything to him, the other night proved this. Cain had the chance to just walk away and leave them to it but instead he chose to stand along side them and fight.
The Dingles/Kings to me are alike with regards to their family, loyalty is everything, no matter what they stick together.
Well said Ashley: " I betrayed a confidence. What kind of man of god does that make me." (Answer: A bad one)
Nice to see Louise getting a slap in the face so to speak and good ole Daine right on form, giving Martin hell (Well like she said as much as she was able)
Martin couldn't help listening in on Ashley/Diane's conversation???? What so he just accidentally stuck his ear to the door and listened in, instead of minding his business???
What goes around comes around:p :p
An excellent episode of Emmerdale tonight. Emmerdale is my number 1 soap at the moment.
Some brilliant scenes with the Dingles and the police. I don't like Martin though....not after what he said to Sam as he left his cell, how could he make Sam feel guilty like that?!
Cain showed that he had a heart when he took the blame for Alice's death, good on Cain for showing his caring side!
I hope Ashley and Sandy bury the hatchet soon.
Overall 10/10. :)
Again Emmerdale has been brilliant this week, acting, writing, storylines.
Lots of emotion, family loyalty and good quality family drama.
Cain as I have said I absolutely adore right now, the way he has stood by his family and the emotional scene between Cain/Sam the other night when Sam was telling Cain exactly what he had done, unfortunately the moment was rudely interrupted by the cops. This was a very rare moment between the two brothers.
My heart went out once again to Cain when he told the Dingle clan that he was going to dob himself in as he is the only one no one would miss, that little pause and the look on his face said it all, he so wanted someone to say they would. Later, however, it was shown that the Dingles do care about him when Lisa told Cain that he didn't have to give himself in, that little smile on his face he was so pleased.
Shadarach right on form
" You can stick that megaphone where the sun doesn't shine. We're talking":rotfl:
He is just so casual and laid back. A wonderful character who deosn't have any individual stroylines as such but contributes greatly to the soap.
I liked the way all the Dingles one by one said they "killed" Alice (Although I thought this may be something which happened later) with Shadarach's final admission of guilt.
Belle marvellous and I just loved the way she was laying into that horrible copper much to Cain's delght. She is a true Dingle!
Aww that final scene with baby Samson looking on as they were all arrested.:(
Chas on form also with the timing of her comments and I have to admit I did like:
"You lot are always stabbing each other in the back when your not your doing one anothers wives" Carl's face was a real picture.
So we now know why Ashley has "Betrayed" Sam all because he is hung up on the past and is unable to come to terms with the fact that Sandy "Killed" his mother and he joined the church as a result, full of hatred for his father. Um...
Ashley has broken a lot of the golden rules of the church which I feel he should pay the consequences for. The way he laid into Sandy the other night knocking him to the floor was well out of order and not the expected behaviour of a man of the church.
Good ole Betty taking Sandy under her wing, her house should be an interesting one now, with Sandy, Alan and Steph all under her roof!
Final episode of the week superb.
Zak/Cain very moving espec when he told Cain that he was prouder of him than any of the rest.
Loved Cain's humour and the way he made sure that everyone kept to what was agreed.
Marlon is a wuss. Martin is a b/d and he was really wicked to Sam when he was released but Sam had the last laugh and wiped that smug grin right off his face:
"Hope that Lass of yours never gets what Alice had"
Humouress moments for me:
"Shut your neck or I'll tell them you did it" (Cain to Shadrach):rotfl:
"I'll take you to the court of human rights if you don't let me use a carsey" (Shadrach):rotfl:
Lisa: "He's not fussy"
And finally I liked the way Cain said through the corner of his mouth to Wuss Marlon:
"Nice one" that wiped the grin off his face as his "Vendetor" against Cain backfired:lol:
Absolutely Brilliant at the moment with brilliant acting and fantastic humour all combined nicely together. Very well written scripts and the writers are just brilliant. Very well done.
What more can I add. Absolutely fantastic set of episodes this week in Emmerdale. Great acting by Sam and surprising action by Cain who showed he has a heart after all. Oh how I hate that smarmy copper Martin. Hes living with a murderer and doesnt know it .................................................. .................................................. ................................. YET!!!!!!!!
Watch out for the vases:moonie:

I agree Sam (James) is doing a fantastic job and so is Cain (Jeff) oh how I will miss him, both characters have grown and really shined lately.
why oh why are they bringing this Ray stuff up again.
Because Skippys Defective Sergeant lover Moron Martin needs his wings clipped after grassing up the Dingles guvQuote:

She could have said that she knew that Ray was a criminal but she didn't report him or something...oh Louise what have you done!
I have a feeling that Sadie gave the Dingles the £10,000....:hmm:
Overall 8/10. :)
It was the money she earnt from Lethal Weapon 2, way back when I believe. She had it stored in a bank account with the old TSB.Quote:

I liked the way they ran Louise's confession along side Cain's hearing as it showed us two different death scenarios. One was an act of humanity where another human ended the suffering of another and an innocent man being arrested and tried for it, the other being a case of self defense where another human was not suffering nor did they only have days or weeks to live and the "crime" going unpunished. Martin didn't act on Louise's confession because he loved her and didn't want to put her through the "trauma" of arrest, trial etc, and Sam ended Alice's suffering out of love, whereas Martin inflicted more pain by acting on something he had overheard and therefore putting the "family" through further distress with an innocent man being punished for it. Yep that really is being a good copper.
However, Martin has lost the person he loves because of it all and Louise has lost the person she loves also, this for me is an even better form of justice as both parties are heartbroken and in pain.
Why on earth is Diane apologising to Louise for what has happened? Matin is the one at fault for eaves dropping and demanding the truth from Louise.
Sadie still an evil B**** paying Cain's bail money so that he can help her fleece the Kings.
Nice funeral where Alice was finally laid to rest and a lovely shot of Cain with his arm around Sam's shoulder, comforting his brother in his time of need. Then he was back to his old self in the scene with Sadie.
Ashley serves him right and I don't blame Sam for not wanting him to do Alice's funeral afterall this is all his fault.
So overall so far this week a lot of well deserved punishment has been dealt out, apart from Cain going down for Alice's death.
Love the new friendship between sandy/Betty and now that Alan is back I think there is bound to be fireworks!
Bob really needs to sit down and talk to Viv, before it is too late...
Emmerdale is still going from strength to strength.
A good episode last night..i can't believe Louise is telling everyone that it's Diane's fault that her murdering Ray got revealed to Martin, Diane only mentioned Ray's name, she didn't actually tell Martin that Louise killed Ray, Louise did that herself...i would have thought that Louise would have let Jack have her share of the pub too.
Jo is really scheming...Andy and Katie's relationship is really going to hit the rocks, the best suggestion is to make sure Jo and Jamie move out so both Andy and Katie can have time to themselves and do what they want as a couple, at the moment though, they don't get a chance to do anything together because Jo and Jamie are in the way!
Bob really needs to notice what's wrong with Viv before she does something stupid.
Overall 9/10. :)
Skippy just can't admit that it was all her fault and doesn't like the fact that the tables have now turned on her. Plus she has a nosey boyfriend who keeps listening at keyholes...sorry I mean had...Quote:
