If you've explained your situation ro her she should really cut you some slack!! Can you suggest a small group of you go out for a drink somwhere quieter beforehand then the others can go on to a club?? Or take her a nice bottle of shampers round to hers before hand??
I think that she said something along the lines of, "Well excuse me for thinking that we could go somewhere lively and expect you to have a good time.." It was abit longer and a bit strppier, but I really don't think that I am going to be forgiven in a hurry..
That was a nice idea about the champagne, though, but she doesn't drink it. That would definitely have worked with me!
Me and all!!!! Flowers, massive bar of Dairy Milk!!!

I will laugh about it in the future, but possibley not with my friend. I have been disowned.
Had a bit of a shock just a few mintues ago. My mum told me that my friend who I used to babysit for, had been in a hit and run accident and is in a coma. First test showed he's brain dead.......why didn't the people who hit him stop? Gosh I'm so angry......what's this place coming to? 24 is too young to die!
Had the bus ride home from hell today -- some people just shouldn't be aloud to reproduce. Seriously.
I did, however, reduce one particularly annoying small brat to tears with one glare, so that was pretty cool. Wish I could have done the same thing to the mother.
that is awful, my thoughts are with you and his familyQuote:
