Work was crazy tonight! Busiest that I've seen it in a while!
I also went brunette today.. it's weird to get used to but I actually quite like it haha.
OMG im freaking out, my friend is picking me up at half 9 so we can go get our results
In Scotland you get them by mail to your house, with the option of getting them by email or text as well (between 8 am and 9am on the day they will arrive by post).
My son's results email arrived at 0801 and the certificate at 1500.

I'm sitting here nearly in tears. I've got my college induction day tomorrow and my friend was going to go with me, but she can't now as she has to go into college for 9.30 to get her whites and her timetable and stuff. I wanted someone there when i went in (i need to be there for 1), cause i'm really shy in real life, i've just nearly had a panic attack and started crying, i can't say anything to my mum about it cause she just think's i'm joking but i'm not. i'm dreading it compleltly now to the point where i don't want to go but i have to. urgh :crying:
Tannie, breathe deeply and relax. Try to think of something else this afternoon.
Tomorrow you can do this, and you will make friends. Concentrate on your breathing and smile at everyone you come across. If you put on a confident face you do end up feeling more confident - I know it sounds silly but it is true.
I am also quite shy in social settings, but I have learned over the years to make myself go over to new people, smile and introduce myself. It actually gives you a bit of control and that makes you feel better too.
Remember, a lot of people will be feeling just as scared as you.

Tannie it's okay to feel nervous, everyone on your course will be feeling the same. Try not to worry too much the tutors and staff will be very helpful and friendly.
Thanks guys I'm not as worried now as another mate said she would come to me and my mum said she'll wait for us plus I'm heading over to Edinburgh tomorrow night which should be wicked the only downside is the crowds which Means panic attacks but I'll try to stay calm. Plus I'm hoping when college starts up the time will fly by I'm getting excited for my 18th lol. :p :D
AOL has been out the whole day. Not good, especially when I wanted to check ucas track this morning, had to use my sisters phone.
Been into London tonight, Pizza Express then wandered into Covent Garden where we saw a guy in pink underpants juggling knives on a unicycle and then juggling chainsaws. He was amusing. He's called Covent garden chainsaw juggler with great ass. :lol:
College actually wasn't half as bad as i thought it would be :D. I have fridays off is well even better =):lol:. Didn't take admin instead i've took IT (Higher) & I've also took Using Oral Comm which will help me with my confidence and speaking to people =)

I had a really nice meal out for my dads birthday last night and today i am going to the football, im really excited now, like a kid at christmas.
I'm home alone for 10 days!
Hopefully, without an ill doggy to look after and being a year older, I'll have a better time of it because last year i found it difficult to cope because Scamp was so unwell :(
Was supposed to be going out tonight with everyone, but yesterday my so called friends decided to get all funny with me and now we're not exactly on talking terms so I'm working a 4-close shift instead. Money money money lol

Its easier than Ebay. You just go to your account on Amazon (if you have one) and press start selling...search for DVD or book and press add to listing, that's about it. :p

Was a good day - till I realised I start college next tuesday!! That has crept up from no where. I thought I still had at least another week off.
This week should be good though, got a friend staying tomorrow night, results on thursday (not so good!) party on thursday night, manchester shopping for college on saturday, family friends round for a drink on saturday and a birthday bbq on sunday - which always turns out to be good, been going the same one for the past 6 years and it's always a laugh :D
Can't belieeeeeve I start college next week though, I feel grownup ha.
Tired today. Started work at a cafe. I have had enough of washing up. :lol: The dishwasher is a bit knackered so you have to scrub all the sauce of the plates before you put it in and soak the teacups. I prefer the crematorium I got to sit down. :lol: However, this one pays. I might do the waitressing in the evenings next week just to have it on my CV.
Car is in for an MOT. Needs a new clutch but that isn't urgent so get that done next week because they order everything in.
Sounds good that you got a job, the money will be worth it in the end!
I had a good day, i had a mate come round, and we just chatted for ages, not seen him in ages so it was really nice to catch up.
Tonight just watching telly and cleaning up as the family are coming up tonmorrow, my auntie and uncle. Oh and i need to walk the dog.

We have been to and from the vets today. the dog cut his foot so he has a bandage on it and a plasic wellington to stop it getting wet.
Tomorrow going to get another shelve from IKEA.
I went to the doctors today about stomach cramps. And asked her about my panic attacks and she's giving me a website to have a look at, so having a look at it just now and i hope it helps made another appointment with her for 3/4 weeks to see if i do need to see a counsellor or not, but by then i'll be 18 so it will take ages to see one so i'm not 100% sure.
You can get free counselling through your college or university. Often the waiting list isn't as long as the NHS counsellor.
Can you? i didn't know that actually. But i'm not a definite for me it just depends on how i am in a month's time really.Quote:
