The country is crying out for Lorry drivers and Daft Jimmy is working in a cafe

jacob and leanna weren't even a couple when she died, he changed his mind over travelling numerous times
It is nearly August which has traditionally been known as the "Silly Season" but some of the current stories are not just silly, they are ridiculous. Oh, how I laughed at MacKenzie's misunderstanding of Brenda and Faith's antics. The village has become even more of a cesspit of gossip than usual with Bear, Bob, Dan Wendy , and Moira poking their noses into other people's business, eager for the next instalment of tittle tattle.
I am willing to bet that Jimmy and Nicola will not get divorced, although personally I am past caring if they do or not.
Did Sarah just walk into Pollard's without knocking?
Wendy very Worried about Jimmy
I do not believe that Paddy Kirk ( Not the Yorkshire Vet ) cured a dog of cancer once, let alone 3 times
No Jacob, it's not a good idea for the yoof of the village to sing Bridge over troubled water at the funeral
I am trying to make up my mind if Liam's reaction to Leanne's death is credible or not. As a doctor he must have seen many peoples reaction to a loved ones death, so he must have seen different reactions and have more understanding of this than most. Obviously he is overcome with grief but this constant criticizing and attacking of others is not helping him, especially when he asks them for help and then rejects it, while doing very little himself. Mind you I do admire him for not telling smug vicar Charles to get lost. Where is Harriet, did I imagine we recently saw her returned from her retreat ?
I agree with your thoughts on Liam's grieving .. as a doctor I am sure he would have advised a patient to get grief counselling .. could Manpreet or the vicar not suggest that to him as he seems incapable to think clearly .. I must admit, it is very well acted
Liam needs to get a grip, visit an undertakers and get back to work
im finding jacob irritating annoying
Jacob is being very insensitive, as you say funerals are for the living not the dead. He went to Portugal and forgot about her for months, and when he returned he could not even make up his mind if he was Leanna's boyfriend or not. I think he now has a distorted view of the past. I don't think many people still believe that the dead are up there looking down on us, I apologize if this upsets anyone here. Leyla really needs to tell him to let Liam have the funeral he wants. As for Liv's drinking, she is not content in drinking herself into an early grave now she is trying to get Jacob to join her.
Is Meena setting her sights at Liam Now?
My late mother outlived 2 of her 5 children. I don't remember much about my first brother dying but do about my second brother's death, by which time she was in her 80s. She was very resentful especially with her grandchildren' partners for some reason. She claimed no one was calling her. One day she complained about my children not calling her. My son had told me he'd spoken to her earlier in the day, I told her this. She said yes, but he hasn't called me. After going round in circles there was no point in continuing the conversation. A few days later she called me, my remaining brother and my sister. She was absolutely vitriolic to all of us. I was shell shocked, my sister was in floods tears and my brother thought she was completely dotty. It basically felt like she resented us for still being alive. Fortunately her sister, who'd also outlived 2 of her children spoke some sense to her. She called and apologised to which I said there was no need. I think my point is grief is a very personal thing. There can be a lot of harsh things said, it's not easy, but it's best to try and not dwell on them.
Leyla needs to have a chat with Cain.
Cain will tell Liam what to do.
Diane throwing out black bin liners .. Jamie comes along and asks "What are you doing with my stuff???" ... how did he know Diane was chucking out his property? :hmm:
Is this the last we see of snivelling little rich boy Jamie, i do hope so.
Diane could have been putting out the rubbish for the bin men, - Oh wait, perhaps that what she was doing.
I look forward to the day suitcases and holdalls are invented, then when characters move home they pack properly and leave with some dignity instead of using the obligatory bin bags.
Cain was just looking for an excuse to dump on Faith
He is part of the reason for Sarah's anxiety
Does Gabby really think that Jamie will give her half of what he is worth ?
She is deluded.
where is charity
When I tuned in on Friday, I thought I had selected the wrong channel, I thought this must be WWF wrestling. A twist on mud wrestling, instead of mud it was birthday cake on a bouncy castle. - Was this comedy?
Jimmy doing his impression of an Ostrich again. - They really have turned him into an idiot.
