If the Kim and Jamie poison story was an attempt at "Drama and Suspense" it failed miserably. If was obvious Kim was not dead and equally obvious that she did not put poison in Jamie's drink. Why is it that characters wanting to leave somewhere, in times of danger, just give up when they find the front door locked, instead of trying the back door or try to climb out a window. I would have thought that Jamie living there would have a key. I thought they would drag it out a bit more, that Kim would disappear for a while before confronting Jamie. Not sure whether I am glad or sad that they didn't. It's hard to say where Emmerdale sits now it's not dramatic enough to be drama and not funny enough to be comedy. I really cannot think of any characters that I like, certainly think of those I don't.
