mam came to visit me so we went to anglessey which was nice and i got her a neclace from accesorize and a card.
It is Mother' Day this coming Sunday, 22 March. Will you spoil your mum and if so, how are you going to make her feel special? :)
well ive got tickets for my mum to go and see connie fisher!!(well she is 69) but has for me im getting taken out for sunday lunch which will be nice and my husbands mum is getting flowers
Nothing wrong with going to see Connie Fisher, no matter how old you are, if you like her, :) Looks like you are going to have a nice day, well deserved, no doubt.
ive not got anything for my mum yet, i havent had the time, ill probably get something on thursday
This will be the first mothers day since my mother in law died - no doubt my husband will be quite down.
WRT my Mum, I took her out for dinner with my dad and to a concert last week, and we are doing the same on 29th March - so I doubt I will see her on mothers day. I will send flowers and a card, though.
I am going out with all my sisters who are mothers and my mother for a dinner...
I have a college exam on sunday
I still have no idea what to get her!
I keep forgetting about this! Its my dads birthday on the 25th aswell lol everything comes at once.
I've paid for my parents to stay in a B&B up in Newcastle, near my sister for a night.
I was looking online at Interflora and such to send her some flowers (seeing as I'm 100 miles from home) but they are so expensive. The cheapest bunch is £25, plus £6 delivery for ordinary days or £8 to have them delivered on Sunday.
Still stuck on what to get my mum. It's her birthday on the 31st of March too. Hmm... will probably get her chocolates and a CD for Mother's Day. Don't know for her birthday though..
Its cos as part of they A2 course they have to make up a group dance and its easier to use other people who dont do the course to be in it, since everyone has to make up a dance as well
Its not too bad
We had the show tonight, was sooo nervous
A bit of nerves are needed for a good performance :) How did it go?
Im actually working on sunday - we're crazy busy at work  As for my mum, i dont know what to get her; last year i took her out for a meal - might just do that again!
Some ideas:
If mum loves gardening, Marks and Spencer sell enamel polka dot herb pots for £9.50, or get her a watering can or some short wellies. gardening gloves, a book on gardening/plants/flowers.
Or a new teapot or some new herbal tea flavours, chocolates/champagne. Or perhaps a book/CD/DVD you know she would enjoy.
Bits of jewellery is always nice and costume jewellery is not too expensive.
There is the 1001 little beauty miracles book for £3.50 from Marks and Spencer or a new make-up bag/handbag.
i love getting flowers for mothers day flowers off your children are always special, i wouldnt appreciate a teapot
ive got a card, ive not got a pressie yet though. although according to my sis my mum said she didnt know what she wanted so we can get her something in a few weeks time, which is good cos i dont actually have any time between now and sunday to go and get anything!
Ive got my mum a mug, with bears on and got her some thortons chocolates and will probs get her some flowers x
Sounds lovely, Emmie, I am sure she will love it all :D
pants! i knew i had to do something! and its my mams birthday that day as well
Im going to go home tomorrow, so ill pick something up in town tomorrow and then probably go and get something to eat
Happy Mothers Day to all mums, dads who are also doing the mum´s job and all mums to fur babies
Not that I want to fan the "thread" debate
but as Uk has already celebrated Mothers
Day this year in March as usual + I was
surprised to see your post come up.!!
Ive no realised that Australia celebrates
in May.
So is this a multi -purpose thread- not that
are many posts on it -since 2006:o::p
