Charlie is Tanya neice, daughter of Gary's brother Simon. Charlie turns up in Baymoore shortly after her mothers death, after falling out with her father.
Despite approaching adulthood, Charlie is a spoilt brat, who is an attention seeker and rebel. Charlie does as she pleases, when she pleases and is a parents worst nightmare.

Simon is Gary's older brother. Simon has experienced life fully, been around the world, had two marriages and lived to tell the tale. Simon is clearly the "wild child" of the family, and is a loose cannon unlike Gary. Simon has a troubled relationship with daughter Charlie ever since he cheated on her mother whilst she was suffering cancer. Simon left her for his mistress and ever since there has been bitter feelings between the pair. Simon comes to Baymoore to tame his wayward daughter, but will he suceed?
