Pierce and Dipi have become very close friends
I think it?s more of a Gary replacement than a romance though. Opposite sexes can be just friends! Despite neighbours always making them have those ?weak moments?.

Neighbours teases imminent Pierce Greyson switch as Don Hany takes over from Tim Robards
"Maybe it's a new haircut?"

Neighbours spoilers follow.
Neighbours has teased its upcoming Pierce Greyson switch by featuring new cast member Don Hany in spoiler pictures for the first time.
Don has taken over the role of Pierce for the character's final weeks on screen, after Tim Robards was forced to leave the show earlier than planned.
Tim's final episode as Pierce aired in Australia today (October 19) and, after a three-episode gap, Don's first scenes in the role will air on Friday (October 23).
As Channel 5 is still three weeks behind Australia, the UK dates are Monday, November 9 for Tim's exit and Friday, November 13 for Don's first appearance.
10 Peach, which airs Neighbours in Australia, has now given fans a first look at one of Don's first scenes.
The station tweeted: "Check out this week's spoiler gallery! Pierce is looking a little different, maybe it's a new haircut?"
The on-screen switch comes as Pierce continues to feature in a big storyline, as he's cheating on his wife Chloe with Dipi Rebecchi.
Show bosses opted to recast Pierce as rewriting scripts to remove him early would have had too many knock-on effects for future stories.
Sharon Johal, who plays Dipi, recently told Digital Spy: "You've got to remember that there's a very full storyline still to play out in Pierce's final four weeks. Obviously that involved me as well, and the ramifications of that storyline are going to be felt in Erinsborough for months to come.
"You can't just pull Pierce out and say: 'This guy's gone'. That would affect Chloe's storyline, Dipi's storyline, Shane's storyline and the whole Street. I think it was the right decision to have Don come in."
Tim chose to leave Neighbours early amid changing travel restrictions in Australia due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Tim flew back to Sydney to be with his wife ahead of the birth of their first child.
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).

they should have had the original pierce exit after the miscarriage as it was clear chloe don't want him or his baby, she is selfish but no need to make him a cheat, hendrix could stay with the kennedys
I find it very hard to believe after everything Dipi and Shane have been through that she is going to have an affair she has be come so 2 faced, she has treated Shane terrible she pushed him to the drugs.
Not impressed with her dresses her new cleavage views and her attitude. When Sonya was in it and she gave advise on things the character seems to have changed so much, and not very realisticly.
First impressions: Not keen. Doesn't fit the character (the personality we're used to, that is). Mumbly voice.
He'd be better suited to an organised crime kingpin type or gruff police chief.

EXCLUSIVE: Don Hany spills on his Neighbours debut and taking over from Tim Robards
''It was like walking into someone else?s life.''
https://www.nowtolove.com.au/celebri...-robards-65774
He's one of Australia's highest-profile acting talents, best known for taking on gritty, intense roles in some of the country's most acclaimed films and TV series.
But this week Don Hany makes his debut on Neighbours ? stepping into a character last inhabited by ex-Bachelor star Tim Robards!
It's a strange fit, but we have to say ? we're loving it!
"And so am I," laughs Don, who is chatting to TV WEEK at the tail-end of Melbourne's brutal four-month second lockdown.
"I actually had an awesome time. It's not really something I ever thought I'd get to do, but I'm really proud of it, and I feel very lucky I got a chance to do it."
Stepping into the role of Pierce Greyson certainly wasn't on Don's '2020 Bingo card'. But then, getting caught up in a global pandemic wasn't either.
After COVID-19 struck, the 45-year-old Logie-winning actor suddenly found the projects he had slated to film in 2020 were suddenly cancelled.
When Neighbours approached about the possibility of stepping in for one month to replace Tim Robards ? who had to leave the show four weeks earlier than scheduled due to lockdown and the impending birth of his first child ? his slate was surprisingly clean.
"I never really came close to working on the show for so long," he explains. "And then suddenly being in the middle of it, when all this [COVID] weirdness was going on around it ? it was surreal.
"It was almost like I dreamed the whole chapter!
"Now I'm on the other side of it, it's like, I feel so grateful I had the chance."
So spill ? was it as fun stepping into the shoes of a character like Pierce, Ramsay Street's resident philandering billionaire?
"It was the best job I have ever had!" Don laughs. "First of all, because Tim had done all this work for me ? it was like walking into someone else's life for a month.
"But also because there were so many people I knew there."
Though he says he was busier "playing cricket" as a kid than watching episodes of the iconic Aussie soap, Don admits he was very familiar with many of the characters.
"The thing is, whether you watched the show or not, the characters are just tattooed in everyone's mind," he says, adding that he was as excited as anyone to be meeting some of them on their home turf of Ramsay Street!
"It was really great to meet some of the cast that had been there so long, like Stefan (Dennis). And I have been a huge fan of Annie Jones since the early days ? and Fletch (Alan Fletcher) and Jackie (Woodburne)," he says.
"Also, I was so impressed with the talent of the younger cast. Ben Turland (who plays Hendrix Greyson) ? he was such a joy to work with; such a lovely guy and such a great sense of humour, but so talented as well."
For several years, Don's wife, Strike Back actress Alin Sumarwata, also appeared on the show, playing regular character, Vanessa Villante. During her time there, Don got to know many of her co-stars.
"It was like going to work at an old friend's, because I knew most people already through her, or through other jobs I'd done," he explains.
"It surprised me, on one hand, to see just how close everyone was. Even though I knew people separately, I hadn't seen everybody together like that, and I didn't realise just what a tight family that group of people is ? much more than it would normally be (on a set), simply because of the hours they work.
"They work all week, and all year ? and they just don't stop!"
Stopping is not something Don has done a lot of these past few years. In fact, it took a global pandemic to get him to slow down a bit.
During both Melbourne lockdowns, Don spent his time pottering around at home with his wife and two daughters, getting stuck into all those household jobs that had been piling up.
"We had the opportunity to get on with all the things we said we would do one day," he says.
"I think if you are lucky enough that you weren't working with an airline or working in a restaurant where your life literally changed overnight and you stopped working, it was Ok ? I can't imagine how many lives have been turned upside down because of that."
With 2020 suddenly unexpectedly quiet on the job front, his short one-month gig at Ramsay Street came along at just the right time. Neighbours was one of the world's first TV series to resume filming ? with strict social distancing guidelines in place ? which meant it was business as usual. Sort of.
"Everyone was being incredibly safe and responsible, and there were temperature checks and COVID testing," he says of the rules in place.
"Where it's practical, there is social distance everywhere, and it's all about limiting the possibility of contact ? there are as few people during scenes [as possible], and they are sanitising props everywhere and everyone is squeezing sanitiser onto their hands during scenes.
"Everyone knew all the measures are in place to ensure that production can keep rolling."
Don says it's testament to the resilience of the show that it has been able to endure during these tricky times.
"And even before this, that it has survived so long without really any local money," he says.
"It's been sort of taken for granted, and assumed that it's always going to be there. But if you think about how many big industry people literally started on that show, or on one of two shows in the country ? Home and Away and Neighbours ? and then gone on to become huge, huge industry role models, it's something to be proud of."
Now Don can count himself amongst that esteemed company.
"I really did have an awesome time," he says. "I feel lucky I got the chance to do it."
This latest storyline with Pierce and Dipi is unconvincing He has got selfish and Dipi awful, shes horrible to her husband.
Looks like he might have a heart attack. In a mini trailer, he falls to the floor.
I saw it on Facebook and Instagram. Here?s the YouTube video. https://youtu.be/zsuf-bGsZO4

Neighbours airs Pierce Greyson exit as Don Hany leaves the show
Pierce has one final warning for Chloe.
https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...exit-don-hany/
Neighbours spoilers follow from Australian-pace episodes, which some UK readers may prefer to avoid.
Neighbours' Pierce Greyson has left Ramsay Street on Australian screens, with Don Hany's final scenes airing.
Pierce's exit was first announced in August, as Don took over the role to finish off the character's storylines. Tim Robards, who left early to be with his wife ahead of the birth of their first child, played Pierce before the recasting.
Friday's episode (November 27) on 10 Peach in Australia saw Pierce moving to Sydney for a fresh start, following the end of his marriage to Chloe Brennan (April Rose Pengilly).
Pierce found time to visit Dipi Rebecchi (Sharon Johal), with whom he had an affair, before leaving Erinsborough. Dipi was left visibly devastated by Pierce's departure, which did not go unnoticed by her husband Shane (Nicholas Coghlan).
Despite Pierce's exit, Hendrix (Benny Turland) will be remaining on Ramsay Street. The father and son reconciled, as Hendrix made plans to move in with the Kennedys and become more independent.
Finally, Pierce and Chloe shared an amicable goodbye, but Pierce dropped one final warning about Nicolette Stone (Charlotte Chimes), telling Chloe his suspicions that Nicolette only suggested having David and Aaron's baby to stay close to her.
These scenes will air in the UK in three weeks' time.
Don previously spoke of his delight at joining the show, even if it was just for a limited period.
"It was a delight to turn up and jump from one scene to another with all these great people," he said. "I honestly can't say I would prefer any other job!"
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).

Neighbours star Tim Robards returning to show as Pierce Greyson
He has been filming on location in Sydney.
https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...reyson-return/
Neighbours spoilers follow.
Neighbours star Tim Robards is reclaiming his role as Pierce Greyson for an upcoming storyline.
The actor was back at work on the long-running soap last week, 18 months after filming his final scenes as Pierce.
Neighbours producer Kate Kendall hinted at Tim's return last week after cast and crew had shot some special scenes on location in Sydney.
As work on the Sydney scenes ended, Kate wrote on Instagram: "Thanks @neighbours cast and crew for making this such an unforgettable shoot. See you tomorrow Melbourne."
Kate tagged Jackie Woodburne (Susan Kennedy), Alan Fletcher (Karl Kennedy), Georgie Stone (Mackenzie Hargreaves) and Ben Turland (Hendrix Greyson) into her post.
She also included Tim, giving the game away over his comeback. Jane Allsop, who plays Hendrix's mother Lisa Rowsthorn, was also tagged.
A Neighbours insider exclusively verified the return of Pierce and Lisa to Digital Spy, confirming that Hendrix's parents will be back as part of a big storyline airing later this year.
Further details are staying under wraps for the time being, but it's thought that Hendrix and his girlfriend Mackenzie have a major plotline coming up.
A Neighbours spokesperson told Digital Spy: "We don't comment on advanced storylines."
Tim joined the cast of Neighbours in 2018. He left the role earlier than planned in 2020 amid changing travel restrictions in Australia, needing to fly back to Sydney to be with his wife ahead of the birth of their first child.
The part of Pierce was recast, with Don Hany playing the billionaire businessman for his final weeks on screen.
When Pierce briefly returned in 2021, he was played by Don again.
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).

Neighbours star Tim Robards breaks silence on Pierce Greyson return
"It was an absolute honour to be asked back."
https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...reyson-return/
Neighbours' Tim Robards has broken his silence on his return.
Last month, it emerged that the star would be coming back as Pierce Grayson after 18 months away from the soap.
Neighbours has now officially confirmed the news, revealing that the character will be back for a guest appearance next month ? starting May 20.
"It was an absolute honour to be asked back to reprise my role as the OG Pierce Greyson!" Tim said. "COVID state border restrictions resulted in my sudden departure and replacement back in 2020 for what should have been my last month of filming.
"I'm beyond excited and grateful to get back and see the whole team whom I never got to say goodbye to. Now knowing the show is coming to an end, it's such a privilege to be a part of it one last time."
As mentioned, Tim had to leave the role earlier than planned in 2020 due to changing travel restrictions in Australia and needing to be with his wife in Sydney before the birth of their first child, with Don Hany temporarily recast in the role for his final scenes.
A Neighbours insider previously told Digital Spy that Pierce and Lisa Rowsthorn (Jane Allsop) will be back as part as part of a big storyline, with their son Hendrix (Ben Turland) and Mackenzie Hargreaves (Georgie Stone) expected to have a major plotline.

Neighbours confirms Pierce Greyson's emotional return storyline
Tim Robards reprises the role.
https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...-return-story/
Neighbours spoilers follow.
Neighbours has confirmed details of Pierce Greyson's upcoming return.
Tim Robards has reclaimed his role as Pierce for some emotional scenes which air as part of Hendrix's ongoing storyline.
Hendrix was recently told that he has a lung condition called pulmonary fibrosis. Due to the limited treatment options, he needs to undergo a lung transplant within the next three years.
In next week's episodes, Hendrix struggles after tensions with the Rodwell family lead to his condition being exposed to everyone on Ramsay Street.
As everyone reels from the news, Hendrix becomes angry over being surrounded by so much acrimony at the worst possible time.
Fortunately, a heart-to-heart with Levi Canning helps Hendrix to work through his emotions.
Hendrix also realises that, with everyone else knowing the truth, it's only a matter of time before he'll have to tell his family.
Later in the week, Hendrix and his girlfriend Mackenzie Hargreaves plan a trip to Sydney together.
Hendrix wants the holiday to be as stress-free as possible, so he decides that he won't tell his family about his condition while he's there.
When the young couple arrive in Sydney, Hendrix takes a trip down memory lane by showing Mackenzie some locations from his childhood.
Hendrix then visits his family and tries to keep his illness a secret from his dad Pierce, mum Lisa and sister Alana.
Unfortunately for Hendrix, a curious Alana notices his strange behaviour and he realises that he'll have to tell the truth after all.
With the support of his loved ones, Hendrix then decides to take another huge step forward.
Tim Robards last portrayed Pierce in 2020. Due to COVID-related travel restrictions in Australia, he bowed out from the role earlier than planned and was replaced by Don Hany, who played out the character's exit storyline.
When Pierce briefly returned in 2021, Don Hany played the part again.
Tim recently explained: "It was an absolute honour to be asked back to reprise my role as the OG Pierce Greyson! COVID state border restrictions resulted in my sudden departure and replacement back in 2020 for what should have been my last month of filming.
"I'm beyond excited and grateful to get back and see the whole team whom I never got to say goodbye to. Now knowing the show is coming to an end, it's such a privilege to be a part of it one last time."
Neighbours airs these scenes on Friday, May 20 at 1.45pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Thursday, June 16 on 10 Peach (Australia).
