What a slap in the face to debbie rush. 10 years she gave to this show and that’s how they send her off.
When he is finally caught looks like Anna will be found innocent but never return due to bad memories. Maybe Rosie gets her memory back about Phelan that day and they release Anna and she never returns.
I believe we have seen the last of Anna, that was her final appearance .... I do hope she makes a guest appearance when Phelan finally will be found out .. Coronation Street will be fairly sparsely occupied then as most will have been murdered by Phelan by then
I dd not like the end bit of Corrie. Whats with the music and showing different characters at the same time
I think that getting rid of him - 2022/3, sometime around then - will win Corrie the award as everyone will vote for them out of relief that at last they've git rid of him and the most ridiculous interminable story ever to grace British soap television.
Of course, Britain still has some way to go to match Bobby in the shower or Fallon and the flying saucer, but we're getting there....
There must be a reason they suddenly got Kevin to dump her like a hot brick. Owen will definately be back.
Is she even appealing?
I thought Gary and Faye would want her appealing
if she would stop screaming and shouting we may be able to see her attractive side
Coronation Street revisits Anna Windass's storyline next week, as her family desperately hope that she'll soon be freed.
Anna has been in jail since January, when she was found guilty of pushing Seb Franklin from a ladder after being framed by Pat Phelan.
Although Anna always protested that she was innocent and that Phelan had masterminded the whole thing, few people believed her story – but that could be about to change.
This week's episodes saw Phelan finally exposed as an evil serial killer as the bodies of Vinny Ashford and Andy Carver were found on the mill site, leading to Phelan's demise.

Next week, Anna's son Gary can't help wondering what the recent developments will mean for his mum.
As Phelan's evidence played a large part in convicting Anna, there are surely now grounds for an appeal – a possibility that Gary quickly latches onto.
Although actress Debbie Rush has now left the soap, Corrie fans will see Gary and Faye return home from a trip to see her in prison – confident that she'll soon be released. But will life really be that simple?
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday (April 2) at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.

adam or imran should be working on her appeal :p
TBF she did batter Eileen and abscond, even thou she is innocent of attacking Seb, she broke the law.
Suspect she will get a time served decision and be released.
Oh Id make for a nasty magistrate :ninja:
danny barlow starts a free anna campaign
We had the Free the Weatherfield One when Deirdre Barlow was jailed innocently so only fair that the residents do this for Anna ... I do hope she gets out of jail to see Phelan's comeuppance and I do not want him to die ... might have mentioned this before, sorry :p
I thought she was leaving for good so she might not be back on the Street. We could just get Gary mentioning that she's moved away or something like that...
Coronation Street revisits Anna Windass's jail storyline next week as concern mounts over the lack of news on her release.
Anna was sentenced to five years in prison in January after Pat Phelan managed to frame her for GBH.
The big reveal of Phelan's killing spree left Anna's family with fresh hope that she could be freed, since her conviction mainly relied on the villain's bogus evidence.
In next week's episodes, the local residents start to worry as the authorities are clearly in no rush to help Anna despite everything that's happened.

Fortunately, Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) is on the case as he vows to start a press campaign to secure Anna's release from prison.
Daniel is confident that media buzz will help to hurry things along for the Windass family, who are desperate for Anna to get the justice she deserves.
Phelan's daughter Nicola Rubinstein (Nicola Thorp) also decides to get involved, paying a visit to Eileen and encouraging her to back the campaign to free Anna.
Although Anna clearly needs all the support she can get right now, Eileen (Sue Cleaver) refuses to be part of it – complaining that she feels too ashamed to be fronting any public campaign.

Can Nicola convince Eileen to see sense? And is there still hope for Anna?
Corrie's exit for Anna marked Debbie Rush's departure from the role after nine years of drama on the cobbles and show bosses have yet to confirm whether she'll be back as part of this story.

I really hope Anna is freed and returns for Pat Phelan's trial but I think he will be killed off ultimately by Nicola
welcome home anna
Online chatter she is returning ....
