The Christmas trailer video shows Megan happy and sitting at the Dingle's table for the Christmas family dinner, so she clearly survives her accident with Jai's car on 10th December and seems to be OK. But is Megan happy about her unborn baby or because Jai has gone or both? Time will tell.

A shaken Ross can't believe it when Robert appears from the shadows brandishing a gun. Is this how Rob will seek his revenge?
It all comes to a head and Debbie arrives to confront her fella, is Mr Barton about to lose everything? Can he persuade Robert to let him live? And can he convince Debbie to forgive him? It's certainly not looking good for Ross as 2016 gets underway...

Now we've had this spoiler indecision here before:
My thoughts on this right now (and have been for ages...) are that Debbie seems to remain the legal guardian of Moses as of New Years Day and that she should leave Emmerdale with herself, Sarah, Jack and Moses. Debbie has always been, for me anyway, one of the more sensible residents in Emmerdale village. Just why Debbie would leave Moses in the "safe care" of Ross or "Psycho Nurse" Emma seems beyond my understanding right now. If Debbie really turns out to randomly leave Moses with Ross then I, for one anyway, will really know that Emmerdale has now reached an all-time low in believeability and suitability for family viewing before 9pm on ITV on weekdays. C'mon, Debbie, you're a good mother really [TW: aren't you?]. Ross does not have [TW: as of right now as far as I know] any kind of definite fatherly rights to Moses, as I don't think that Ross Barton is mentioned on baby Moses' birth certificate?Quote:

HELLO! magazine followed the Debbie exit storyline yesterday. The wording used is more definite than that from previous writers and suggests that Debbie leaves Moses behind with Ross (=with Moira and Cain?).
"The police investigation into the warehouse raid uncovers fresh evidence into Robert's shooting, leading them to Ross' home. While Robert confronts Ross with a firearm, the discovery that he was involved in the shooting prompts Debbie to pack her bags and escape Emmerdale, leaving baby Moses behind with Ross." (HELLO! magazine, 16/12/15)
Debbie hasn't been impressed with Ross's parenting and baby-sitting skills so far, so would she just leave Moses with him? Maybe during the prison visit on New Years Day, Debbie tells Charity that she's leaving Emmerdale later and they agree to let Moira/Cain be the legal guardians of Moses with immediate effect, seeing as Cain is Charity's cousin and Debbie's father? I'm not convinced that Charity would make Ross the legal guardian of Moses for now, not with Emma hovering around and with Charity still in prison.
The New Year's Day picture scene of Moira holding Moses and Debbie reaching out doesn't make it clear if Debbie is reaching out to take Moses back, or is just touching him for one last time, or has just handed him over to Moira.
Whatever happens, we'll know for definite at latest by two weeks from tomorrow.

BTW, Duncan Lindsay from Metro tweeted on 8th December that Charity would return from prison to Emmerdale in the "Early part of next year".
2015 ends on an alarming note for Vanessa Woodfield on Emmerdale when she hears some surprising news about her baby son Johnny.
As the rest of the village are busy celebrating New Year's Eve, Vanessa (Michelle Hardwick) goes into a panic when she sees something strange on Johnny's back.
With support from her friend and housemate Carly Hope, a worried Vanessa calls in the midwife to find out more.
The midwife's advice is a relief for Vanessa, until she adds something which comes as a complete shock.
Could it relate to Johnny's health, or has the secret of Johnny's true paternity just been revealed?

Debbie leaves & Ross dies ?
Ross Barton has had more lives than any cat, - even managing to come back from the dead in the summer. But now, on New Years eve, it looks as though he may not be ringing in 2016 after all as Robert pulls a gun on him.
Of course it was Ross who shot Robert in that cold dark night outside the Woolpack - not the easiest of targets, especially with Chas standing in the way. But as Robert takes aim from point blank range it doesn’t look like he’s going to miss. How can Ross talk himself out of that one, and, even if he does, has the intrepid DS Hart got enough to put him away for good?
While Ross’ life hangs in the balance, Debbie has big decisions to make. As the new year Dawns, she pays Charity a visit in prison, Shocked by what her mum has to say about her relationship with Ross, she decides she’s going to take the children and leave the village for good, devastating both Cain & Andy.

Ross (Michael Parr) has some serious questions to answer as the local force continue to investigate the warehouse robbery that he carried out with Aaron Livesy just before Christmas.
When DS Hart demands to speak to Ross about the incident, he lies through his teeth by insisting that he had nothing to do with it.
Unfortunately, DS Hart proves more cunning than Ross could have imagined by making some intriguing observations in the home he shares with Debbie Dingle.
Later, Ross is shaken when DS Hart returns again - this time with a search warrant. With the police now delving into the mystery of Robert Sugden's shooting again rather than just the robbery, is it the end of the line for Ross?

It's an occasion every man wants to get just right.
But Emmerdale's Ross Barton (Michael Parr) makes a colossal blunder with his surprise proposal to Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb) in Thursday night's episode, as he forgets her engagement ring.
Keen to impress his fiancée with an elaborate romantic gesture, the Emmerdale badboy transforms the garage into a love grotto.
A small table covered with red petals takes pride of place, with a large bouquet of roses as its centrepiece.
There's a bottle of Champagne on ice, a flickering candle and plenty of fairy lights, but none of it makes up for the fact that he's missing the most important element.
Things then go from bad to worse, as Ross's brother Finn, who's been tasked with bringing Debbie to the garage, goes through with the plan unaware of what has happened.
Arriving in a black cover up worn over a red top, Debbie looks confused as she's forced to awkwardly wait with Finn (Joe Gill). She stands sipping a glass of bubbly while Finn frets in the background, unsure of what's going on.

With his marriage plans already in jeopardy, Ross faces further trouble when Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) stops him in his tracks armed with a gun and threatening revenge for the shooting that nearly killed him.
Earlier in the episode Robert's brother Andy confesses that it was Ross who shot him after the pair made a deal.
Andy wanted his brother dead as he blamed him for the death of his wife Katie, and he agreed to kill Ross's brother Pete for him if Ross took out Robert.
Charley, 27, will be taking a hiatus from the soap following the New Year's Day episode as she goes on maternity leave with her second child.
The actress already has a five-year-old son called Buster with her partner and fellow Emmerdale actor Mathew Wolfenden.
Emmerdale airs these scenes in an hour-long episode tonight at 7pm on ITV.
