It says that Jamie and Frankie sleep together. I heard Jamie kisses her, but Frankie rejects him. Does she change her mind?!
I don't think Jamie could believe that Sean was the father. You'd have to be pretty dumb. :) But I think this is going to be a fantastic storyline!
I don't think it will ever end up with Sean and his boyfriend adopting the baby though. I'm sure Jamie would want to be involved when he finds out, and Violet is bound to have second thoughts.
When is Violet going to announce she's pregnant? they split up about 3 weeks ago, would you say? So i'm assuming she'll find out pretty soon.
Do you think Sean will be the first person she tells? I reckon so.
Antony Cotton was just on American Idol and said that Sean and Violet would have a baby together as Violet doesn't have much time due to the damage caused by her eptopic pregnancy. I think it will be quite sweet.
Coronation Street's Sean Tully and Jason Grimshaw are about to embark on their first ever plotline in the soap together, Mirror.co.uk can reveal.
And actors Anthony Cotton and Ryan Thomas revealed to us that the plot would be "comedy" - as well as being "romantic!"
Since his real-life girlfriend Tina O'Brien's departure from Corrie, there had been rumours that Ryan's future on the show could be in doubt.
However, now it seems he's staying in Weatherfield for a good while yet - though exactly WHAT the pair's storyline entails is still a bit of a mystery.
Ryan explained: "I think it's going to be a bit of comedy, but at the end there's going to be a bit of drama."
Anthony added: "It's going to be really, really funny. It's like a comedy of errors - for Ryan. It's funny to everyone else apart from Jason, haha."
Anthony continued: "I've literally just done the first set-up scenes. I'm really looking forward to it because I adore Ryan. And it will mean we're going out on location. Away from the cobbles! I can't really say anymore though."
Ryan interrupted: "It is going to be romantic too, haha!"
Is Jason now thinking he could be gay too like his brother? :hmm:
SHOW bosses plan to re-unite gay knicker-stitcher Sean Tully with his long- lost son as part of an emotional plot to mark the soap’s 50th anniversary.
Fans will know Sean (Antony Cotton, 35) became a dad after acting as a sperm donor for his barmaid friend Violet Wilson but he was devastated when she fled the Street taking two-year-old Dylan with her. He was a baby, not 2 years old, surely?
I expect that Violet will have to come back as well then, maybe with Jamie :D Have not seen either actor on tv sicne their departure
Daily Star
I wish Sean would leave so that he could be close to the baby.
I like Sean, hope he stays around for a long time :D
yeah, he really wasn't two! but it would be good to see them again, feel sorry for Sean that the poor baby isn't even mentioned anymore!
I guess, if they mention the baby, they have to show it, and Violet was quite adamant that she did not want Sean involved once Jamie volunteered to be Dad and left Corrie before Sean knew what she was doing
Maybe they mean hes 2 now?
OK,with a lot of imagination, I can see that iw what they meant. However, I prefer they cocked it up :D
EASTENDER John Partridge, who plays gay muscle man Christian Clarke, has branded Coronation Street's camp character Sean Tully a "stereotype".
John said Sean's success on the ITV1 soap was the reason that BBC bosses created their own gay character.
But they told him Christian had to be the OPPOSITE of Sean, played by Antony Cotton, 34.
John, 38, said: "What I didn't want as a stereotype was what I call a tea-time gay. The Sean Tully type of character is the reason my character is here.
"I've worked in theatre for 20 years and there are lots of queens in the West End that look and act like that.
"I'm not going to diss his performance or his style, or say 'Who does he think he's representing?' because he is representing one of those shades of gay.
"It may not be your taste, but if that character hadn't happened and been so successful, I don't think the BBC would have gone, 'Right, we need a gay character.'"
But John admitted that some would see his tight vest wearing character as a gay stereotype as well.
He said: "The vest thing was my idea. It was my way of saying, 'I'm here, I'm gay.'"
Christian is currently caught up in a love triangle with gay Muslim Syed Masood, played by Marc Elliott, and his wife Amira, played by Preeya Kalidas.
John - who will be a judge on BBC1's new talent show Over The Rainbow - said he had received lots of letters from people in the same situation.
He said: "It's groundbreaking for a soap to address sexuality and religion.
"I'm a gay man, my family are Christians, and I'm sure there's a part of them that goes, 'I don't really agree with that,' but they get on with it."
He also admitted he's slightly scared of fellow EastEnders star Jake Wood - who plays cabbie Max Branning - after the veteran actor acted as his mentor.
John said: "He's a bit scary, even to this day. That's good, at least it was about the work, and that's what it has to be when you start something like that."

The thing is Anthony Cotton is just playing himself in Corrie so if he doesnt know how a gay should act then who does
Antony Cotton has teased his current Coronation Street storyline.
The actor told What's On TV that Sean Tully's first meeting with his son will be "one of the most important moments of his life".
Cotton revealed that thanks to Liz McDonald (Beverley Callard), Sean will be invited to London to see his son Dylan by the child's mother Violet.
"He's beside himself," he said. "He wants to be a proper dad to him now and this storyline will take off when the boy comes to the Street."
Cotton, who reportedly signed a new 12-month contract with the soap in June, added: "It was overwhelming for him and, strangely, I took on the gravity of it and it really moved me.
"He's not seen the little chap for two years. It's his flesh and blood and that's two years he'll never get back. So on one hand he's elated, but on the other he feels a sense of loss."
Asked what sort of dad the factory worker would make, Cotton said that Dylan will "get the best of both worlds".
"He'll be a good dad, but a different one to Violet's partner Jamie. Jamie's the sort of dad who'll take him to football matches, but Sean will probably take him to shows," he said.
I dont think Violet and Jamie will return tbh
Coronation Street star Antony Cotton has confirmed that he will be sticking with the soap for at least another year.
The actor, who plays Sean Tully, announced the news on Twitter today (June 9) after finalising a new deal with the ITV show.
It gives me the greatest pleasure to say that I have just signed a new contract with @itvcorrie. Happy days!
— Antony Cotton (@antonycotton) June 9, 2014
Cotton also hinted that there are big plans for Sean, who will be brought to the forefront of the show in his own storyline later this year.
Speaking of his new contract, he said: "That sees Sean staying at number 11 until at least August next year, with a very exciting and unique storyline beginning this autumn."
Cotton has been playing Sean since 2003, but has mainly played a supporting role in storylines since his character's split from Marcus Dent two years ago.
Charlie Condou, who played Marcus, recently finished filming with Coronation Street and will depart screens in the next few weeks.
I like the character, great to see him in a bigger storyline again
Antony Cotton has teased a controversial new storyline for his character Sean Tully.
The actor recently announced that he's signed a new one-year contract with the soap, and teased an exciting upcoming storyline.
"That sees Sean staying at number 11 until at least August next year, with a very exciting and unique storyline beginning this autumn," he revealed.
Speaking to Attitude, Cotton said that future developments may cause controversy: "We're going to start it in autumn. By the fact that Sean is a resident homosexual of the parish, it is a gay storyline.
"It's going to be a story that's never been done before, and it's a great story. :hmm:
"I'm thrilled and very excited by it. It's a real honour for us to do it, because it's going to wind a lot of people up. I can't tell you anymore about it.
"Fans of the show will enjoy it, and it'll be fun. But there's an element to it that I think will get some people wound up.
The actor has been on the show since 2003, but has played more of a supporting role since his character's split from Marcus Dent two years ago.
sean falls for a priest and this storyline has been done before in hollyoaks

The pair meet on a night out, but Sean is later surprised when he discovers more about Billy's background.
Sean, played by Antony Cotton, will struggle as Billy tries to split his time between their relationship and his parishioners.
Producer Stuart Blackburn said: "It's about time Sean had a romance, he's been unlucky in love for a long time. Billy is a great guy who is sincere about his feelings for Sean, but his first love is and always will be God and the Church.
"We will be exploring this very modern relationship in the coming months, and are delighted to have Daniel on board to play Billy."
Meanwhile, Cotton added: "I am thrilled that Sean is to find love again especially with this unique and exciting storyline. I'm sure it'll have its ups and downs, but that's what makes Coronation Street great. Hopefully it will be tender, funny and honest. Heaven!"
Brocklebank - who previously starred in Shakespeare in Love - said that he is "hugely excited" to be part of the new storyline.
"I'm really looking forward to working with Antony Cotton and the rest of the cast, as well as joining my best mate Hayley Tamaddon on the cobbles," he said.
Earlier this year, Cotton teased the potentially controversial storyline, saying that it may wind some viewers up.
Brocklebank will begin filming his scenes next month, and will appear on screen from December.
i remember him from emmerdale and eastenders
I don't want more Sean scenes less would be better
I like Sean. I wonder what Emily will say!
Coronation Street star Daniel Brocklebank is hopeful for a strong future for his character Billy Mayhew and his partner Sean Tully.
The pair will take their relationship to the next level in upcoming episodes after an experience with a homophobic pub owner brings them closer together.

Billy confesses he's in love with Sean
After spending the night together Sean and Billy are feeling more loved up than ever next week, but their happiness is tainted when Billy sadly learns that a sick child he was visiting has died.
As Sean instinctively comforts the devastated vicar, Billy confesses to Sean that he is falling in love with him.
Brocklebank said: "I think Billy is absolutely in love with Sean. They make a very cute couple. Billy admires Sean's no-nonsense attitude and good sense of humour.
"Sean is a little shocked at first. I'm not sure he's used to anyone being as emotionally honest as Billy is. Ultimately Sean is pleased. I think he feels the same way."

Sean and Billy are met with disapproval
Brocklebank also revealed that he hopes Billy and Sean can stay together for the foreseeable future, adding that Billy would even sacrifice his role at the church.
Discussing whether he would choose Sean over being a vicar, he said: "Although it would be a tough decision, absolutely. He loves Sean and would do anything to make him happy.
"I think they're great together. I also think it would be great to show a happy, stable gay couple on television. You don't see that often enough."
Bad news for some of you on here who are not too keen on him ....
Antony Cotton won't be departing Weatherfield anytime soon, as the actor has confirmed that he has signed a new 12-month deal.
Cotton made his debut in July 2003, with the new deal now taking him through to July 2016.
Writing on Twitter, he announced: "Just a quick @itvcorrie update. I have signed to stay with the show July 2016. Happy days #StreetLife"
2015 has seen Sean embark on a relationship with vicar Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank), with the couple forced to keep their relationship private due to Billy's work.
Over the weekend, Cotton attended the wedding of former co-star Michelle Keegan to Mark Wright. He thanked the pair for "the most AMAZING weekend" on Twitter, adding: "Here's to years of health and happiness for you both."
Coronation Street's special week of 9pm episodes continues tonight on ITV.
Drat....he must know where the bodies are burried. It`s the only reason I can think of why he is still there.
Keep Billy, and get rid of Sean next year please Corrie.
Sorry, TL. I have always liked Sean and still do, great to see him for another year :D
No apology needed Perdita.
The world would be a dull place if we all liked the same people wouldn`t it
:)
It's now official: Antony Cotton will be treading the cobbles as Sean Tully in Coronation Street for at least another year.
Cotton revealed the news on Twitter on Monday (May 23), along with the bittersweet revelation that it was his final day filming with departing co-star Jason Grimshaw actor Ryan Thomas.
"Bittersweet day today. I agreed my 14th year on @itvcorrie, but also worked for the last time with my bro, @ryanjamesthomas. Love you Ryno," Cotton wrote.

Ryan Thomas will film his own final scene in due course, but obviously shooting one last time with long-time co-star Antony Cotton made for an emotional environment at Corrie on Monday.
Cotton made his first appearance on Coronation Street in 2003 and has gone through a dramatic friendship with Violet Wilson, surviving the brutal mini-bus crash and a secret romance with vicar Billy Mayhew.
Coronation Street continues with shocking episodes all this week on ITV.

Antony Cotton on Sean and Billy's break-up - "I'm sure I will get lots of sympathy"
There's relationship heartache on the horizon for Sean in next week's episodes
http://images.radiotimes.com/namedim...nal/111510.JPG
By David Brown
Sean Tully is to be left gobsmacked next week when boyfriend Billy Mayhew calls off their trip to London and dumps him - all so he can be with Todd Grimshaw.
"It's all very sudden. Sean is telling Billy that he's packed some Prosecco for the train and Billy sees Todd standing in the doorway of the florists. And that's the catalyst which makes him realise he can’t go with Sean. Sean is absolutely floored by it," says actor Antony Cotton.
Billy has recently been seen fighting his feelings for Todd, but the pair are to give into their passion in upcoming scenes - all of which leaves Sean very much out in the cold at No 11 Coronation Street. Adds Cotton:
"Sean, Todd and Jason are like brothers, so it is going to be very difficult for Sean living with Todd. I have filmed some later scenes and they are very emotional. It is going to have major implications for his relationship with the whole family.
"The brother code has been broken by Todd. That said, I don’t think he has done it in a deliberate or dastardly way. He is genuinely sorry it has happened. It has massive implications for every rock-solid foundation Sean has had for the last 14 years."

For the eternally romantic Sean, his break-up with Billy is set to hit him hard and Cotton is in no doubt that viewers will be on his character's side during this period of relationship heartache:
"I'm sure I will get lots of sympathy. Poor Daniel Brocklebank [Billy] - he is going to get some grief as he’s the one that has done the dirty on Sean.
"Sean absolutely thought that Billy was the one. Sean is Raquel, so he thinks everyone is the one, he is a romantic. Often he has been the orchestrator of his own downfall but not on this occasion.
"He wasn’t needy or clingy. He was confused because he knew something wasn’t right but he thought he had solved that problem. He has been happier with Billy than with anyone before."
And how does the actor feel about the end of his working relationship with co-star Brocklebank: "I love working with Dan - and hopefully Sean and Billy can be friends in the future. He is a generous actor and we have a great laugh."

Not a nice way to be dumped. Sean shoukd move out .....maybe move in with norriss
Yes, he does. The next lodger could be Michael as things must get a bit tense in the Grimshaw house with Phelan having got his size 12 firmly under the table :p
Emily has gone around 6 months now ... hope she is back and that it was not serious health problems of the actress that made her need a break :(
Micheal is moving in with Andy
Coronation Street's Sean Tully will be left heartbroken next week as he uncovers Todd Grimshaw and Billy Mayhew's secret romance.
Billy (Daniel Brocklebank) ended his relationship with Sean last month after developing strong feelings for Todd. The pair gave into their feelings soon after, but have been keen to keep Sean in the dark until the break-up isn't so raw.
After Eileen discovers the truth in an upcoming episode, the duo will realise that they can't keep up the pretence for much longer and Billy promises Todd that he will break the news to Sean once Kylie's funeral is out of the way.
However, the decision will be taken out of their hands when Sean catches them sharing a tender moment at Kylie's send-off and realises the truth.
When Eileen learns that Jason has been involved in an accident abroad, Sean heads to Kylie's funeral to inform Todd of the news. However, he is devastated when he spots Todd and Billy together, leaving them with some serious explaining to do.
In the vestry, Billy tells Sean how sorry he is for the hurt he's caused but insists that he and Todd are in love.
Unable to deal with the heartbreak, Sean finds it increasingly difficult to live with Todd as he starts making bitchy remarks about him over the breakfast table the following day.
To make matters worse, Phelan causes even more animosity as he goads Sean and lies that Billy spent the night with Todd at Number 11 with him in the next room.
When Sean later returns home, he is incensed to find Todd and Billy all loved-up on the sofa and rants at them for carrying on under his roof. Sean then directs his anger on to Eileen, insisting that she will have to choose who she wants to live with.
As an emotional Sean pushes Eileen to choose between him and Todd, Phelan makes matters worse by pointing out that blood is thicker than water. Phelan soon stirs up more trouble when he lets slip that Eileen knew about Todd and Billy's relationship but chose to keep quiet.
Devastated, Sean packs his bags and leaves, while a guilty Eileen heads off to Thailand to support Jason. With the family in tatters, it looks like Todd may have finally got the measure of Phelan when he spots his triumphant smile amid all the arguing.
Todd later tells Phelan that he knows he got Sean out of the house on purpose, but will the villain be fazed?
Coronation Street airs these scenes next week on ITV.

The spoiler pic is the perfect example for why I prefer Tilly over Robron these days. It's the little things, like the touches, the longing looks etc. In this case I know it's to further a plot, but still. I love the fact that they're so affectionate. They clearly care about each other and are very much in love (even if they haven't used the big L word yet). I almost feel bad for Sean. He's an annoying character, but he doesn't deserve to find out this way. Billy should have told him the truth as soon as he got back.
I should have probably linked the pic since I just realized that it's not already included in this thread. This is the pic I used as an example for why I prefer Tilly over Robron: http://digitalspyuk.cdnds.net/16/29/...ly-sean-01.jpg
Antony Cotton signs on to Coronation Street for at least another year!
Antony says he’s filming a juicy new plot, adding: “I’m doing the beginnings at the moment. It’s very, very new and very different”...
He tells Talk TV he’s “very, very, very happy” to have renewed his contract again. No wonder – when he joined the street 15 years ago he thought he’d only be there for three months.
Antony, 42, is now one of the soap’s longest-serving actors.
He says: “I genuinely thought I’d be here for three months.
“I thought that would be really great – regular work then off to the next job. So I’m amazed it’s 15 years. I’m proud of Sean. He’s been a beautiful part of my life for so long now.”
Antony says he’s filming a juicy new plot, adding: “I’m doing the beginnings at the moment. It’s very, very new and very different.”
Machinist Sean arrived in 2003 as one of Corrie’s first gay characters.
I’m often asked where Eileen is,” smiles Antony. “It takes a shorter time to pretend it’s real than to explain I don’t really know because I don’t live with her in real life. I just go, ‘She’s at the bingo’. They say, ‘All right, give her my love’ and I go, ‘Will do’.”
Antony says he always gets a friendly reaction on the streets because Sean is so likeable. He says: “I’m not one of those people where women batter you with their handbag because you’re a philanderer or murderer.”

is it connected to his new job?
Future scenes will see Underworld employee Sean find himself homeless and living from a tent in woodland – and things then get even more bleak when a group of strangers accost and attack him.
Recently Sean has moved from several homes, having lived both with the Grimshaws and also with Tyrone and Fiz. It is currently unknown how he will find himself homeless and how bad things get.
Sean will be living with a homeless girl and the attack happens in public toilets but viewers will have to wait and see what happens next
