VINNIE Jones has been offered $1MILLION to team up with his old footie rival Paul Gascoigne in Celebrity Big Brother.
The ex-Wimbledon hardman, now a movie star, was contacted by show producers with a lucrative offer to "keep an eye" on former England hero Gazza in a ratings-winning ploy for the BB house.
And Vinnie, famously photographed grasping Gazza's tackle when his Crazy Gang side played Newcastle in 1988, has told chiefs he will sign the £620,000 deal tonight.
A pal of Vinnie, 44, told The Sun: "He's been offered a massive chunk of cash.
"He was planning to take January off - but $1million for three weeks' work was difficult to turn down.
"He is filming again from February so the show fits in perfectly. He's laughing that he's the Million Dollar Man.
"It doesn't even sound like work to Vinnie if it means a chance of three weeks with Gazza. They go way back and still keep in touch."
Gazza, 42, has had a series of consultations with a psychologist to ensure he can cope with the pressure of the Channel 4 show.
The star, who also played for Lazio, Rangers and Spurs, has battled drink and drugs since hanging up his boots in 2004.
Meanwhile ex-bricklayer Vinnie has built up a fortune and moved to the Hollywood Hills after a string of roles in blockbusters including the third X-Men film.
The star - whose son Aaron is scheduled for a tour of duty in Afghanistan with the Household Cavalry in the New Year - is also expected to donate a percentage of his fee to Help for Heroes.

The wannabes, who will step inside the house on Sunday, have asked for a string of *bizarre luxury items.
They include a mosquito net, 500 mini-candles, fresh flowers, cleaning wipes and even a dog.
But the stars, rumoured to include Alex Reid, 34, and Heidi Fleiss, 44, have also asked for a butler to serve them and a fridge full of champagne.
Ice queen Heidi left bosses bemused when she asked for a webcam so she could watch her birds.
She keeps a house full of macaws, cockatiels and parrots and hates being away from them.
A show source said: “We are used to some weird demands but this lot are more bonkers than usual.
“I think some of them believe it’s going to be a holiday camp.”

The hunky Swede, who scored hits with Now You’re Gone and All I Ever Wanted, will be the second contestant with the condition.
Musician Pete Bennett, 27, won Big Brother in 2006 after viewers saw him shouting “w***ers” at fellow housemates.
Basshunter, real name Jonas Altberg, 25, was diagnosed with Tourette’s as a child and revealed in a recent interview that it led to him being picked on at school. Jonas said: “I did have a really rough time at school. There was a lot of bullying.
“I didn’t have many friends and spent a lot of time alone.
“I’ve learned how to take control over it.
‘“You could spend a week with me, 24/7 and not know I have it.
“I’ve learned how to feel when it’s coming and push it back. That took years of training.

Kate Price's boyfriend Alex Reid reportedly fought with her ex Dane Bowers at her fairytale themed New Year party.
The pair became embroiled in a war of words after Bowers, 30, accused Reid, 34, of cashing in on the former glamour model's fame.
Reid, who was dressed as a gladiator, became so enraged that he then threw a punch at the former boy-band singer, who was in a Zorro costume, according to The Mirror.
A spokesperson for Price confirmed that a brawl ensued, but insisted that the party was a success. A party guest said that the two men "were eyeballing each other" from the moment they first met.
"Dane called Katie a stupid b***h for letting Alex walk all over her and told everyone he had always been Katie's true love," the reveller said.
"That wound Alex up into a horrendous rage and he launched at Dane screaming, 'She's my girlfriend now, not yours'. They started scrapping on the floor in front of guests. It was like they were sparring for her love."
Police were not called to the incident, which took place at about 5am at Jordan's Surrey home.

Celebrity Big Brother was on the brink of imploding last night, with less than 24 hours to go before the new series, as Channel 4 found itself unable to confirm the line-up of contestants.
The TV network held crisis talks all day yesterday after two of the contestants expected to appear in the reality show were involved in a New Year punch-up.
Cagefighter Alex Reid, the boyfriend of glamour model Katie Price, allegedly attacked her ex-partner, pop star Dane Bowers, at 5am on New Year’s Day after an all-night party.
Yet, in what appeared to be a cynical bid for viewers, Channel 4 yesterday gave the go-ahead for both men to take part, despite concerns that the show, hosted by Davina McCall, would dissolve into chaos if they continued their feud on-screen.
Both Bowers, 30, and Reid, 34, were taken in chauffeur-driven cars to a hotel in Hertfordshire close to Elstree Film Studios, the site of the Big Brother house.
The two men are among a group of models, TV personalities and actors hired by Channel 4 in the latest parade of housemates desperate for cash and publicity.
The show has suffered a series of setbacks before tonight’s launch, with producers having to find a succession of replacements as their first-choice candidates pulled out.
First, Eighties pop star Boy George had to withdraw after the Probation Service ruled that being on Big Brother would breach the terms of his early release from prison, after his conviction for assault and false imprisonment of a male escort.
Next, former England footballer Paul Gascoigne was pursued by producers, but last week revealed he had decided not to take part.
Even TV astrologer Russell Grant, who has not appeared regularly on television since Big Brother began ten years ago, rejected an offer from the producers to go on the show.
In previous years, Channel 4 has offered journalists an advance list of housemates, on condition of signing a legal agreement not to reveal their identities until the series began.
The network began the same process 17 days ago, yet until last night had failed to provide details of any contestants.
This year’s housemates are rumoured to include footballer Vinnie Jones, Hollywood actor Stephen Baldwin – veteran of a string of US reality shows – Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood’s former lover Ekaterina Ivanova, Donald Trump’s ex-wife Ivana, actress Stephanie Beacham and glamour model Nicola Tappenden.
Yesterday, Channel 4’s head of programming, Julian Bellamy, held talks with senior colleagues about the line-up and both Bowers and Reid were contacted for assurances about their behaviour.
Ms Price, 31, also known as Jordan, had invited both men to a fancy-dress party at her Surrey mansion to celebrate the New Year.
Bowers, who had chart success with Another Level in the Nineties, tried to rekindle his relationship with the model.
He and Reid are believed to have argued at the party, but tension erupted into violence at 5am when Bowers tried to go back into the house to collect a mobile phone.
Reid is said to have blocked his way, and Bowers to have used insulting words. Reid is then said to have punched Bowers.
A source said: ‘It’s a conundrum for Channel 4. There’s no doubt that some viewers will tune in hoping that Bowers and Reid will have a fight on television for them.
‘It was always going to be prickly between them, living in the same house, but this fight ramps up the tension.
'But Channel 4 are also petrified of the possible consequences if things get out of hand. There was a fight on the standard version of Big Brother a few years ago and they were on the verge of pulling the programme off air.
‘It would be a total disaster for them to have to pull Celebrity Big Brother halfway through, especially because it’s the last one they’re doing.’
In 2004, Hertfordshire Police mounted an investigation after housemates Victor Ebuwa and Emma Greenwood had to be pulled apart by security guards during a row.
The programme was taken off air for several hours and was close to being cancelled completely over the bust-up.
Channel 4 announced last year that it was cancelling Big Brother after ten years. Executives insisted that falling viewing figures were not the reason, although last year’s series was watched by barely two million viewers an episode, compared to ten million at its peak.
A Big Brother source said: ‘Channel 4 authorises every single housemate. Each one of the celebrities is given very clear guidance on the standards of behaviour that are expected of them.’

Last night's Celebrity Big Brother launch show peaked with 6.72m (24.1%) for Channel 4, early viewing figures show.
The launch of the seventh and final series, which saw celebrities including Stephen Baldwin, R&B singer Sisqó and former Coronation Street actress Stephanie Beacham enter the BB house, averaged 5.91m (21%) for Channel 4 between 9pm and 10.15pm, peaking with an impressive 6.72m (24.1%) at 9.55pm.
Last year the opening show, which aired Friday, January 2, 2008, was seen by 5.27m (21.8%) across the same timeslot.
E4's spinoff show Celebrity Big Brother's Big Mouth followed the main show with 505k (2.8%) over an hour.
