i agree, shes brilliant! and i loved the car journey, her and pam and mick in the back seat, i really love it.
I loved it :D great start to the series
i agree, i think its good as sometimes there can be too much of a good things, look at shameless, and i do think 3 is a good number, 2s a bit short but three is usually about right.
I loved the bit at the beginning with Smithy and Pam and Mick walks in "not this again, third time this week" and Pam goes off about how there son has emigrated to another country. I love ALison Steadman, shes so brilliant,
I keep forgetting its back on, need to catch up!!
Awww its so funny :D
oooo, what's occcurin'? :D
loved it when nessa and smithy were protective of their food and wouldnt let anyone have a bit of there curries
i know, they are made for each other, i loved them drunk! You would just want to be a member of that family.
the text bit was so funny at the end
after smithy made such a song and dance about the own curry bit- he was so eyeing up nessa's!
So what was the text bit about?? It really confused me haha
lol they just all text each other in a circle about smithy and nessa
Anyone else think it's silly how they are releasing this series on DVD on Monday, with only 2 EPISODES in to the series!!!!!

BBC slammed for releasing Gavin & Stacey DVD before show has finished TV run
A BBC Worldwide spokesman said it wanted to cash in on the 'Christmas gifting season' to make a profit for the BBC, 'which will benefit the licence fee payer'. Of course it will
DVDs of Pride and Prejudice and Mistresses have also been released in this way.
Last month a BBC Trust report promised to rein in activities of its commercial arm following anger when it bought travel publisher Lonely Planet for £90million.
Former deputy prime minister John Prescott is to make a cameo appearance in BBC comedy Gavin and Stacey.
Character Nessa Jenkins - played by co-writer Ruth Jones - has referred to him several times as one of her old flames.
Now he is set to appear at the wedding of Nessa and current love Dave Coaches in the last episode of the show's third and final series on New Year's Day.
Confirming the news on Twitter, Mr Prescott said: "Now you know what's occurin' on Jan 1!"
Nessa, known for her "what's occurin'" catchphrase, has talked about having "full use of the one of the Jags", referring to Mr Prescott's infamous love of upmarket cars.
After falling pregnant in the show, she even expressed regret that he was not the baby's father.
But the Labour MP is only one of a string of famous lovers Nessa tells tales about.
Actor Nigel Havers, comedian Russell Brand and all the members of Welsh band Goldie Lookin' Chain are former conquests, she claims.
Mr Prescott will appear in the show on BBC1 on 1 January.

I love how they always refer to Neil the baby. So are Smithy and Nessa going to sail off together or will she marry Dave next week?
Last episode tonight :(
Nooooo! DVD boxset is winging its way to me, but in the meantime, I'll be heartbroken!
bit of a lacklustre ending, but it was a nice final scene. it's a shame it's the end for gavin & stacey :(
haha the wedding cart!
I reckon they need to do another special, maybe next Christmas or something, with their baby!!
I think I am just wishful thinking here.
I did like the end of this series, it was a nice way to end.
Didn't think it was as good as it could have been; maybe I now have too high hopes for it. Loved the wedding cart though!
I enjoyed it. Liked the the jump forward at the end.
'what's occuring'

Loved how Nessa kissed Gwen and the wedding cart.

to say the least! oh the dress... we laughed at how she looked somewhat alien like... I like fthe bit about the black nails too- are you sure you want them black?!
It was an interesting choice to say the least

We started series one again last night forgot how brilliant it was.
Larry Lamb has suggested that Gavin & Stacey will return for a Christmas special.
Lamb, who played Gavin's father Mick in the sitcom, explained that viewers will want to know what happens to the characters.
According to the Daily Mail, he said: "There will be a Christmas special. Clearly the audience loves it and I would be very surprised if it did not come back for a Christmas episode.
"Viewers will want to know what happens to them all. I would hate to see it just die."
Meanwhile, a BBC source reportedly said that it would like some more one-off editions of the show "as a treat".
Lamb's fellow cast members have previously ruled out further episodes of the comedy, which finished on New Year's Day.
