I don't think Jean abused him....I think he just couldn't cope with her behaivour from her illness, and ran off to the army.

Oh yeah I do! He strung him upside down by his legs and he was going to kill him but he didn't...he just drove off and left him..maybe the guy never escaped and so Sean kind of accidentaly killed him?
