That would be good, as if I did have to run off to sort out littley, I'd hate for people to think I was cheating or something and blaming my little man for it.

I wouldn't have a clue what my specialist subject would be though...:hmm: Will have to have a scratch of the old grey matter I think...

If it's their specialist subject they should have the knowledge to answer the questions. There will be a bit of ley way (sp?) but if it's taking someone 30 seconds - a minute to answer each question it is obvious there is some cheating going on.

We all take into considerqation the length of a question, for example one that requires more of an answer to be typed we would allow more time for etc.

We are human and understanding, not complete evil *******s :D :lol:

It depends on how many are sent each day, some days more than others, we will always make sure it doesnt take up more than an hour of your time. If it goes over, we will save them until the next day.

Oh right, that makes more sense now. I just got the impression that you had to be able to get online everyday you're in it, which would be too much of a tie to me, and loads of other members, i'd imagine.

Naturally if you have comitments and we are told in advance we will allow for this. Like if you had work one day or a family event we will bulk up your questions for the following day, that is not a problem.

But if its a continual thing, like someone says they are on holiday or something then that wouldnt be allowed for. As one it means they are keeping the seat without answering and secodnly they should know in advance if they wont be around for a considerable length of time, so shouldnt really be trying to take part at that stage.

If that was the case we'd work around it, we wouldn't be that strict, we allow some leyway. The questions arent going to be one after another after another, bombarment like, it wont be.

Before each question we will say "Are you ready?" Until you say you are we wont ask it, this allows you to go for toilet breaks, answer door or whatever. Naturally you cant cheat in this time becuase you wouldnt know what the next question is.

Thanks hun - that makes a lot of sense. Will have to start thinking of what my specialist subject could be now, just in case though Lea could be right and it could be something like "The Characters of 3 CSI Genres" or something like that....:hmm:

even though its a live quiz and on msn therefore we cant see it as its happening does the quiz that occured that day on msn get put on the thread for everyone else to see.

oh another thing can the person who is in the seat choose when they go on the seat and can they leave at any time or once there there do they have to stay for the whole hour or until they get a question wrong

Is there a limit to the amout of questions you can put forward to be asked to the person in the seat? Like, so many a day, week, or whatever?

you can put forward as many as you like, but we make it fair

for example say Person A sent us 10, Person B 2, Person C 3, we would do it in the following way: A, B, C, A, B C etc just to make it fair

there's no limit on how many questions you can send in, the more you send in each day the more chance you have of potentially taking the seat.
