I don't want to get involved in the bitching but Gilly has been here for a long time (years) and has always used the same name. And it's pronounced Jilly I think (as in short for Gillian).

She was banned for rudeness and flouting forum rules and immediately joined under another username (after which she was banned a second time).

I'm quite a bit older than Gilly and am a Neighbours fan. I think maxxy meant that it's depressing that a 34 year old is so rude and obsessive about it.

Oh I didn't mean it like that haha. Neighbours is for any age group. I just meant it's a bit weird of Gilly to dedicate her life to an on-screen couple that doesn't exist anymore, and depressing that she has nothing better to do. Sorry for the misunderstanding! :thumbsup:

Can we all refrain from the Gilly bashing... She was here and is no longer so lets draw a line under this. This thread also gives a bad impression of the boards that we are a clique and bitch as soon as someone is banned. This leaves a bad impression on newcomers.

Please let keep this thread on a Neighbours topic

I agree, even though I'm guilty as charged. She's angered a lot of people and it can be hard to let go.

Perhaps it'd be better to close the thread since it's specifically about Gilly.
