Because the producer/scriptwriters etc think it makes dramatic viewing .... personally, I would like for soaps to show more couples deal with any problems without seeking comfort in somebody else's arms but to work it out somehow, maybe with help from a marriage guidance counsellor but please, please .. no cheating every 5 minutes because things are a bit difficult at home :wall:
