Emmerdale Spoilers 3rd - 7th February 2014

Coming up on Emmerdale, Declan Macey and Charity Sharma continue to mix business with pleasure in the aftermath of their successful scheming over the Home Farm fire.

When Declan (Jason Merrells) finally receives his insurance payout over the blaze, he starts making plans for the future. This includes telling Charity that all of the money is accounted for, so he can't pay her anything.

Charity rages over the businessman's broken promise and they argue angrily, but Declan then presents her with a tempting alternative offer.

Declan suggests to Charity that she could be a partner in his business, meaning that a third of everything would be hers.

Recent events have proved to Declan that he and Charity make an excellent team, and when they soon succumb to their romantic desires, it seems that she agrees…

Monday

Moira tries to be supportive of James, doing her best to line him up for the deal with Charlotte. However, when Moira then announces that she's not interested in being part of it, James is flummoxed.

Charlotte insists they don't need Moira for the deal to go ahead, but James seems fixated on getting her involved. Does James have a hidden agenda, and will he be able to sway Moira?

Meanwhile, Sam returns, but he remains frosty with his family and makes it clear that he's not sticking around. Jai is surprised to see Sam and struggles to keep his patience when Sam tells him that he has no leads on Rachel and Archie. He begins to get suspicious when Sam asks for more money, but has no choice but to give him what he wants.

Later, Charity is relieved to hear that Sam hasn't found Rachel, but is worried at his determination to carry on looking. Soon afterwards, Charity arrives at the Dingles' just in time to see money exchanging hands between Sam and Jai. Realising what is going on, she desperately tries to explain to Sam that he is being used and that Jai will undoubtedly stitch Rachel up should she return. Will Sam be swayed?

Elsewhere, while Ruby remains upset that Bob still thinks she's guilty of stealing, Brenda's guilt is rising. Brenda attempts to resolve the situation by planting the stolen purse in the café for Bob to find. Bob is mortified when he comes across it. Later, an apprehensive Bob attempts to apologise to Ruby, but how forgiving will she be?

Also today, as Bernice fumes about her failed date and scrutinises Charlotte as she flirts with James, Nicola is left feeling bad for her and thinks internet dating could be the way forward.

Tuesday

James tries to persuade Moira to meet Charlotte with him, but she reiterates her choice to pass on this deal. Pete tries to convince James to go it alone, but is then shocked when James lies to Charlotte, telling her that Moira is interested but otherwise engaged. He says that she has given him authority to talk on behalf of the pair of them. Pete worries this could come back to bite them.

Later at the pub, James flirts with Charlotte, making sure Cain is watching. Cain is left thoughtful when James leads Charlotte out of the pub, wondering if he's got his feelings for Moira wrong.

At the same time, Moira confides in Vanessa that she and James have history, but Vanessa is adamant she shouldn't lose a good deal over it. With Cain now seemingly put at ease and Moira secretly still interested in the deal, the question remains - has James just played a few good moves?

Meanwhile, Charity remains determined to get Sam to see sense. She confronts Jai and accuses him of using Sam. Jai admits this is true - he simply wants Archie back and to hell with everyone else, including Rachel. Unbeknown to Jai, Charity has recorded his words and later plays it to Sam, who crumbles on hearing Jai's true intentions.

Unfortunately, Charity's actions backfire when Sam suggests that he needs to find Rachel more so now than ever, so Jai can't get to her first. But with Samson upset at having to leave and the family's continued pressure on Sam, will he finally concede defeat? And if he does, will he pour that energy into getting revenge on Declan instead?

Elsewhere, Sandy suspects that Sean is still sweet on Belle.

Also today, Leyla is concerned when Priya deflects from eating.

Wednesday

Megan, Declan and Robbie discuss new beginnings as they stand at the burnt-out wreck of Home Farm, but Declan is anxious about costs, conscious of his promise to Charity. Charity is furious when she finds out they've already received their insurance payout and is apoplectic when Declan confesses that all the money is accounted for and he can't pay her anything.

Charity and Declan row angrily, but Charity's anger turns to shock when he offers to make her a partner, meaning a third of everything will be hers. He thinks they could be a killer team. Soon anger turns to passion as they both succumb to their desires, kissing passionately. It looks like it's a deal.

Meanwhile, Leyla is determined to keep up with a super-fit Priya as she joins her for a jog. Priya goes over on her ankle but is desperate to carry on and gets frustrated with Leyla and David as they try and look after her. Later, David doesn't know what to believe when Leyla voices her concerns about Priya having an eating disorder.

Elsewhere, James returns after a night with Charlotte, telling Moira and Cain that his business deal is looking good. Later, James is secretly delighted when Moira opts to ignore Cain's advice and be part of the deal with Charlotte. In the pub, Dan encourages James to fight for the woman of his dreams, unaware they're talking about Moira. Dan is soon alarmed to realise that Moira is the woman James has fallen for when she arrives to celebrate their business deal.

Also today, Sandy agrees to help with Sean's film project.

Finally, Marlon and Nicola decide to find Bernice a man and create her an online profile.

Thursday

At a meal to celebrate Georgia's return from Canada, Leyla's suspicions are seemingly confirmed when Priya makes her excuses and abandons her plate of food.

Leyla lays her suspicions on the line to Priya and they argue, but are embarrassed to realise that everyone is watching them.

Meanwhile, Sarah and Debbie are disgusted at Charity and Declan's displays of affection, and Debbie predicts that Charity is heading for trouble. Charity has it out with Jai, who is shocked to hear evidence that she had recorded him slagging off Rachel. Charity warns him to leave Sam and the rest of her family alone.

Later, Charity urges Declan to tell Megan that she's now a partner in their business. Jai attempts to talk a distraught Sam round, but Sam has made up his mind. Charity feels guilty when Sam tells her that she's the only one he can trust. She persuades Declan to give Sam his job back, but how will Megan take the news that Charity is not only a business partner but is moving in too?

Elsewhere, Cain is suspicious to hear Dan saying no to a pint with James.

Also today, Marlon and Nicola enhance Bernice's dating profile, as she hasn't received any interest.

Finally, Brenda is sad as she sees photos of Georgia's time in Canada with Molly, Ruby is still bitter about Bob's theft accusation, while David is still worried about Priya eating but Alicia explains that it will be Leyla just stirring it up to create drama.

Leyla lies about why she and Priya were arguing. Feeling humiliated, Priya leaves in tears and a guilty Leyla follows. Leyla is shocked by Priya's threat to turn the tables on her if she dares to tell anyone about her problem. Priya insists that she's not harming her baby and Leyla is dismayed to see the depth of her misery. Leyla tells Alicia her concerns about Priya, but will she believe her?

Later, Priya takes a plate of food upstairs with her and battles with herself to eat it. Alicia relays Leyla's fears to David but warns him not to go blundering in. That evening, Jai comforts a tearful Priya, but doesn't see how badly she's struggling with herself. Will she be able to open up to him?

Meanwhile, James tells an impressed Moira about the business meeting at Fulton Manor, saying that he'll ask if Adam can come with them. Later, Dan is wary to hear that Moira and James are stopping over in Preston, conflicted by his loyalties to Cain. Dan is relieved when James tells him that his unrequited love was never Moira, but his relief is short lived when he then hears James telling Adam that he's not allowed to go to the meeting, convinced James is set on wangling himself a night alone away with Moira. Could this spell trouble?

Elsewhere, Megan senses that Charity and Declan are hiding something, unhappy about Charity getting a third of the company.

Also, Vanessa tells Paddy that he's not allowed to keep the pig.

Finally, Georgia thinks she has lost her watch.

Friday

Moira and James are excited about the possibility of landing a new contract and it seems Charlotte and Tim are impressed with what they've seen at Butlers, inviting them to carry on negotiations at the hotel. At the same time, Dan fears that he's made a big mistake after letting slip to Cain about James's feelings for Moira. Cain races to the hotel, anxious to get there before anything happens between Moira and James.

With work off the cards until the morning, Moira looks forward to a relaxing evening at the hotel, however she's unaware of James's plans for the night as he blows out Charlotte to spend more time with her. The relaxed atmosphere soon turns uncomfortable when James brings up their past affair. What will Cain walk in on?

Meanwhile, a weak Priya suddenly gets painful stomach cramps. Rishi tries to control his panic as he finds her scared and doubled over in pain and insists on getting her straight to hospital. David is also concerned to learn that Priya has been taken unwell. Upon her return, after being given the all clear, a determined Priya decides to visit Leyla to put her straight on a couple of things, but is torn as Leyla explains that she can only help if she lets her. Will Priya finally open up to her, and would Leyla truly keep her secret from David and Alicia if she did?

Elsewhere, Brenda has an overwhelming urge to steal.

Also today, Paddy adds two piglets to his collection, but Rhona insists they won't be staying.

Finally, Bernice tells Nicola and Marlon to take her dating profile down.
