Reading between the lines I thought the same thing. Charity will blackmail Rachel into leaving in exchange for getting Sam off.
I am really hating Charity at the moment!! Making out she's the victim because Jai cheated when she cheated on him aswell. I hope her whole family find out she set Sam up and disown her.
Rachel don't die
I do hope before she leaves she tapes Charity admitting to setting Sam up and gives it to Cain or Zak

Over on Emmerdale, Charity Sharma's ruthless scheming pays off as Sam Dingle is arrested and charged for the Home Farm fire.
Sam (James Hooton) and his fiancée Rachel Breckle are happily discussing going away to get married when a police car suddenly pulls up to take him into custody.
A panicked Rachel (Gemma Oaten) urges Sam to run, but when he tries to do so, he falls and hurts his ankle.
Sam then tries to fight back against the police by wielding a fallen branch like a club, but it's not long before they manage to take control of the situation and lead him away.
While Sam has already been arrested once before over the fire, this time the authorities believe they have enough evidence to charge him with arson…

Monday
Sam is pleased when Rachel changes her mind and wants to discuss going away to get married. However, suddenly a police car pulls up and a panicked Rachel tells Sam to run. With the police in pursuit, Sam falls and hurts his ankle. He wields a fallen branch like a club before being wrestled into submission. Rachel is distraught as he's led to a police car.
At the police station, Sam is told about the new evidence they've discovered regarding his jumper at Home Farm. The police are surprised when Sam accuses Declan of setting him up, but despite his accusations Sam is helpless when he's charged on suspicion of arson.
Meanwhile, Harriet tells Bob about a bereavement counselling service she runs at the church that she thinks could benefit Brenda. Bob mentions it to Brenda, but she takes it the wrong way, accusing Bob of being sick of her going on about Gennie. Bob is later relieved when she has a change of heart and agrees to go to one of the sessions, even if it is just to appease him.
Elsewhere, Priya feels guilty as she feeds Jai and Victoria lies to cover her eating disorder. Later, Leyla and Priya find common ground over David.
Tuesday
The Dingles are stunned and devastated when Sam is told that he will be remanded in custody until his next court date with no option of bail. When Rachel admits she'd do anything to get Sam out of prison, Charity has an idea.
Later, Charity stuns Rachel when she admits to being the one who framed Sam and offers her a way to get him out of prison. Realising Charity has covered all bases and she is in fact trapped, Rachel knows Sam's fate is in her hands…
Meanwhile, at the bereavement counselling session, Brenda opens up to the group but is disappointed that she doesn't feel any better for it. In David's shop, Jude questions an edgy Brenda about Harriet's performance at the session, as she looks at some tights. With her mind elsewhere, a flustered Brenda makes her excuses and rushes away. Outside, Brenda is shocked when she realises she has taken the tights. She's about to turn back, but decides not to, exhilarated by her sense of control.
Elsewhere, Alicia warns Leyla not to wind David up if she wants to build bridges with Jacob and he reluctantly allows her to work in the shop in a bid to stop her spending time with Jacob.
Also today, Nicola is worried about Megan when she admits to her fears about being left alone.
Finally, Harriet is nervous when Jude tells her that he's leaving on Thursday and she's on her own.
Wednesday
Charity tells an alarmed Declan about her plan to get rid of Rachel and free Sam at the same time. Declan leaves Charity in no doubt that if it all goes wrong, he will be taking her down with him. At the same time, Rachel confides in Ali, telling her what Charity has said. Ali is furious and demands they go to the police, but Rachel knows Charity holds all the cards. Will Rachel save Sam at any cost?
Later, when Charity manages to manipulate the situation further, will Rachel go ahead and make a deal with the devil?
Meanwhile, David makes it clear that he's not happy with Leyla still being around, while Alicia is keen to keep the peace. Leyla tries to do and say the right things, wishing she was part of the family unit.
Elsewhere, Brenda returns from a shopping trip in a more positive mood, laden with shopping bags. She gives a new handbag to Kerry, telling her she bought it on impulse and can't find the receipt. But later when Georgia recognises Kerry's bag and Brenda tries to play down its cost, Kerry becomes suspicious of Brenda's behaviour.
Also today, Harriet continues to try and drum up some interest in her clubs but doesn't have much success. She asks Ashley for advice on how to get through to her parishioners
Thursday
The solicitor fails to reassure Rachel and the Dingles as he warns them that Sam is looking at seven years in prison at a minimum. Will an emotional Rachel finally admit defeat and surrender to Charity's wishes? As Charity outlines the plan, it seems that way…
Later, Charity is celebratory as she tells an impressed Declan that everything is coming together.
Meanwhile, with Jacob pretending to be ill, Leyla offers to look after him. Alicia agrees, yet it's awkward as David and Leyla can't resist sniping at each other. Alicia tells David that he needs to trust Leyla. Later, Leyla realises she has been played and that Jacob is not unwell, but finds herself covering to an angry Alicia, who is frustrated at having to play the bad guy yet again. When David realises what has been going on, he is quick to stick the boot in with Leyla. With Jacob abusing his power in his dysfunctional family, it seems a few ground rules may be required.
Elsewhere, at Jude's goodbye gathering, Harriet offers Ashley a job as the curate. Ashley is put out by Harriet's offer, but Laurel is quick to point out this could be a good thing for him. Will Ashley reconsider?
Also, Brenda covers her upset as she learns that Georgia has bought a flight ticket for Canada. Later, Georgia almost catches Brenda stealing a tin of beans, but she still manages to slip some veg in her bag as she leaves David's shop.

Ali worries as she suspects that Rachel is about to leave. Ruby's suspicions also grow as she sees Ali and Rachel conspiring. At the same time, Jai naively thinks that he and Rachel have come to an understanding over access with baby Archie.
Later, Rachel is under pressure as Declan and Charity spell out step-by-step what she is to say to the police. Declan goes one step further when he re-enacts the night of the fire so Rachel has the full detail for her story. Rachel is dropped off outside the police station and heads inside…
Meanwhile, Pollard surprises Val with a mini-break. She is delighted until she realises he is coming too. Pollard gets frustrated with Val's evasive attitude and he is still no further with knowing what is wrong.
Elsewhere, Leyla decides to leave the newlyweds to have a night to themselves, but soon she and Priya are bonding when they ridicule David and all his bad habits.

Upset, Alicia decides Leyla should leave and tells David she wants to break the news to her.
