Kylie continues to rant as Leanne orders her out of the Bistro. Gail plays down Kylie's harsh words to a shocked Sally, but she's left unconvinced.
Leanne tries to reason with Kylie by telling her how much Nick's mood swings are already affecting her and this added stress might make him even worse, but can an angry Kylie be trusted with this information?
Meanwhile, alone in the flat, Peter tries to persuade Tina - and himself - that they should keep their distance from now on. Unable to resist each other, they go to kiss but when they hear a key in the door they spring apart. Realising with horror that Tina has left splodges of paint on Peter's shirt, he quickly dives into the bedroom. How will they explain themselves to Carla?
Elsewhere, Hayley and Roy return from her scan and although she suspects her chemo isn't working, she's determined to remain upbeat and enjoy Christmas.
Also, Steve's friend Andrea turns up at The Rovers and Michelle is instantly jealous.
Finally, Sophie announces she'll be spending Christmas helping out in a soup kitchen.

Hour-long episode
Wallowing in her own self pity, David finds Kylie by the canal and persuades her to come back for Christmas dinner. All seems calm at the Platts' until Leanne playfully teases Nick over a cracker joke. Flying into a rage, he slaps her hard across the face.
It's not long before Kylie and David are arguing and she storms off. Kylie is on a mission to get drunk, but what will the night have in store for this vulnerable and emotional girl?
Meanwhile, Roy is thrilled when Hayley gives him a model of the train he drove on their wedding day, but his hopes of a quiet Christmas are shattered when people keep turning up in their droves to offer their festive cheer. Is Roy's perfect last Christmas with Hayley slowly slipping away?
Elsewhere, Carla surprises Peter by handing him a legal document giving him a further 1% of Underworld, making them equal partners. Peter kisses her, but Rob and Tracy are annoyed.
Also today, Sophie and a reluctant Sally head off to the soup kitchen, leaving Tim to prepare Christmas dinner.
Finally, Michelle is left furious with Steve's present.
Friday (1)
Knowing she'll get the results of her scan today, Hayley tries her best to remain upbeat and suggests to Roy that they book a holiday in spring. Roy is reluctant, aware that her results may not be good news.
Full of trepidation, the Croppers nervously brace themselves for the verdict.
Meanwhile, Norris spots Leanne's black eye. She tells him she walked into a door, but Nick steps in and tells him the truth - he hit Leanne because he suffers from rages. It's not long before a shocked Norris is telling the café about Nick's attack. Will Leanne be able to feel safe around her husband?
Elsewhere, Sophie calls into the soup kitchen where Maddie the homeless girl admits stealing Sally's handbag.
Also, Andrea tells Steve she fancies Lloyd.
Friday (2)
Hayley's consultant delivers devastating news. Wanting to take her mind off her cancer, she suggests going to the pantomime but in the queue she ends up breaking down.
Unable to deal with everything life has thrown at her, Hayley lashes out. Is this the end of the road for Hayley and Roy?
Meanwhile, Leanne tells Kylie that her temper and pride are preventing her from moving on in life and she needs to get a grip, but David is left concerned when a despondent Kylie returns to Number 8.
Elsewhere, worried about his uncontrollable burst of rage, Nick makes a decision that pains Leanne.

I can't stand Kylie now. I wish David had a normal decent partner so his life can get some normality.

Coronation Street's Kylie Platt will be forced to spend Christmas night in a police cell as she faces the consequences of her latest bad behaviour.
Kylie (Paula Lane) will cause more problems for herself on December 25 after she struggles to play happy family with David and the rest of the Platts over Christmas dinner at the Bistro.
Still unwilling to make peace with David, erratic Kylie argues with her estranged husband before eventually storming off to the Rovers Return on a mission to get drunk.
Unfortunately for Kylie, her bad attitude causes further tension as she clashes with Tina McIntyre at the pub and ends up getting barred by Liz McDonald.
Outside, the argument escalates further with Kylie lashing out at Tina, leading to her being arrested for assault and hauled off into a cell. Will Kylie show any remorse for her extreme actions, or is her downward spiral far from over?
