Monday
Rhona's heart sinks when she fails to persuade Dr Abbott to prescribe her more of the stronger drugs she craves. Later, shaking and nauseous, she snaps at Leo before dumping him on Laurel, claiming that she has a sickness bug and is not safe to be with him.
Climbing the walls, Rhona is overwhelmed by her symptoms and is worried that she will not be able to cover them when Paddy and Vanessa return. Finally she succumbs, taking drastic action - but she is caught in the act by Vanessa.
Meanwhile, Steve is delighted to learn that Declan has yet to gain planning permission on the new plot of land, but Declan downplays the matter later at the pub when Steve starts asking questions. By Steve's reckoning, Declan will be lucky if he can put up a bird table, much to Cameron's relief. It seems that Cameron can rest easy a little longer about Alex's dead body.
Elsewhere, Megan is desperate to make amends with Ali. Ali is thrown when a lonely Megan becomes emotional, telling her that she would rather be in Ali's shoes than her own. Unbeknownst to the pair, Robbie arrives and listens in to their conversation as Megan continues to open up. When the conversation takes a sudden turn, Robbie interrupts to defend his mum, much to her surprise.
Also today, Priya wants her wedding day to be perfect, but thinks that her dad has ruined her chances of that. She is saddened when Jai tells her that he has never seen Rishi so depressed. Is Priya wavering?
Finally, Alicia struggles to see David and Priya smooching, prompting her to impulsively kiss Dom. However, she seems underwhelmed when Megan asks her about Dom later. With David and Priya's wedding firmly back on, will Alicia ever be able to put her feelings aside for David? Or is this the final straw and a sign to move on?
Tuesday
Rhona attempts to downplay what Vanessa saw the day before, insisting that it was a one-off. However, Vanessa is quick to tell her that stealing drugs from the practice is not the way to deal with it and could get the pair of them struck off - Rhona for her actions and Vanessa for failing to report it.
Later at the vets, Paddy questions Vanessa when he discovers that some Valium has gone missing. Will she tell him the truth, or cover for her friend and at what expense?
Meanwhile, Ali and Sam bicker about the living arrangements and it all seems too much for Samson. Later, Lisa discovers that Samson has snuck in at the Dingles' - he says that he just wants to come home. When Sam and Rachel are brought into the loop, Lisa suggests they should move back to the Dingles' - Rachel and Archie too. With Samson beaming at the idea, they agree. Rachel braces herself for a fall-out - this will not go down well with Jai...
Elsewhere, Chas asks Gennie to help Cameron with the fundraiser, worried that he has taken on too much when he is struggling with his depression. Reluctantly Gennie agrees, but with apparent trepidation. Cameron attempts to cover his frustration when he learns of Gennie's involvement, but Gennie insists there is no need to be polite, she just wants to get this over with.
Also today, Declan suspects that Steve may have put in an objection to his plans. Later, Katie attempts to diplomatically relieve Steve of his post, but he doesn't make it easy for her. Katie stands firm - you cross Declan, you cross her too. In the end, Declan decides that he is going to press on - planning permission or not.
Finally, Alicia and Dom do the walk of shame but Dom is left confused by Alicia's mixed messages, while Priya tells Nikhil that Jai has talked her round when it comes to Rishi.
Wednesday
Vanessa reminds Rhona that she can get her prescribed drugs, but Rhona insists that she doesn't need them. Later, when Paddy tells Marlon and Laurel about Rhona's symptoms, he is thrown when they suggest she may be pregnant! With this in mind, Paddy collars Vanessa. He claims to know what is going on with Rhona, insisting that Vanessa must know too but has been sworn to secrecy. Will Vanessa misunderstand this interrogation and accidentally reveal the truth?
Later, Leo has been left in Rhona's care. Crippled by pain, she is unable to tend to the weeping toddler - is he okay? When Rhona begs Vanessa for drugs, what will she do?
Meanwhile, Dr Abbott appears clueless when Chas thanks her for all that she has done for Cameron. Chas picks up on this and wonders if there is there more to it than doctor-patient confidentiality. Later, people begin to wonder where Cameron is when they cannot find or get hold of him. Gennie confirms to Chas that she thinks he is hiding something, and Chas fears that he may be having an affair after all.
At the same time, over at the festival site, Cameron hides from view to see diggers arrive. Once they begin, they are sure to discover Alex's body. He needs a plan - and fast!
Elsewhere, Jai is seething to discover that Rachel is moving herself and Archie into the Dingles' in order to make way for the Spencers. In front of an audience, Jai confronts her. Hiding behind the lie that Rishi is Archie's father, Jai ultimately accuses Rachel of ripping him off. At their next encounter, it's Rachel's turn to make loaded but concealed comments.
Also today, Debbie is cross to discover that Zak took Sarah and Jack to see Cain the previous week, despite her explicitly telling him not to. Debbie warns Zak that he won't see the children either if he doesn't do as he's told. However, Charity warns Debbie that if she continues to push everyone away, she will have no-one left on her side.
Finally, Steve is beyond miffed when Declan announces that he has got planning permission, but wonders whether he is telling the truth.
Thursday
It's the day of Brenda's fundraiser at the pub, but the day starts gravely for Brenda. At the same time, Cameron the 'organiser' fails to make an appearance. Chas is perplexed over where Cameron could be and keeps trying to call him. Suspecting the worst and aided by Gennie, she begins rifling for evidence.
While this is going on, Cameron heads to the site. After idle chat with the foreman, he waits for the right time. When the coast is clear, Cameron sets about digging a new grave and begins the grim task of dragging Alex's decayed remains over to their new resting place...
Meanwhile, Rhona is doing her best to put Vanessa off the scent. However, Vanessa realises that she has a problem and confiscates her pills.
Elsewhere, at the fundraiser, fun is being had as Rodney and Georgia's relationship continues to blossom.
Also, Debbie agrees to go on a date with Robbie but later stands him up in favour of seeing Dirk, Bernice finds herself in a tight spot, while Charity warns Debbie against getting out of her depth.
Cameron is visibly repulsed and sick as he fills over Alex's new grave, gagging as he works before setting light to Alex's bag and any evidence. He completes the task and breathes a sigh of relief. As he gets into his van ready to return, he dials into his voicemail where he hears a string of panicky messages that have been left over the last few hours.
Dreading what is to come, Cameron is jolted back to the realisation that his problems are far from over. As he drives back along the lanes towards the village, his van veers directly towards a tree. With a moment's reflection, he instinctively revs up the vehicle and ploughs it hard into the trunk…
Meanwhile, no-one at the fundraiser can believe that 'organiser' Cameron hasn't turned up. As the raffle money and donations roll in for Brenda's hospital fund, Chas and Gennie continue to root through the back room to find evidence to nail Cameron's cheating once and for all. With Gennie's support, Chas has decided the time has come for her to end her relationship with Cameron, as he has messed her around too many times. She tells Gennie to help her pack his stuff as she can't face doing it on her own.
Elsewhere, Debbie leaves her kids with Robbie to go and do the deal for knocked-off vodka with lowlife Kirk. Charity is furious, believing that Debbie is prostituting herself when she should be at home with the kids. Debbie is incensed that her mother, who used to be a prostitute herself, dares to comment. However, secretly Debbie is not at ease around Kirk and is simply using him to get the vodka. Could Debbie finally be out of her depth?
Also, Vanessa continues to keep Rhona's pills to help her kick the habit. But when Rhona flies off the handle at her, Vanessa wonders if she could be out of her depth already. Could Rhona be beyond her help?
Finally, Sean and Belle share a quick kiss in the pub as they arrange a date for tomorrow, while Bob tries to explain to Brenda that she cannot continue to hide her emotions from her own daughter.
Friday
Cameron is discovered by police at the crash site and is taken to hospital with some injuries. Back at The Woolpack, his suitcases have been packed ready for his return. Chas has removed her engagement ring, unable to stomach that Cameron did not even come home last night. However, the police soon telephone The Woolpack to explain about the accident. Chas and Gennie rush to Cameron's hospital bedside to see him. Will Chas forgive Cameron?
Later, when Cameron returns to the village, Brenda is beside herself with concern, claiming that he is a saint. However, despite her mother's conviction, Gennie's suspicions of Cameron continue to niggle.
Meanwhile, when Kirk returns to see Debbie armed with a huge bouquet of flowers, she is privately unnerved by his persistence. However, a proud Debbie hides her concerns and ignores the help of those around her when she continues to associate with him. But later that night when a disturbance occurs, could it be Kirk, back to get what he came for?
Elsewhere, Nicola has pinned her hopes on Angelica's ballet skills for her scholarship, but with less than 24 hours until her entrance exam, it is looking a little unrealistic. Nicola is given fresh hope when Steve steps in to help out with the logistics. Could Nicola have a new ally? And what are Steve's motives?
Finally, Val decides that she wants to attract a more exclusive clientele to the B&B and sets Amy the task of attracting new customers.

Rhona (Zoe Henry) is suffering terribly without her regular dose of painkillers, and is unable to function properly as she attempts to look after her young son Leo at home.
When Vanessa (Michelle Hardwick) finds her best friend slumped on the floor in a state, she is startled as Rhona urges her to supply her with pills.
Rhona promises that she can wean herself off the tablets gradually if Vanessa helps her out, but is Vanessa willing to be part of this?
