Ah yes, of course, how silly of me...:hmm:
Well tell Mr Parkerman Junior Harold/Robert to have a lovely birthday!
Well I had haggis, tatties and turnip last night for tea. Yummy scrummy. Hope you all enjoyed your Haggis those who are brave enough to eat it.
I was invited to a Burns Nights once and thoroughly enjoyed, yes, I was a little apprehensive about the haggis but found it to be delicious. :D
I had not haggis last night, but I did have a haggis pizza at lunchtime - does that count?
Haggis Pizza, what ever will they think of next!!!!
It is quite popular at the uni I work in. They serve it once a week in one of the food outlets. For Burns night they added sweet chilli sauce - sounds awful, but actually worked, and made it the same price as the margarita.
I had a family Burn's night the other year with family from South Africa and England - what a laugh! I did the reply from the lassies - in verse. Hearing Tam O'Shanter read in such a variety of accents was hilarious.
Hubby is an Ayrshire lad, very keen on Burn's nights, but yesterday we were at a Richard Thomson concert at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow so didn't do Burns.
