I may be looking at this in totally the wrong way but I think it creates a very bad impresssion as it shows that someone can do something really cruel and hurtful to a supposed friend without any disciplinary action or repercussions because in a couple of weeks it will all be forgotten about, which doesn’t really happen. As you say there has to be shown an element of the real world in these storylines. It does agrivate me that they do these things but don’t carry them through to a sensible and realistic conclusion.:wall:

Hi Don i saw that Pic to of PD behind the bar it was Twitter a bit far yeah but lets all stay postive our Robron back together as a couple and are a family and will be looking after Liv and dealing with her yeah whatever happens our Robron will be dealing anything that comes up togther and the Wedding to come in the summer and im sure we will see more of them planning this time around lets all share some Robron love around:heart:

Hi Matty - that’s right, the boys being back together as a Family and working through everything as a team is the most important thing and let’s see what their plans are for the Wedding.:thumbsup:

I know I keep changing my mind but I really think I should just let whatever PD does or doesn’t do go over my head and not let it bring my mood down and me keep inflicting it on you guys all the time, there’s nothing I or any of us can do about her, if she’s staying or going we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.:hmm:

The main thing and the reason we are here is Robron and what they get up to is all that really counts.:cheer: Their love will conquer all.:heart::love:

hi matty :cheer: no I not seen those soaps but did see something today about rob mallard who played connor he has thing called essential tremor which means he can shake slightly. I know someone with parkinsons and its related to that but fair play to him for speaking out about it.

obvs not mad about the character of connor but rob seems very nice guy and he told the producer of ed who thought it was cos he was nervous in the role

Hi Matty - I used to watch all of those Aussie soaps too. There were some of the Home & Away & Neighbours people in Emmerdale, now and again. It’s funny, my family all live over in Australia but don’t watch them but they do know about the people in Emmerdale & Coronation Street.😁

Faith remembering that Aaron has a second flat. So, Emmerdale haven't forgotten the Mill's second flat. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Faith, or anyone else, does move in, but not the blooming PD.

Is it just me or is Brenda over compensating with her so much in love with Bob actions. It just looks so obvious that she knows somethings up.:hmm:

I wasn’t really listening closely but did Faith say she was going to ask Aaron about the 2nd flat as it was finished now?

Ross is acting this story very well. I can’t believe that Debbie would even go to see Ross and have the nerve to make any comments to him about his appearance or treatment as she was the cause of it.

Harriet is starting to annoy me - she pokes her nose into everything - she hasn’t been reinstated as the Vicar has she yet or has that passed me by?

Missed the boys tonight again, it’s not the same without even a brief appearance of them. :love:

As for Brenda, she is playing with Bob and Laurel, for sure. I'm not sure where she will end up going with this but I suspect that it may well last to the day of their planned wedding. She might leave Bob at the altar or perhaps she will turn up and reveall the Borel affair in front of all the guests, including Bob's children.

yea I think Faith mentioning the other flat was just a marker that its still free

still I don't think that whoever might move in can be the person who turns up from Aaron's past as some people have said elsewhere

Liv cannot rent the flat out on her own and its not Robert's so Aaron would have to know beforehand

No surprise. Though there was a lot of good stuff last year, there was also a lot of rubbish filler nonsense, add to that all the ONS 'rinse and repeat' tedium, over-long tedious story lines, completely unrealistic fantasy, and Emmerdale are off the list.

Emmerdale needs less 'Holyoaks' and more realism with characters that do not continually change personalities and stories that pay at least a little respect to reality and the recent history of the village.

This is maybe the start of Emmerdale shown to be slipping down the popularity ladder a bit. I wonder who could be the cause of that.:hmm:

yea agree eddie and thing is ed can do some sls very well like Aaron's abuse and the Ross one where it seems they put a lot of effort into them but then they fall back to supposed comedy that is sometimes just childish nonsense and endless cheating stuff that is utterly boring and gives the impression they just think "now who can we put together next" without any real thought to the charecter

I think, but I'm not certain, it's for the calender year, January to December.

Ross and Cain was a very thoughtful scene

more stuff like that last year instead of the usual rubbish and they might have had chance of that award

why do ed seem to always have at least a reference to someone having a pee or other bodily function in most eps :confused:

I was thinking exactly the same thing - the rare toilet humour comment is ok in a comedic situation but it’s now at the point where it’s mentioned just for sake of it. :nono:

Apart from the Ross & Moses scene which I thought was nice, Moses smile/laugh was so sweet - there really wasn’t really much else of any great interest in that episode.

Michael Parr is performing brilliantly. Lots of superb acting from him. However, I don't like the character of Ross and I'm not very interested in the story because of that. I just don't care for the man that shot and nearly killed Robert. To make matters even worse for me, I can't stand Debbie and she's the other half of this story line.

I agree I can’t really get invested in this story for those same reasons. 👍

I think Emmerdale Facebook Page has slipped up. They are showing a scene labeled ‘Replay’ between PD & Vic and it hasn’t even aired yet. It makes PD out to be even less likeable - I wouldn’t have thought that was the best thing to do if they are looking for sympathy.:hmm:

I am not keen on Ross character but Michael Parr is doing well and we need more interesting variety from ED with peoples personalities being shown rather than the rinse and repeat affairs and ONS stuff, they have some brilliant actors so they need to use them.
