ive still not written up any of my portfoilo and its due in on friday! im just gonna get up really early tomorrow and not get distracted! not done much else today, apart from i went with my housemate to try and find this place where she was meant to be collecting a book from someone on her course as she thought i had better guesses of directions than she did!
I'm getting silent phone calls. It's starting to annoy me now. They're from a London number, which I don't recognise (don't know anyone who lives in London). Had four in the last ten minutes.
I've done half of one of my assignments. I think I'm going in the wrong direction with this one too :hmm:
Had a bit of email banter with my mum and dad tonight over easter eggs. Was rather funny. Mum has bought easter eggs so she emailed my sisters and asked which they wanted. There were seven eggs listed and only six people in the running, so I asked if I was having two because I'm not with anybody (both sisters have husband/boyfriend). She sent one back saying I'm a cheeky bugger and I'm getting one.
Spoke to my sister who lives near me, she is going down to Leeds tomorrow to say with my other sister as her husband is in hospital and she is going to stay for a few days. My brother in law has problems with his liver due to heavy drinking over the years but last weekend he fell in the house and broke his hip and has been in hospital since it happened. Fingers crossed he is going to be okay he's only 56
Hope he recovers soon and maybe during the stay in hospital they can do something for his liver problems too.
well im up early today so i can do my portfolio! as ive done the research ive worked out i can write about 500 words an hour so i should be finished by midnight lol!
Those calls can make people feel quite frightened. If they persist, call your phone company and let them know or even the police. Nuisance phone calls are a form of harassment. I got them a few years ago and needed to change my home number in the end, got them at work too, got the police involved, they were not able to help but the calls stopped after a while.
My parents are coming on Wednesday to help move some of my stuff out :) I'm not looking forward to deciding what's staying for a few weeks and what can go home with them. Looking around there's not much but by time I've finished sorting the kitchen, wardrobe and under my bed, I won't be able to move
There's a warning to all you guys going to uni in September: only take what you really need, you won't need the kitchen sink. Also, take your own tea towels and dishcloths and HIDE them. I had to throw mine away because they were used for all sorts of things and I couldn't get the smell out of them.
Got some information on my exam this afternoon. It doesn't sound too hard really. Fifty multiple choice questions worth one or three marks each, then five ten-mark questions. Need 105 marks for a first and 60 to pass.
