Glad to see you got results that you're pleased with, Tan. Hope you're having a great day, Layne :)
Well done on your grades Tannie, although I still find the grading a bit confusing. When I sat my exams we had to get an A, B or C to pass anything else was a fail, but I know now that its marked 1 to 5 and general and foundation.
Happy Birthday Layne doll. Hope you had a fabulous day.xxx
We're changing to Sky! Wooo! I hope I can persuade my dad to have Sky + and Multiroom, lol!
Lucky you! I'm trying to persuade my mum to get it :p
I had a great day today.. my friend came back to work after been out 6 months on maternity leave so it was good to have her back. We decorated her desk with balloons and streamers to welcome her back...
We're not getting Sky + :( I was thinking they didn't do the standard one anymore. I think I shall have to ask for multiroom to be installed for Christmas, or something. Still, it's better than what we've got though; this internet randomly decides to be slow and to not load certain pages.
Now we're not getting Sky at all :( BT wanted £130 to change our phone line back to them which Sky offered to refund, but my dad told them to forget it in a not very nice way.
Got a bit of coursework out of the way today, so that's good.
its not that great anyway kim most of its just repeats of old shows. i only usually bother with E4.
My daughter ( nicola) went on holiday last saturday with my mum and a few others my partner went back to work monday after 2 weeks off. so went to my nanas monday and tuesday helped her decorate her dining room.
Today been food shopping into town home to clean up pick my partner up from work then to his mum and dads for tea got home at 8pm....
I wanted Sky mostly because Virgin Media's internet isn't that good. They also have a code on all the movie channels that cannot be disabled.
Went out with my Granny and Granddad yesterday to the cinema then we went to Betty's tea shop afterwards for tea. We had fish and chips with puree'd minted peas at the cost of £10 each. £10 for fish and chips... thats daylight robbery. Still, they can afford it...
Went into town today and got a couple of headbands.
My skin is really itchy and I've got painfull little blisters coming up on my hands, legs and feet.
Spent yesterday on the Isle of wight which i really enjoyed. Spent all mornign on the beach, nice to have sand instead of pebbles. Connor really enjoyed himself, and it is starting to make me realise im not happy where i live now!
Today having a clean up day if i can tear myself away from the net!
I spent all day yesterday looking at houses in Germany.. was shocked that some people thought 120K (euro) was too expensive for 9 bed house with pub!!
Spotted a plot of land for 27k and a wooden house (4 bed with sauna) for 90K.. guess where I am going to live
Come move to Wales ;). You know how much Dave loves it. You can learn to love it :p. There are plenty of sheep to keep you occupied . And rather nice sandy beaches all around :D.
Isle Of White rocks. I love it, but I haven't been since I was 10 as my dad thinks the boat uses up too much fuel going over there. DON'T come to Wiltshire, lol! I can't wait to get out of it.
Another day of not a lot for me, and tonight I went to my grans' house.
CD player is broken :crying: I can't live without my music :(
Finally back from Holiday seems everyones been busy on here, sorry to hear about your mother in law. It was realy good but my Grandad died on Saturday but i was kind of expecting it sio it wasnt that bad.
Well done on your results Tannie, were they for the scotish lowers. I get mine on Thursday, its a realy pain as it is the day of the funeral, so im not really sure how i am going to get them, but i'll find away.

Been out all day at my sister's house warming party. We left at 10pm and everybody was half cut. The guys were pulling the fences up to put in the outdoor chimney thing. It took three of them fifteen minutes to light it :rotfl: So it's been a really really good day and I'm knackered. I reckon my sister is going to have a houseful tonight, none of them are in a fit state to drive anywhere. That'll be funny seeing as there was about 20 people still there when we left and she's only got a double bed spare
I've had a good day. I went over my cousins house where i had a dip in their swimming pool - water was freezing! but it was a hot day so the colder the better.
Oooo yeah even better! Move to Tenby!!!! That's not far from me at all ;).
Awww yeah you have to think about your family, and although it may not be a long long away (wherever, not just Wales :p), you won't see them as much would be hard.
Got new phone, but can't use it yet as I am having my number put onto a different tarrif. Also made my mum spend £27 in New Look on 2 pairs of shoes and a handbag, and am finally dying my hair :)
Uploading my holiday snaps, look really good, alot of them are the welsh landscape, i can tell thats where mum and dad nicked the camera but oh well still hold pretty good memories. Tidied my room, can actually see the carpet, Its blue, its been so long i nearly forgot.
Oh what a weekend I've had. It was my nephew's wedding yesterday and thanks to the good old Scottish summer it poured with rain all flaming day. Anyway the wedding was wonderful Marley was gorgeous as a flowergirl, the food and everything was excellent. Unfortunatley one of the bridesmaids my niece Cherie has been unwell for over a week she has been feeling sick and sluggish, yesterday after the wedding she went to lie down for a bit after the meal and she felt better later on and joined in the dancing at the disco. This morning at 7 o'clock she had really difficulty breathing saying that her lungs were hurting her. Her sister managed to get her to ease her breathing but she didn't want to wake anyone up so she went back to sleep. Once we all got up for breakfast and ready to leave the castle Cherie was still in her room, her brother phone and ambulance and she was taking to hospital the paramedics thought that she may just have a nasty viral infection that has not been treated. Anyway about a half an hour ago Cherie's brother phoned they are keeping her in for a least a week, they had to give her a blood transfusion as she only had 1/2 blood left in her body they have been doing test and are going to give her a CAT scan sometime tonight, so we are still in the dark to what is wrong with her.
Awww, that's terrible, Kath. I hope they find out what is wrong with wrong with her and are able to treat her and get her out of hospital soon.
Kath.. hope you niece gets better and your sister gets good news...
Me to, i hope you find out whats wrong with her soon.
I spent yesterday watching the football, i am so glad the season is back, i was running out of things to talk about. We are going into Manc later to get my dad an Ipod for his birthday, and get things for my holiday. We are off ot Ireland this Saturday.
Thank you all for you kind wishes and thoughts. Here is an update on Cherie's condition. They had to give her a blood transfusion and did some chest x-rays and they found out that her lungs were all white with dark spots so they think that is were all the blood is blocked, they then gave her a CAT scan but we still don't have any confirmed diagnose on what is wrong with her. She is feeling a bit better today they have given her some strong antibiotics and steroids, tomorrow they are going to take a biopsy from her lung and kidney. She is still on the oxygen mask and in the high dependisy unit but her brother has taken in his laptop and a load of DVD so she can watch in bed. Apart from that the boring news is that I had to go back to work today BAH!!! and the schools go back on Wednesday HURRAY!!! But guess what YES!! it's still flaming pouring with rain.
Wednesday thats early, THey don't go back for ages yet here.
I'm bricking it officially, my results com out on thursday. Im freaking out.
I wont be online for a few days as i am going to my grandads funeral on thursday so we'll leave wednesday night.
Sorry to hear about your grandad Katy
Leaving in a little bit, just getting all the last minute numbers and passwirds i need for finding out my results tomorrow, who thought it would be so complicated.
Once again thanks to everyone who has offered kind words of comfort to me over the last few days, when I have been worried about my niece. I had my nephew Cherie's brother on the phone earlier, and the hospital have now found out what is wrong with her. She has a rare condition called Good Pasture's Syndrom. Everyone has it in their body apparently but it can be triggered off any time. basically some of the body immune system attacks the lungs and kidneys. She is still very poorly but at least now the doctors can begin to cure her. She could be ill for about two years and she may require kidney dialasis. She has a long recovery road ahead of her but now we know what we are up against.
I'm glad they've finally found out what's wrong with her Kath and i wish her a very speedy recovery.
Today, i went up to take photos of the students who were recieving their AS and A level results and i took a group shot but this one kid decided to do a :moonie: for the camera..:rotfl:
