When I watch Eastenders nowadays I view it as a comedy programme. Not even someone as deluded as Cindy could really see themselves as the victim in this affair. As to calling the police, really? Kathy only has to deny it and Cindy has no proof, then shooting Ian in self defence, again really, Ian only has to remind Cindy it is against the law to have a gun. Much as Kathy hates Cindy I cannot see her trying to kill her. Celebrating the 40th anniversary. From gritty realism to over the top acting in 40 years. Mind you when presented with the current quality of scripts, actors have no option but to camp it up, to stop themselves bursting into laughter or tears.Quote:
