How come I can't use all caps?
What no doom and gloom, no deaths, fires, sink holes, car crashes, or collapsing buildings? - What sort of Christmas is this?
roy's return, best part of all soaps today
Silent Sam is now speaking. Will be be asking for a pay rise ?
I am very impressed by the acting of Ben Price these days. It's time he was nominated for awards rather than the one trick pony that is Jack Shepherd.
Abi may not go round killing people but find her to be a nasty character. I just don't like her
Does Abi know it was the gun that she brought on to the street that killed Natasha?
is sebs dad in prison for the gun?
will phil be a wrong un with a secret, steal fiz's home or money or one of the kids
How much would Fiz have in the house, did she buy Kirsty out?
Phil has some sort of secret he?s hiding.
I wonder if there are any other places of comparable size to Weatherfield that also only has one police officer.
Tyrone is the owner of the house, he bought it from Jack & Vera (2008). Vera died before the deal went through but Jack honored the deal but stayed on as a lodger.
Here is a part of the 'wiki' article (I'm never sure if I can leave links here):
"No.9 is currently home to Fiz Stape and her daughter Hope Stape, and Tyrone Dobbs's daughter Ruby Dobbs. Tyrone had been Jack and Vera Duckworth's lodger when they owned the house. They sold it to him instead of leaving it to their son Terry as Tyrone had been a better son to them, despite not being a blood relation. The striking appearance of the house - namely the stone cladding - was Vera's idea, as she wanted it to stand out. Some years later, Vera renamed the house "The Old Rectory", when she was trying to out-do the neighbours. Tyrone moved out in April 2021 after he fell in love with Alina Pop."
I remember in the past Roy corrected someone's grammar when they asked him, "Can I get a cup of tea?" Roy replied saying something like, "No, I'm the owner. I will get it for you if you'll sit down."
I see in last night's episode he seems to have forgotten that. In the cafe with Asha. Nina (to Roy): "Can I get an iced bun?" Roy: "Certainly."
So Ty is to sell his house so Fiz and Phill can live together in a bigger house? Is Phill going to rip them off financially? What happened to the rumour that he is Ty's secret brother? :hmm:
Please writers do not go in that direction---we do not need more weird relatives---we have enough of them already!
sarah needs to remember harry before having more kids
ronnie still around living in the pub, why?
Fiona wants ?13K. Tyronne does not need to sell the house. He has no mortgage. Perhaps he should get one. It would be cheaper than renting somewhere.
Is it a scam with Phil, will he rip Fiz off?
Why can Ty not sell the flat, get the money and take a mortgage out on Jack and Vera's house and pay Fizz off?
Maybe Evelyn can pay some rent to him towards the mortgage?
What does Evelyn spend her pension on?
And Emma can be a lodger at Tys and pay him rent, more money for his re mortgage!
What has happened to all the CArs that were parked in Corra ST?
Where does George's funeral cars stay
Do the residents have cars? if so where are they kept?
How do wheelie bins get emptied you never see a Rubbish wagon
I guess the writers plot on Maria worried about car pollution is not going forward
Liked Roy's response as humans we cannot always be grammatically correct---from me an "over the Pond' response from a Canuck
