I really don't understand why these awards only took into consideration what took place from January to now.
Surely it should be from the last ceremony to now.
Emmerdale's Michael Parr responds to British Soap Awards 'snub': "People have been much stronger than me"
Fans have been questioning why the actor wasn't nominated this year.
Emmerdale*star Michael Parr has no hard feelings on not being nominated in the longlist for this year's British Soap Awards.
The actor, who plays Ross Barton in the ITV soap, was responding to fan suggestions that he had been snubbed.
Parr told one follower on Twitter:*"People have been much stronger than me and Ross this year and have more chance of winning."
The*British Soap Awards longlist*was released last week, but it only includes the viewer-nominated categories at the moment. So Parr could be in luck when it comes to the panel-voted shortlist.

Yea when you look at what he has been involved in with him being "dead" and the Pete stuff and then the who shot Robert and Debbie stuff it is rather surprising that he isn't there. Regardless of the past few months where he has had less screen time it should be overall. But like with anyone and the public that's voting they put forward their best chance and the ones that have been put forward are the ones with big stories right now. The public tend to have short memories :D Saying that I wouldn't really have chosen Paddy but it gives Danny a great chance as the likes of Michael Parr and Ryan Hawley not being there means it wont split the vote.
Not sure why they would ask The Ross/Donna or Ross/Debbie question again. I would have though the majority would say Donna. That would be my choice. They had the thrills and crime and the sentimental reasons etc. Maybe they are looking to gage the opinions as where to take Debbie next. Maybe they could do with turning her to be a bit more dodgy or whatever. Like with when she helped Ross do that Job for Chrissie way back
