I'm actually loving this storyline, yes it may be a bit out there with some scenes (like the Robert hallucinations last night) but I feel that makes us manage to relate to Chas more, whereas if we couldn't see the hallucinations we may not be able to sympathise as much.
-
I like it too. Think it has been done really well. feel so sorry for Chas and Lucy has done a great Job. And actually for the first time in a while Aaron was great. I like him but the stuff he has been given lately hasn't done him any good. This storyline has been great for him and look forward to seeing what's next

Emmerdale's Chas Dingle will make a risky decision in the New Year when she decides to rekindle her relationship with her ex-husband Gordon Livesy.
Chas gives into temptation after Gordon returns to the village for the first time in years, but she chooses to keep their son Aaron in the dark over their reignited romance.
Now played by former Peak Practice actor Gary Mavers, Gordon arrives back on screen next week when Diane Sugden has a chance meeting with him while having chemotherapy.
Gordon is also at the hospital as he has been battling Hodgkin's Lymphoma. While catching up with Diane, he is surprised to hear just how much Chas and Aaron have been struggling recently and decides to reach out to them.
Unsurprisingly, Gordon gets a frosty reception from Aaron, but he does make enough progress with Chas to be invited to the Dingle family's Christmas lunch.
Things go a step further at New Year as Chas surprises herself by kissing Gordon, but she knows that there'd be fireworks if Aaron ever found out.
Lucy Pargeter, who plays Chas, explained: "It's rekindling that old flame. It's that first love thing - they'll always have a connection and they've got Aaron together as well. It's a chemical connection. I don't think Chas is willing to jump back into another relationship, but there is that magnetism that is pulling them together.
"But because of Aaron's bad reaction to Gordon turning up, Chas does it in secret even though she keeps saying she won't have any more secrets. Here's another one!"

Reminding us of their history, Pargeter continued: "At first Chas is quite shocked to see Gordon, to be honest. He's been out of Aaron's life for quite a few years. Chas and Gordon didn't part on good terms. The last time we saw them together, Chas had given Aaron a wallop round the head. Gordon had come back and rescued his son and said, 'You're never seeing him again'.
"So Chas is surprised to see Gordon, but he tries to convince her that he needs to make up for lost time. That's like Chas was - she had to work hard with Aaron and make up for all the time they had lost. So she's very open to Gordon coming back.
"I think because of her own history with Aaron, she just tries to convince him to give Gordon another chance. She was like that with him, but he gave her another chance and look at them now. She just wants to see Aaron happy, but he doesn't react well.
"It's always nice to see old characters brought back. I'm always interested in people's history and a massive chunk of both Chas and Aaron's history is Gordon. So it's amazing to see and discover what actually went on. I'm really happy that he's here."
Emmerdale airs Chas and Gordon's kiss on New Year's Day at 7pm on ITV.

She needs to get better not jump into another fail relationship again

Is Chas all cured now, no more follow up with therapy sessions or with a doctor, no more mention of her episodes which lead to Diane's stabbing which is bad writing on what was a good storyline

Chas asks Robert for a favour
We never thought that we’d see the day where Chas Dingle would be calling on Robert Sugden for a favour. But in the wake of the admission from Aaron Livesy that he was abused as a child by his dad Gordon, the pair are set to find themselves awkwardly united for a similar cause.
Despite Chas’ misgivings about Robert’s suitability for Aaron, she will soon be forced to concede that he is indeed on her son’s side and will surprise him with an unexpected request for a very big favour indeed.
But what is it that she wants from him?
Aaron has taken some time away from the village following threats from Gordon but both Chas and Robert remain determined to fight for justice on his behalf. And Chas is left thoughtful and questioning her own judgement of Robert when he urges her to keep pressing on after the police admit they have had no luck in tracking down Gordon’s ex wife, Sandra.
With Robert’s offer of help logged away in her mind, she is convinced to keep up the fight and seeks Cain’s help in looking through Aaron’s old school reports for anything that could prove useful.
Later, Robert is taken aback when Chas turns to him and has a very big ask of him. But how will he respond – and will he finally be able to prove to her that they are both in this together for Aaron?

Emmerdale's Chas Dingle turns vigilante next week, as she decides to dish out her own ruthless punishment to rapist Gordon.
Chas (Lucy Pargeter) is driven to desperate measures when she starts to fear that her troubled son Aaron will never get justice for what Gordon did to him.
Angered by the lack of progress in the case since Aaron reported Gordon, a determined Chas heads over to her ex-husband's house in a rage.
Chas clearly has revenge in mind as she clutches a can of spray paint and bangs at the door, shouting at Gordon to come out before she lets his neighbours know what he really is.
When Gordon fails to respond to her, Chas starts furiously spraying his car with paint - publicly branding him a paedophile.
While Chas's anger is clearly justified, Aaron's ex-boyfriend Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) soon arrives on the scene and fiercely accuses her of making things ten times worse.

Robert and Chas are seen by witnesses
Robert reminds Chas that they need to act smart if they stand any chance of getting Gordon behind bars, so he orders her to stay away from now on.
Chas's antics later earn her a police warning when officers come calling at The Woolpack to punish her, but it's Aaron's reaction that hurts her the most when he arrives back from his break.
Heartbroken to discover that Chas has revealed his secret to all, Aaron feels betrayed by his mum and orders her to take back what she said by insisting that it didn't happen. Can Robert convince Aaron that it's too risky to backtrack now?
