Emmerdale returnee Adele Silva has confirmed that viewers can expect big clashes between Kelly Windsor and Nicola King in the months ahead.
Later this week, fans will see that Nicola's husband Jimmy (Nick Miles) has been having secret meetings with ex-fiancée Kelly in Peterborough, which explains his recent odd behaviour.
The revelation paves the way for Kelly to make a full-time return to the village following Silva's decision to reprise the role after three years away from Emmerdale.
Speaking to We Love Telly about the impact of Kelly's comeback, Silva explained: "When she returns to the village and makes herself at home with her stepdad Bob, her presence certainly ruffles Nicola's feathers.
"She confronts Kelly and warns her to watch her back. In true Kelly fashion, she's just dismissive of Nicola's threats."
The actress added that Kelly enjoys the animosity, explaining: "She's always been a troublemaker and loves stirring things up. Nicola versus Kelly is a match made in heaven."
Meanwhile, asked whether Kelly is aiming to win Jimmy back, Silva replied: "What do you think? Of course!"

Adele Silva has admitted that she hopes Emmerdale's Kelly Windsor is reunited with her ex-fiancé Jimmy King.
Viewers will discover this week that Jimmy (Nick Miles) and Kelly have been having secret meetings in Peterborough, eventually paving the way for her return to the village.
"She's missed him in her life. Jimmy is the one person who accepted all her flaws," Silva told Soaplife. "Kelly doesn't care about Jimmy’s marriage or his wife. Kelly only ever thinks about herself. She reckons Jimmy only married Nicola because she wasn't around."
Asked if she would like the former couple to be reunited, she added: "I'd love that. And once Kelly gets her teeth into something she wants, she won't let go. She really believes she loves Jimmy, but the decision won't be hers to make. It will be Jimmy's."

Emmerdale stars Nick Miles and Nicola Wheeler have revealed a twist ahead in Jimmy King's amnesia storyline, confirming that the haulage driver will start deceiving wife Nicola following his memory loss.
Nicola's relationship with Jimmy is due to be rocked later this week when doctors reveal that he has suffered a head injury and no longer knows who he is.
As the married couple try to get their romance back on track in the following weeks, Jimmy's ex-fiancée Kelly Windsor - who caused the blow to his head - will make a reappearance in the village to speak to Jimmy.
Miles - who plays Jimmy - told the soap's official website: "This strange woman turns up and seems quite apologetic and then friendly, and then strangely excited when she realises I don't know anything!"
Revealing that her character remains in the dark about Kelly's visit, Wheeler added: "For the audience, a little teaser for you - Jimmy starts to lie to Nicola immediately about Kelly's return. But why?"
Jimmy's amnesia plotline begins on Thursday at 7pm on ITV1.

Emmerdale returnee Adele Silva has confirmed that Kelly Windsor will try to use Jimmy King's amnesia to her advantage in a forthcoming storyline.
The actress's scheming alter ego was recently seen knocking Jimmy out cold during a heated altercation in Peterborough, leading to a mystery when he subsequently disappeared.
Jimmy's loved ones will soon discover that he is safe and receiving treatment in hospital, however he has lost his memory and has no idea of who he is nor what happened to him. The news later delights Kelly when she makes a reappearance in the village and discovers the unusual situation.
Speaking to All About Soap, Silva explained: "Straight away you can see the little cogs whirring and she definitely turns it to her own benefit. She thinks, 'Okay, I've obviously hit him really hard and he's forgotten it all. Well, that's fantastic because he's not going to remember it was me!'
"And then she decides she's going to make him remember that they almost got married, that they were so in love. It's a bit sneaky, really. It's manipulative and calculating."
Asked how far Kelly will go to win back her ex-fiancé, she replied: "You just never know with Kelly. She'd go to the ends of the earth, I think. Once she's got her mind totally set on something, that's it."

Adele Silva has hinted that her Emmerdale character Kelly Windsor could team up with Eve Jenson to cause mischief.
The actress returned to screens on the ITV1 soap last month and her scheming alter ego is due to make a permanent move back to the village in the weeks ahead.
Kelly makes a brief reappearance in her former home later this month when she visits her amnesia-suffering ex-fiancé Jimmy King (Nick Miles) following their violent altercation in Peterborough.
Discussing how things progress in the longer-term, Silva told All About Soap: "She moves back to the village and she has a few little surprises that crop up there.
"She also forms a friendship with Eve. They get chatting over a glass of wine, and perhaps conspire to cause trouble."
Kelly's return to the village is expected to cause problems for Jimmy's relationship with wife Nicola (Nicola Wheeler), who has been left devastated by the loss of her partner's memory.
Meanwhile, Eve - played by Suzanne Shaw - currently has her own enemies following her affair with Carl King (Tom Lister).

Her Emmerdale character Kelly Windsor is well used to driving people around the bend, but actress Adele Silva has revealed it's other road users that wind her up in real life.
The normally mild-mannered actress, who first joined the soap in 1993, finds she's at her most fuming when she's stuck behind slow-moving cars.
She told Reveal magazine: "I'm not normally an impatient person but, when I'm in the car and going somewhere, I get angry at people dawdling along."
And Adele, whose character has returned to the soap to wreak havoc between her ex-fiance Jimmy King and his new wife Nicola, reckons there are other career options for her if she gets fed up with acting.
"I'd be something to do with crime. I'm really into psychology and criminal profiling. I like reading about body language and serial killers, and the psychology of why people behave the way they do."
Must come in handy for getting inside the head of scheming Kelly...

Adele Silva doesn't know if she could be friends with her soap alter-ego Kelly Windsor.
The actress is seen returning to Emmerdale full time this week, when her character, wild child turned temptress Kelly, goes back to the village.
She said: "I absolutely love playing Kelly, just because you never know what she's going to do next and she's always involved in something.
"I don't know if I'd be friends with her. I think I'm quite biased because I say I feel quite sorry for her... but I don't know. I think if I saw her I'd be a bit 'oh, she's there with her knee-high socks, leopard print bod-con dress and a little coat'. The old part of me would think, 'oh put some clothes on!'."
The actress, who has been away for three years with the exception of an appearance in the soap in February, joked of her full-time return: "It was lovely, freezing. I'd forgotten how cold it was up here in Kelly's miniscule outfits. But it's fine, it's nice actually."
Of her character's return, she added: "She moves back into the village and she has a few little surprises that pop up there. Quite a few shocks."
Wonder what those shocks will be?

Nick Miles has spoken of the latest twist in store for his Emmerdale character Jimmy King, who will soon hear shocking news from ex-fiancée Kelly Windsor.
Jimmy is currently facing a tough time on screen as he is suffering from amnesia, which has left him facing the tough task of rebuilding his life with wife Nicola and daughter Angelica.
However, things will soon become yet more complicated when Kelly throws a massive spanner in the works - informing Jimmy that she has a 2-year-old son named Elliot and he is the father.
In an interview with Soaplife, Miles explained: "Jimmy's completely bowled over by Kelly's revelation that he has a son. It's very exciting for him but at the same time a huge shock.
"It's hard for him to take in but, in a way, his son seems as valid to Jimmy as his daughter Angelica, who he doesn't know either."
Following the bombshell, Jimmy is expected to face increasing pressure to choose between Nicola and Kelly as their love triangle storyline intensifies.
Kelly - played by Adele Silva - returned to screens last month and makes a reappearance in the village in tomorrow night's episode, paving the way for her full-time move back to Emmerdale.
