For me:
1. Stop messing around on the internet
2. Go to the library.
3. Bribe myself with treats if I do X amount of hours
4. No House or Home and Away if work isn't completed.
5. Prioritise.
6. Don't stress about it. Important to remember that I'm not superwoman and I can't do everything without making myself ill.
7. Get lots of sleep, but not too much that I'm asleep more than I'm awake (pretty much the case in general).
^ Is probably a load of rubbish. I'm high on painkillers right now
After I have done my two exams (w/b 27th April) I can leave for the summer :D I finally have some motivation to do work  Nine weeks left of work then almost five months of relaxing
To be honest, this year has gone really quick. It seems ages since I started back in September and actually liked living here.
I'm debating whether to go out tonight or stay in and get on with some work and pack for tomorrow :hmm:
I know what you mean. It seems like only a couple of months has passed since I started the "crucial" year, to quote all of my teachers .. My drama exam is on 29th April and I'm starting to really worry. No matter how hard I try, I just don't seem to be able to focus or even care enough to do my work. Especially with media studies. I hate my teacher. I hate the people I'm with. I hate the coursework because nothing I do seems to be good enough. I'm sure - and I don't mean to sound egotistical here - my teacher just down-grades me because she doesn't like me.
Maybe do an hour or two of work and then go out later, Abigail :searchme:
I need to learn to get more sleep. I've gotten into the habit of going to sleep at like, 1:30 or later because my friend, Katie, who lives in America doesn't seem to understand we're in different time zones and texts me all night
We made one of our lecturers cry today lol. Bless her :p.
None of us had done our work she asked us.. well not finished.. and it has to be sent of to the EV like this week, so she was upset a bit. We felt so bad. Think she needs to cry more often because never seen everyone work so hard :p.
I have SO much work to do as well Abigail :( Feeling the pressure.. I hate how I leave things to the last minute. Got like 15 weeks to do...
- 2 tasks on CS
- 5 tasks on ECE
- 1 task on WE
- 2 tasks on VA
- 3 tasks on ST
- 3 new modules probs with 4/5 tasks each
- 2 tasks on LH (the one we made the lecturer cry on :p)
- Too much Welsh Bac stuff.. because our teacher sucks.
- 4 tasks on TO
- Rest of AON keyskills.. corrections on Comms keyskills.
That's all I can think of right now.. but I am sure there's more :(. All in 15 weeks... I REALLY need to get my head down!!!! :crying:
Awww.. Had nobody at all done the work? Not even one person? Poor lecturer :(
I think she had had one persons in. But we soon cheered her up :p.
A lot of us misunderstood her I think.. we thought she wanted the whole assignment in.. but she was happy to have just a few tasks.
Ohhh.. That isn't so bad then. Have you done many tasks then? :p
Well it's 2 assignments that have to be sent off.. for same lecturer.
On RT I had done them all.. just had to do corrections.. and I had done task 1, 2 and 3 corrections on the college drive... but task 4 corrections at home, and she REALLY wanted it today.. so I was able to give 3 tasks of that, she said that was fine.
Then on LH, I haven't finished any tasks.. but I said I had haha  Lying, hoping I could give it in tomorrow.. but she told me to email her it tonight haha . So now for the next few hours after dinner, I'm going to put my head down, cause I still feel bad, she's a really nice lecturer as well haha, which makes it worse.
I always lie. I'm awful. My drama teacher is lovely but I'm such a good liar she can never tell. If I told her the dog ate my coursework she'd probably believe me ... I feel bad though, because she's the only nice teacher I have :(
