The producers seem to think we viewers, want them to constantly bring back characters who have left. I could have done without Mandy returning, I think she is an awful character. Did they finally settle that terrible casino rip-off story, and still no one knows Vinny is not her son. I guess that will be revealed in some dramatic way in the future. Vanessa had all that time to work out what she was going to do when she released herself but ended up totally confused.
Did Vanessa go to the police? - On Thursday she was seen in a waiting room that Audio Description said it was a hospital waiting room altho' it looked more like a police station. So now I am confused has she shopped Charity or not, or is she ill? What was in the white envelope?
Did Charity cut her own hair? The opening scene on Friday looked like it was morning, but she already had it cut? Do they have all night hairdressers in The Dales?
Vanessa untied herself from the drawer handle, so what does Pierce do? He ties her back up to the same handle. - It's all a bit amateur dramatics.

Why on earth did Vanessa not free herself when Pierce went to see Kim. She could have taken Jonny and fled to Rhona's or the pub. That rope was virtually only wrapped around the drawer handle, if you were tying up a boat or a horse, you would use a far more substantial knot than that. Why did he not tie her to a chair like any decent Soap villan would do.
