Oh no Siobhan - i hope your ok.
It's raining where i am again today...so i think it's going to be another day in for me.
went over my cousins today which was good cos havent seen them for ages. then went to the sports centre this evening and then put all the calories back on by eating chips for dinner lol!
 Poor you, Siobhan. Glad to hear you are ok and that nothing much was taken.
I haven't done much today after getting up late as my neighbour was still partying at half 3 in the morning and gone. Think I will get some work out of the way tomorrow though.
I went shopping today after work for a dress for the wedding but didn't find anything. I tried on a few dresses but I couldn't get them fastened round me boobs :cartman: I'm going to have to go out again tomorrow as I only have 2 weeks to the wedding at this rate I'll be going in pjyamas.
Yesterday i went into Edinbrugh by bus, like we normally do, and it was complete utter chaos! As the Forth Rail Bridge is closed for some reason i do not know. But only then did i reliease how many people use the train! So yeah was complete chaos getting in and back!
Today i went to see Harry Potter with my mum and brother. Then did nothing:p
I have no idea how I upset my friend :(
So glad both you, Emz and Siobhan, are well xx
My day was okay... Now it's gone into another day and I still haven't started reading HP6... I think I am going to re-read HP5 the last few chapters as I sort of rushed it and then start HP6 sometime.. Not even going to give myslef a date as I did before because the last three times it didn't happen lol!
I always do that, especially with revision. I finally finished The Wedding chapter in HP7, which has bored me stupid. I got to it on the first day, lol!
Glad your both Ok, Ems and Siobhan.
Went sailing last night got a smack in the shoulder by the boom when there was a massive wind shift, it is killing me. I want to try and ersuede someone to come to the cinema with me, not been in ages, so i might do that later on. Wednesday went to a session in Manchesterwhich was really good.
Firstly i want to start of saying im glad your okay Shivs :)
Secondly wednesday we (me mum dad my brother and my bro's mate) went camping (not just in some random field it was a propper site a bit like Haven holiday park) wednesday (was meant to come home today) it was nice to get away (though it felt like we was there longer than 29 hours) it was all going good until it got really windy and the tent kept going flat because the wind blew against it so hard that it struggled to stay up so we decided we couldnt stay another night started packing up then i went to wash me hands because it was like almost packed up and i couldnt do anything else then i come back out and its pissing it down with rain so its a damn good job we did pack up before it got to that stage then they tell me that while i was gone dad broke the tent. It was so funny everything was blowing away and i had to lay on it then when it started raining dad goes move all that gear into the car so it dont get wet so im trying to do that and the toilet roll has blown down the other end of the site so i chase that then all the crisps blow away but all in different directions so i had to go and case after them too - it was mental.
After it was all packed up we followed my older brother and his new girlfriend to a pub and had a couple of drinks before leaving to go home.
today i didnt do much, went down my gran and grandads and had to take my cat to the vets. also this morning i smashed my foot against the wall and broke my toes lol!
Aww i hope your ok Di M!
I stayed over my mates last night and we watched Borat and we got addicted to this playstation 2 game but i forgot what it was called...:hmm:
Firstly can I say Ems will you calm down before you give me any more grey hairs. I'm so worried about little yellow or Jack. Shiv glad to hear your weren't injured babes but you must have been scared whitless.
I went shopping again today in the centre or Edinburgh I got a burnt orange dress from Debhemans a John Rocha dress £55 I'm going shopping on Sunday for a handbag and shoes any advice on what colour I should lool out for.
Bless ya Kath - I'll try but with a hubby that seems to be working longer and longer hours (trying to remember what he looks like at the mo  ) and with the 3 monsters already to look after - no chance :(
Shiv! OMG hun thats awful - I'm glad you are ok, but shocking no less. I'm so glad you are alright though.
Oh Kath, I'd probably go for brown ones, but then I'm not any good with fashion lol (have you seen the way I dress  )
Day before yesterday, cleaned the house top to bottom, cleaned the windows, shake and vac'd (are you singing the ad yet :D) and put some lovely carnations round the house, so looking loverly (not that the hubby notices but hey ho, I liked it and the boys appreciated it). Then spent all of yesterday and last night finally sorting out our VAT return, Month End and Year End accounts, so can finally relax till next week when all the paperwork will start again
And my hubby says I do nothing  He needs to watch me for a couple of days and see how much I really do....
Hope everyone has a great weekend if I don't speak to you x
Interim report came through from school :(
I have no idea why some of my target grades have gone down. And if they're right about which column is current progress, then I'm screwed in December when they march everyone up to the headmaster for a number between 3 and -3 with 0 being getting what you're supposed to. If they think that report's worth the paper it's written on, I'll get about -2. My worst subject is my highest on the whole thing, and, eurgh.
Business teacher can't make her mind up. She's had:
Estimated Target
CD B
A A*
A B
I'm blaming the CD on the CAT tests that I didn't finish, and was on a sleepover just before I sat them.
Last night I was up till 2 reading the last 3 chapters of HP4 which I finally got round to re-reading.. I understand soo much now that I took my time.. Downside.. I realised it takes me about 4 hours just to read like 150pages.. I could swear I am quicker at reading than that! Hopefully the time will improve over the summer hols, where I am hoping to read more. I am now going to get of here and FINALLY make a start on HP6! Will let you know how I get on
My sister's 21st is tomorrow, and she went clubbing last night. She won a 1 week holiday to Ibiza, going on Thursday! :rotfl: What a great Bday pressie, eh? And when she comes back, 4 days later she's going to Turkey for 2 weeks. Bless her- She just graduated with a 2:1, she deserves it.
Finally made a start on HP6.. On page 50.. had my break now I am going to get back to it lol x
Why are all of my mates going on holiday/having major things planned at the same time? :(
Ems me darling you need to take a photo of you and the kids and stick it on the fridge door saying Hey Dumbass remember US? Slow down and take care we don't want little Yellow or Jack getting upset. :D As for picking a pair of shoes and a bag for this wedding my sister suggested a tan colour. Gawd I wish I had just picked a black dress for the wedding life would be so much easier.
I had a great day yesterday went down to Brum to see my uncles and my two aunties were over from Ireland on a visit, it was great fun. Still reading Harry Potter, up to chapter 7. i think i am getting slower. My shoulder still kills from sailing, i have pulled a muscle in it, so it should start getting better doon. oh and on Friday night i saw Harry Potter at the cinema which was really good.
Kath - i hope you find some shoes, i am hopeless at finding things to wear.
Had a good few days...
Helped my mum complete crosswords in Take A Breeak magazine yesterday.
Today, i met up with my friend, we went down town where i bought Snow Patrol's first album and then he came round this afternoon. :)
not been bad today, it was sunny so i tester my new football out in the garden mum wasnt impressed she was trying to do the gardening. Bought Now 67 so going to listen to my Ipod and read Harry Potter.
well i've been at work all weekend, which was kinda boring but today was better! now i'm gonna go and do sg offline, which i haven't quite decided yet!!!
not really done much this weekend, tidied (sp?) my wardrobe out today though
Got round to finishing RE homework today. Really don't want to do any more though! I'm supposed to be tidying mine out, DM, but I still haven't done it! I'm on about Page 180 of Harry Potter now.
I think I'm in the early stages of dementia. :rotfl: :rotfl: I planned to go to TK Max today to look for a handbag and shoes to go with my dress for the wedding. Marley didn't want to come so I dropped her off at her cousins and when and got the bus. For some reason I went to the wrong out of town shopping complex and I didn't realise until I had sat on a bloody bus for over an hour. It was only when I got off the bus did I remember this is not were TK Max was, but by then it was too late to jump on another bus because by the time I had got back into the centre of Edinburgh to catch the correct bus TK Max would have been closed. So I just decided to look around the shops where I was and I found a bag and a pair of shoes for the wedding.
Lol! After an hour on a bus to the wrong place though, Kath, I doubt you'd do it again in a hurry!
Aw Kim honestly I couldn't believe it. Both the out of town shopping centres look similar and the bus that I got on doesn't even go any where near where the shopping centre that TK Max is at, but it didn't dawn on me until I got off the bus and I was like looking at all the shops saying hang on were's TK Max then the penny dropped and I realised I was at the wrong end of Edinburgh. It was 4pm and it would have taken me another 40 mins on the bus to get back into Edinburgh then another 20 on a different bus to get to were I was supposed to be and TK Max closes at 5 on a Sunday. What a complete Twit
Went to the Alan Ball memorial football match yesterday - it was good :) Met a few stars, including Joe Pasquale who was really nice and Gerard Kearns (ian from Shameless) he was knackered bless him! It was a good day until we had to get the train back, and i didn't have any ID on me to prove i was only 15 so they charged me for an adult ticket,i kicked up a huge fuss because i object to paying adult prices when i can still legally get child tickets - just because i look older they make me pay more  And usually i carry ID to prove my age. Yeh and then we got stuck in town for an hour and then we had to walk about 5 miles down country roads at 11 o clock last night because the Taxi never turned up
So it was a good day until we had to come home!!
Was the ALan ball match good, i was planning on watching a bit on telly but never got round to it. I'm off to birmingham for a fw days to see my Nana so i won't be online.
Just chilled out yesterday which was nice and i tidied my room. I even hoovered and went underneath the rug not just around it which i usually do.
And Kath, i have done things like that before, especially when buses are involved, i think its really easy to get on the wrong bus.
Yeh it was good from what i saw :p I didn't watch all of the main match because we had to leave but we saw England score :p :cheer:
Went up north on friday with my partner and daughter to stay with some friends. just chilled out friday night. saturday went in to bishop shopping.
Sunday we all went to the sunderland airshow it was really good..
I went to the hospital today to see the cardiologist. It was a complete farce. I got there only to be told that the consultant that I should be seeing has left and there was no consultants in clinic today, only registrars. I don't object to seeing a registrar but it was my first appointment, I've waited 6 months for an urgent appointment plus two years to get a referral and as it's a potentially fatal problem (Wolff Parkinson White) that I may have it would be nice to see somebody who probably knows a lot more about it.
So anyway, after that fiasco I had an ECG then went in to see the doctor. Got in there and he had no ECG tracings or heart scans or any other test readings because the paediatrician that I was under hadn't put copies of them in the notes when they were faxed over. The paediatrician hadn't even referred my to the cardiologist, it was a neurologist that referred me. The doctor had a complete set of neurology reports and notes but thats pointless. There's a big difference between my brain and my heart.
The cardiologist was really good though, there wasn't much that he could do without the ECG tracings except refer me for a week long ECG and an exercise test. There was a delta wave that showed up on the ECG that I had there which is indicative of WPW but the doctor said he was looking to exclude the condition not diagnose it.
So really it was a waste of time going. All I got out of it was yet more heart tracings. How many more do they want, they must have about fifteen of them in two years. Grr, it wouldn't have happened if I had never had seen that paediatrician in the first place and just transferred to another hospital. Two years to see a cardiologist because some paediatric cardio specialist at Leeds said there was nothing worrying wrong with the first ECG without even looking at it (telephone conversation, I ask you, is that reliable) and it should be discounted in the grand scheme of things.
So that was my day
Well I am back from America... I had a blast.. but nursing one heck of a head cold and jet lag,, and constant popping in my ears,,, it is now 3:24 a.m. and I can not sleep,,no one is on line to talk to,, so I guess I will just go see if I can bug the dog and maybe go out and go for a walk.
