Adam has been fixing the kitchen so big deal about his fingerprints on a worktop. Plus i do not think Tracy has been acting weird as if she is hiding a fugitive.

Yes, I can't understand what Adam's fingerprints being on the kitchen work top prove. It doesn't show he was necessarily in the house on the night in question, just that he's been in the house since.
