Why isn't the prosecution barrister questioning the accused?
The real question to be answered here is not who killed Seb, Corey or Kelly, but if it was Corey AND Kelly. No one looking at the two of them could serious believe that Kelly alone was responsible, or that Corey could not stop Kelly. A jury would have to be thick or asleep to find Kelly guilty and Corey innocent. I am sure we are meant to feel sorry for Abi but she is annoying me with her accusations that Corey's father is paying everyone off to free his son. Eli's dad, OK but the judge, seriously? I cannot remember what he does, but I am sure he does not have that much money, if he did, surely the family would not be living near Weatherfield. This is Imran's second major murder trial, a big step up from his usual bread butter conveyancing. Not only is he defending Kelly, but he seems to be doing the prosecutors job of procecuting Corey. After this trial is over, surely he will be moving to a new fancy office in town, and leaving Adam behind.
It's never been made very clear. They were definitely in the Football League at one time; they were mentioned as being in the Second Division back in the day when there was a Second Division, but whether they are still in the EFL somewhere or whether they have been relegated at some point to the National League I don't think has ever been made very clear. What I have also never been very clear about is just how big a "star" Tommy O is. Is he just a local star, or is he well-known outside the confines of Weatherfield?
I have also thought that Weathy County were in one of the lower leagues and that Tommy O is just a local star. Not sure why I think this maybe because Kirk used to be the mascot "Buzzer the Bee" and I do not think he was paid for this and their sponsor is The Weatherfield Gazette". That puts them at about the same level as our two local clubs, Margate FC, Isthmian League, Premier Division and Ramsgate FC, Isthmian League, South East Division.
Do Weathy United fans actually go to the games or are they like West Ham fans in Walford ?
would imran and sabeen as exs be seen as conflict in court plus imran as kelly's foster parent
did james sign a big money contract with that football club
I have been giving this matter a lot of thought, far more than it merits. They have been rather vague about where Weathy County are placed , and the more I think about the less sense it makes. The fact that Tommy O has an agent seems to suggest a higher position and that he earns a fair amount, the internet seems to suggest an average of ?1,000 a week in league two. James on the other hand, who replaced Tommy, got excited when he was offered ?30,000 for the magazine article, but if he is on similar money to Tommy then he must already have a few quid in savings given that he is living at home with his parents in a terraced house. He certain does not seem to have the lifestyle of someone earning that sort of money. But then Weathy County's sponsor is the Weatherfield Gazette, which given the state of most local newspapers cannot be a large amount. In short I do not think we are meant to know where Weathy County sit in the league or are even meant to think about it. I am going to stop before my brain hurts.
Here you go...still a bit vague about exactly where they are now, but it's a start: https://coronationstreet.fandom.com/...ield_County_FC
Don't they record (video) all police interviews in the UK? Why would that detective (can't remember her name) not videotape the interview? Are they low on funds?
Corey literally makes my skin crawl!
Todd and George crack me up! The scene a few episodes back where he comes downstairs with Phelans ashes had me howling! They are such a good double act!
Thanks, for your reply. But as she was confessing in both interviews I was surprised that Abney (is that her name?) was writing her responses in a little notebook. I thought that all interviews started with an 'officer' naming the people in the room & the date & time at the start. Maybe the writers were cutting corners/time?
So we saw the Crown prosecutor cross examining Kelly, but we didn't see him cross examining Corey or his summing up. To have gained an overall view of the way the trial went, surely we needed to see both.
it's all going against kelly so she probably get off corey sent down
