Soaps seem to have an obsession with 'feisty women' engaging in fisticuffs with men. Vanessa came off worse for once but Charity later took down Donny. Eastenders in particular repeatedly show women decking men usually in The Vic. Many of the female characters including Shirley and Stacey have done this. In real life not sure this would happen. Without being sexist it is unlikely an untrained woman could hit a man hard enough to knock him down with one punch. Especially if they have long nails which stops them clenching their fists tightly, more likely to cut the palm of their hands or damage their wrists. Someone like Nicola Adams could probably do so but Charity Dingle is no Nicola Adams.
I do not have talons, unfortunately, have quite brittle nails but those that have can probably do more damage scratching the eyes of a bloke than giving him a punch ....Quote:

I know hospitals are desperate to clear beds, but Vanessa seemed to be out and home super quick after two abdominal operations for internal bleeding, and not really showing much effects. I would have expected her to show more signs of pain or discomfort when moving around.

Has Moira convinced herself that Cain really is innocent. I remember when she was a bit of a 'goody goody'. Debbie has turned out to be a bit of a hypocrite, her situation with Ross and Simon was similar to the situation that Cain is in now, I would have expected her to be more understanding. Still not sure how she got off after confessing.
