Where is Paul's mother, why even introduce her, another wasted storyline and character
lovely of sonia to try and cheer up jane who set her uncle max up
A normal episode with not a lot happening which in a way was quite refreshing. Sylvie did make me smile with her scenes. When I see Ian I just think of Grant smacking him and his glasses flying off his face. :D
I have absolutely no sympathy for Tina. A selfish childlike individual. Nice scenes with Sonia, Martin and Stacey and loved Becks line about being a blended family.
Another good "normal" episode, loved Phil and Ben watching tv, having biscuits out of the biscuit tin and a low key duff duff, which I liked. I hope we have more of these types of episodes, it makes a refreshing change. It may be too early to say but I think SOC may be stamping his mark on the show, a promising start.
Sharon is very tanned, she is wearing way too much if fake
sonia is too nice, she should kick out slyvie and tina, let martin and his family live in the house, belinda keep the flat with kyle
Line of the night goes to Rebecca: "Where the hell is Kettering." I know Londoners only think the UK is made up of London up to Newport Pagnell. :D
Mick is horrible, self centered and selfish. I don't think SOC is overly keen on the Carters. They are not writing Mick very well, I wonder what Mr Dyer thinks?
The only reason Mick was slagging Sonia off was that Sylvie might be dumped on him and he might end up nursing his Gran. Also he might be lumbered with his Aunt who is a waste of space, I mean what is the point of Tina? Poor Zsa Zsa.
Liked Denise's scenes at college and Carmel made me smile tonight.
Casandra from "Only Fools" as the Landlady of the Feathers. I half expected Rodney to come through the doors of the Vic. :D
Diane Parish was superb tonight.
wait so what now whitney don't want linda so close
Oh wow yes of course it was her, thanks FF.
Since when does a darts night need a ref?? Then again the only time you have more than two players throwing is at the end of the night when youre playing for another trophy just for a bit of fun. Its played so the useless players not used in the match get to do something and feel part of the team.
Mick.. how dare Sonia not give free room and care to his Nan anymore...shame Sonia didnt confront them on the issue, they were the ones that took nan front the NHS care system which is brilliant.

As some of you know I have given up on Eastenders after Ian and Jane escaped any sort of prosecution for their part in getting Max banged up. It certainly didn't do anything to entice me back when Dean got off in spite of DTC's previous promise that he would eventually get his comeuppance.
So, can someone who is still watching tell me what's happening about Babe's blackmail of Pam and Les? Has she been arrested yet? When's the trial? Thank you.
nothing has happened babe, no money paid back to les
at first i thought sonia was saying ketamine not kettering :o
I am actually enjoying EastEnders again now. I love the normal, natural dialogue, the scenes with Lauren and Whitney were very good. The episode was good from start to finish. A few funny moments like Kim throwing her burnt toast in the street and as for Sonia, brilliant. Just brilliant. "And I hope she bites you" will go down in EastEnders history. :rotfl: This is the feisty Sonia I remember standing up to Pauline.
Some good performances from Les and Pam, raw emotion, you could feel it. Linda Marlowe as Sylvie is just perfect in everyway. And another normal duff duff. If this continues I think EastEnders is going to go from strength to strength, early days, we will see.
Again I loved the normality of this episode. Who says you need big storylines? What you do need are good scripts, with good acting and believable storylines, character driven and EastEnders this week is moving in the right direction.
I enjoyed the scenes with Jane and Lauren and a nice mention of Tania. The scenes again with Les and Pam were very good, Roger Sloman was excellent. I liked Sonia's low key exit and was pleased they didn't use the Julia Theme, with all the exits coming up I hope they only use it on a handful of occasions.
A shame we are losing Roger Sloman and Lin Blakley but in away with the storyline it would make sense for Les and Pam to move on to start afresh.
So why didnt Linda ask Les why he hated Babe? She cant be that thick that she hasnt clocked all the vile things she has done like selling babies etc and wanting to deal ganja from the pub or is her character really that dim? But then she is part of the how dare Sonja dump Tina who will look after thingy now crew.
The teenage cast need to be quietly led out of the back door and there security access to the set revoked, it would be kindest thing to do, manly for us the viewers sake.

Linda knows Babe was blackmailing Les I think
Lauren with Jane baffles me, taking to Whitney about Louis grandparents, hello you own dad Max  It is like the show wants us all to forget innocent Max what he was put through and now guilty Ryan already released
Why did Bex not give her mother a proper good bye, a big huge :thumbsdow
I like Martin and Stacey and also Coker scenes, Pam and Les will be a big loss, two very good actors
I thought Mick was more bearable tonight, I liked his face at the end, another good duff duff. I will be glad when Kyle leaves, his character has never really worked. I almost felt sorry for Bex, well almost, if she wasn't such a brat.
The Coker scenes were the highlight for me, I will miss Les and Pam when they depart. The scenes with Billy were very moving.
Kathy is a tart. It comes to something when Shirley has more morals than the knitting queen Kathy. Lou will be spinning in her grave. And finally I am getting a bit fed up with all this rhyming slang, every time the carters open their mouths. Pony .... pony ...... pony..... even Lee is starting to do it. :wall:
I think this epp was pony
*legs it from the wrath of FF*
*Im halfway to Timbuck Too now*
who is living in slater house now
Glad Linda finally said something to babe
