Betting is always a gamble (pun intended), and people were allowed to vote for anyone, not just the 14 suspects (and plenty of people did). Mick was another quite popular suspect who wasn't on the official list.

One site even allowed betting on the car lot's office chair (I think Lucy banged her head on it)... :ninja:

I just thought the way it was worded it had to be one of the 14. Like Emmerdale and Neighbours have done lists of suspects, and it has been one of them. So I can understand people complaining.
