Leanne going into witness protection, I wonder if she'll have the cheek to sell Nick's flat saying she'll need money to live on. And what about Simon and Peter or has she not thought of that?

He seems to have become a bit more of a caricature recently, with the silly voice way of talking, hand gestures and lack of sensitivity. It is almost as if he goes out of his way to upset Asha, instead of taking a step back and thinking before speaking to her.

I am not sure about this, but I think she would need to be in possession of the deeds, as proof of ownership before she could sell it. Certainly we were given deeds when we bought our freehold house, but it might be different for flats.

Yes, of course, she would need to prove she is the owner, otherwise people could just go round selling any old flats and houses and making a fortune before skipping off to the Cayman Islands.

Yes, I have always like Dev, but, as you say, lately he has become a bit of a caricature of himself and it is beginning to grate a bit.

Asha is difficult at times, but a lot of the time her behavior is in reaction to Dev's. I don't think she intended to to go back to Corey until Dev started laying down the law. Asha has been spoiled and seems to feel everything happening to her is unfair or unjust. I think she did have a moment of realization though, when speaking to Summer recently.

So Leanne, Nick & Simon are off to start up a new life without police support cutting themselves off from all ties with friends and family and with the usual soap allowance of belongings. I can't help thinking there might be some practical difficulties in this.....

Dear oh dear! Just what can you say about holding a confidential counselling session in a restaurant!!!? Are the Corrie scriptwriters for real?

Mind you, I do have to commend them for Tracy's line that Peter's either getting wed or dropping dead, either way he'll need flowers. The funniest line in Corrie for ages.
