What is happening to Emmerdale, it is becoming as bad as Eastenders. Why are the Dingles standing out in the cold protesting when the appeal has not been heard yet, nothing can happen until after that. I am a bit confused by the council involvement, if the golf club is a private development why are the council so involved surely their role would just be administrative. For a family that is always short of money, Lisa walks all the way to the cafe for food and drink when they are on their own doorstep and could just make it in their kitchen. I believe they filmed different versions with different killers ... why do I always get the impression that when they do that, the decision which version to use in the end is a last minute hash-up job ??
You have to admit it was well made though - more like a film than a soap. I think the writers are trying to compete with all the glossy dramas (Netflix, Sky Atlantic etc) that may have stolen their viewers in recent years...
