Poor ol' Carl getting blamed for something he didn't do..hope some smart cops take over the case.. cos it is really gonna be hard for them to pin it down on Carl with a few hairs and a hanky,,Will be iiinteresttttttting to seeeeeee how all of this UNFOLDS,, :thumbsup:
EXT. SINGH AND SON'S CONVIENANCE STORE - DAY
Mandy walks out of the store, carrying a few bags of shopping. She looks tried, worn out, and depressed. She begins to walk back to the b&b when Val runs up to her.
Val: Mandy! Mandy!
Mandy: (Weak) Alright Val, hows it going?
Val: Thank god your ok!
Mandy: Course I am... why wouldn't I be? It was only an affair...
Val: No...but your house is swarming with police so I feared for the worst...
Mandy: You what!?
Mandy drops her bags on the floor and runs past Val. Val looks concerned, and attempts to pick up the contents of Mandy's shopping bags.
Mandy runs around the corner and into Elmcroft Crescent, she sees half a dozen police cars parked in the crescent, and an ambulance. Two paramedics walk out of the house, carrying a covered up body on a stretcher. A look of absolute horror hits Mandy's face.
Mandy: Oh my god...:eek:
INT. RED RUM - DAY
Lorraine and James are sitting down in the Red Rum, having a drink, fresh from the crime scene at the Harvey/Kage house.
James: Shouldn't we be at the scene?
Lorraine: One of the perks of being high up in the service is that you can warrant a break whenever you need one... besides it's best to leave the CSI's too it.
James: So then, what do you reckon about it all?
Lorraine: Let's just say after Craig Harvey's reputation with the force...it just seems to close to home for him not to be involved...it happened in his house for christ's sake...I just know that man is guilty as sin...
James: Finally...it looks as tough we might be able to nail him for it... how good would it be to get Baymoore's number 1 crimelord behind bars?
Lorraine: Very... but we wont be able to without evidence... you know that house like the back of your hand... you know how Craig Harvey works... forget the CSI's...if you want a job doing...
James: What are you trying to say...
Lorraine: It's down to you and me James... we take the credit for bringing down Craig Harvey... but we need the evidence... the hard hitting evidence... and for that...I need you to go and search his house...
Uh-oh! I wonder who Mandy will blame when she discovers her mother has been murdered!!
James and Lorraine better tread carefully! Craig is a dangerous man!
EXT. HARVEY/KAGE HOUSE - NIGHT
Mandy barges past the group of policemen in a panic. She bends under the police tape and runs over to the paramadics.
Mandy: Who is it!? Whose died! Please...
The police rush towards Mandy and pull her back
PO: Sorry madame, but you can go past this tape, it's a crime scene...
Mandy: But it's my house! This is my family! Whose dead! You have to tell me! Please!
Before the police man man speak Leah and Craig walk out of the house. Leah is in floods of tears. Craig is comforting her, with a distressed look on her face. Madny see the pair and inevitably realises who is dead. She is so stunned that she cant even cry..
Mandy: But... but...that means... no....It Can't be...no....
PO: I'm sorry... but...
Leah runs over to Mandy and hugs her. Mandy steps away from her in disgust.
Leah: Mandy... it was soo awful...just so awfull...we walked in...and she was lying there....dead....mom's dead Mand!
Craig walks calmy over to the pair. Craig gives the police a look of contempt.
Craig: Leave them alone, yeah!?
The police move away and return to their cars.
Craig: Mandy...I don't know what to say...
Mandy: Don't bother wasting your breath... I just know you two are behind it...
Leah: Mand!? No! How could we!? She's my mom! Our mom!
Craig: We've been away all weekend... it wasn't us...
Mandy: Dya know what? I don't believe you...
Leah: Mand?
Mandy: You're gonna get what's coming to you... murdering scum...
Mandy shakes her head in disgust and walks off. Leaving Leah and Craig looking at each bemuzed.

INT. HARVEY/KAGE HOUSE - EVENING
James cautiously walks down the garden path, and bends under the police tape to enter the house. He checks to see if anyone is around, but all is silent. He flicks on a torch and starts to rumouge around the living room.
All of a sudden Craig appears out of the shadows.
Craig: What you doing sniffing around my gaff eh James?
James is shocked at Criag appearing and starts to stuter.
James: Er... Craig...I never knew you was in here...
Craig: Evidently... you shouldn't be here James... you have no right...
James: I'm the law... I have every right... come on Craig why dont you just confess... its obvious that you are behind this...
Craig: That's slander you know...
James: I don't give a damn, becuase it's the truth, I know... you know... everyone knows it... it's just a case of getting the evidence to cage you for the rest of your life...
Craig: You seem to know a lot about me James... well you should know that I don't like people interfing in things that don't concern them... if you dont clear off...and stay away then someone is gonna get hurt...
James: Are you threatening me!?
Craig: Call it a "friendly warning"
James: I'm not scared of you... you can't hurt me...
Craig: Maybe not...but you have a wife...and two kids... would be a shame if anything happened to them wouldnt it?
In an immediate rate James curses Craig and attempts to hit him. Craig holds James arm.
Craig: Careful James...you don't want to go upsetting me now do you!?
Craig drags James out of the house and pushes him out onto the street.
James: No way will you threaten my family Craig! I'm gonna make you suffer!
James walks off as Craig lights a cigar. He stares at James, with a sinister look on his face.
Craig: Not if I make you suffer first...
Come on James - youre a copper! Don't let him get the better of you!!!
INT. PAIGNTON POLICE STATION - MORNING
James walks into Lorraine's office. She is finishing a phonecall.
Lorraine: Not to worry Sir... I'll get on to it by the end of the day...ok...bye...
Lorraine is pleased to see James, she gestures for him to sit down.
Lorraine: James... nice of you to pop in...
James: I just popped in to tell you about Craig
Lorraine leans forward, intriged as to what he has to say. James finds it hard to focus his attentions away from her low cut top.
Lorraine: Really? Any progress?
James: Not exactly... he was there when I went to look...
Lorraine: Jesus! What did he do!?
James: Let's just say he wasn't best too pleased...He even threatend to hurt Val and the girls...
Lorraine: You're kidding me right!? We can have him up for that!
James: No Lorrianne...I can't let it happen... I can't risk the safety of my family...
Lorraine: But you can't let him get away with threatening you all like that... he's scum...and the sooner he's off the streets the better!
James: I might not get on with them all the time...but I do love them... and if anything happened to them...
Lorraine looks slightly disapointed at his declaration of love for Val.
Lorraine: Threatning you is the last mistake that man is going to make...I'm going to up the gears... get a confession out of him...
James: Yeah? And how are you going to do that... he's too clever to confess to any of us...
Lorraine: Simple...I'm going to bug his garage...trust me James... by the end of the week we'll have that ******* behind bars...
Ooo - will they manage to catch him out and get him on tape confessing :hmm:
