Do the side effects start immediately? I would have thought it would be at least 5 minutes before they occur, giving time to take it, and dispose of the packaging before entering the house. Especially if you are trying to keep it secret, it also makes it easier to be caught out, if you put the package in the top of your kitchen rubbish bin. Or you could burn it in the sink and flush away the ashes.

I agree with all that. I can understand why Cain hit Jimmy after being provoked, but not Ruby.

All the more reason why he should have considered Ruby having a one night stand with someone else, they have not exactly been faithful to each other during their marriage.

Everything about that day was too contrived, I cannot see that Jimmy would normally be that brave or stupid to get in Cain's face like that. When he was getting in Cain's face he should have seen what was about to happen. We all did.

He has done nothing else but be in everybody's face over Tom... glad he got properly smacked.. not normally advocate violence but in this instant I can understand it

Those rocks in Emmerdale are really vicious. Is this another case of "Death by Rock "
