WOW! :cheer: well done
Yesterday I went to wolverhampton uni open day, it was ok, I dont think I'll be going there, but its made be realise how much I miss living in a proper city and being next to everything. I just wanna go back to living in a city :D
Then I had work, so after a day of being on my feet all day I just collasped on my bed and went to sleep
It is Rememberance Sunday today, I always get so emotional thinking of all the poor people and animals that have died. :crying:
Congrats on your 14,000 post
I know there should be someone I can talk to about it... I jsut don't feel liek there is. It sounds stupid, but at home I'd jsut get shouted at more and school don't really want to know if I'm honest.
I jsut went downstairs and my Nan was on about me doing housework again so I said to her "well shouldn't you be shouting at me to do school work instead?" whcih then set her off and apparently school work is always my excuse to not do housework and that "I do my school work anyways"...shows how much she knows, she doesn't have a clue at how much I'm struggling but as long as her housework gets done she's not bothered :( :( :(
Perhaps your Nan is not coping so well with the housework at the moment herself, that is why she might be having a go at you all the time. I am no longer at school but working full time and doing all the housework by myself and cooking and washing is quite a struggle at times. Perhaps you could talk to your Nan about agreeing on who does what and when, that might ease the tension.
thanks :)
will your english lit teacher not help you if you tell them how much youre struggling? i think maybe you need to sit down and have a chat with your nan about it so she knows how stressed you are, maybe shes only asking you to do the housework cos she thinks you have spare time, if she knew how much work you had she might stop asking so muchQuote:

Pretty boring day. Got up late, done some washing and cleaned my bathroom. Got some notes to type up for a friend. It's freezing here :(
Can't wait for later on tonight when my flatmates come back, I've been on my own since Friday afternoon. It's nice to have a bit of peace and quiet but its been a bit too quiet. The guy in the room directly below mine decided to have a rave at 3am Saturday morning
Hope he does not do this too often, not good if you are trying to get some sleep, especially if you are not feeling well.
If you can afford it, go for ensuite. It costs a lot more than standard accommodation but you have a more privacy and you don't have to share a toilet and shower with up to 12 people. Plus, ensuite accommodation is usually smaller, mixed sex flats whereas shared facilities are all single sex with up to 12 people.
i think it depends where you go on what the accomodation is like. when i looked around liverpool there was about 40 people sharing 3 showers and they were disgusting and it was single sex accomodation, but in my first year i had standard accomodation as the ensuite was over £1000 more expensive and we had 2 toilets and 1 shower between 5 of us and it was mixed sex accomodation (although you could opt for single sex if you wanted), the ensuite accomodation had 8 people sharing but their kitchen was bigger than ours
Nope, because we're ensuite we have to do our own bathrooms. They just clean the kitchen and corridors. Well, they're supposed to, our kitchen has only been cleaned properly once since we've been here. If you leave dishes to dry and the cleaner comes in, she'll walk straight out and not bother cleaning  She nicked our trolley too and the broken chair. We got the trolley back but the chair was thrown in the skip.
We don't have a cleaner at all. Which is annoying. We tend to spend a Sunday afternoon cleaning the kitchen listening to the chart show on Radio 1.
I just ordered Enchanted from play.com, yay! :cheer: it was only £4.99, its really made my day :D
I just picked my coldsore, now it's bleeding loads!
Horrible day, thunder. Ew.
Hoping the dog will come back tonight :D
I let him stay over last night. I had to stay downstairs with him though. He laid on me all night  But let him out in the morning.
Ooo I love enchanted. I watch it all the time! So addictive ! Quite annoyed I didn't wait though! I paid something like 12.99 for mine lol!
Cant wait till it gets here, Play can be slow but at least its free delivery :p
oh right. here the cleaner cleans your bathroom if you have ensuite, although people i know who had ensuite in our first year said it was annoying cos they would wake you up at 8am! the cleaner in our house was like that with our kitchen too, always complained if there was anything at all out on the side! then we got a new cleaner who was really nice so that was good. i miss not having a cleaner now cos one of my housemates is so messy and its only a few of us who ever bother cleaning the kitchen
really need to finish my essay, written about a third of it but im just so unmotivated! im not worried cos i know ill get it done but ive just been sitting here for hours wasting time!
Been to see my nana for a few hours as she not feeling too good today she was feeling light headed and fainted I hope she is feeling better tomorrow..
I hope your nana starts to feel better tomorrow Pinkles
My weekends been alright - went to a memorial service type thing today as my Scout leader's ashes were scattered. It was so sad. I wrote in his diary though as people could write comments in there for him.
ive given up writing my essay for today, gonna have to get up early and finish it tomorrow! spent my evening watching japanese gameshows on youtube, some of them are mental!
My essay writing is about as good as yours DiMarco. I just have no motivation. Really need to do it today though!
got to try and sort my student loan out as i i still have no money. Its getting a joke now.
Not a very good day. I had a free first and managed to write about a paragraph and annotate less than a page of a book, lol. Third my teacher wasn't in so we all saw, "no cover required" with no other instructions on the desk and thought we had a free. Got home though and checked my school email acount while I needed to get a task sheet and there's an email with work in it on there; unpleasant surprise lol! It was really slippery in the building on the way to the lesson anyway as the floor is tiled and I slipped over in front of everyone :( Almost slipped over a second time as well, it was really embarrassing.
Business teacher changed the groups around for the grouped part of the assignment, which is really annoying as it's meant to be in accordance with how much work they've done so others can't use your research. Two problems; I'm now with one of the girls I really don't want in my core group, and half of them have got like E's and U's for coursework; they either start using my research or I start losing marks for not having any group work for the assignment
I have left the conclusion for my biology coursework for...now. Smart move.
Is that the one you took to Poland that you had to write like 30 pages for? How long will it take you to do?
I have a boring "Friday afternoon" Economics essay that I couldn't be bothered to do. The exam questions aren't in the structure we've been forced to use so I don't see the point. Needs to be done by first lesson tomorrow; I think I'm doing it when I get up and when I get to school before lesson.
Well not much today, I had a hair but :p college was average
I've done that before with history. :p
Yeah it is the 30 mark one. I've done so much on statistics, so I left the conclusion until now. I wanted to do some in college today but the network went down which was a bit annoying so I couldn't. It'll probably take me about 2 or 3 hours if I work solidly. (HAH! :p ) It took me 4 hours complete my whole physics plan if I remember and that was worth 10 marks. (although an hour of it was sorting out the graphs and text that had moved ooh dear..) I have a late start on Tuesdays but I have orthodontist tomorrow so I have to do it all tonight. I was hoping to do a bit in college tomorrow but because the ortho is halfway across London it takes an hour to get there I can't! I'm going to get back to college just in time for my 2pm lesson lol.
I would just not bother going in then get it done for Wednesday haha. What time does your college finish? We finish at 3.
I wish! The deadline is tomorrow and she refused to extend it. Because some of the class wound her up by constantly asking her she's hasn't budged on her decision. Idiots. But yeah...I'm going to hand it in because otherwise she won't accept and before the exams next year we can improve one piece of coursework from each unit, and if this one turns out bad I'll choose this one to improve! :p
The latest we finish college is 4.30 but I only have late finishes on Monday and Tuesday. Although Mondays I tend to go to the gym. So I get back around 6-7 depending on how long I spend there.
That's one from each type of Science I take it? How many pieces of coursework do you actually get?
Coursework is annoying. If I don't have 27/27 for Business now I'll eat my Christmas cracker hat! It took me ages just to do the work for the 4 marks I lost for not doing some of the documents I was meant to have analysed before half term. I'd rather have coursework than exams though.
Yeah me too. Even if I do leave it quite late sometimes!
I do double applied science which is 70% coursework. Fun times. At the moment I have the ongoing physics (until Feb), Biology, and two chemistry ones - 3 & 9 marks. And I'm getting another biology one on Friday, although that's only 9 marks. And it's on Wetlands so it is similar to the pond coursework. I'm just so glad we are not visiting the sewage works!! The coursework tends to pile up if you leave it too long but its not been too bad so far. I remember last year being so annoyed at them because they gave us about 6 coursework's to do in the last few weeks of term and it gave me only two weeks to revise for the AS's. They don't seem to communicate with each other though, so you can go a couple of weeks without one and then get three at the same time which similar deadlines..hmm. I'm not sure how many we get altogether. I shall have to check that sometime.
 You didn't do badly after only having two weeks to revise! Teachers seem to like that; last year they were lecturing us asking us how much revision we'd done for GCSEs and we were like, "How are we meant to revise with piles of homework to do?"
Tell me about it. One of my Business teachers knows me from GCSE and she's always asking me how the class were in the other teacher's lesson instead of asking her lol!
They do trips to the sewage works?
My teacher was like "It would be FUN!" Since when has a sewage treatment works ever been fun. :rotfl: Apparently its huge it treats waste from Heathrow and near us.
That sounds about as enthralling as when we had to go around the school in Year 9 and compare the 'wear and tear' on all the flights of stairs lol!
I could describe the sewage works as something beginning with f, the only problem being that it has two words, the second of which is 'disgusting!' :rotfl:
Wear and tear. :rotfl: Yeah my biology teacher is one of those people who is really really into science.
