A zillion million apologies for all the readers I haven't posted for nearly a month I'm really sorry and hope you'll carry on reading and thanks for the replies
An hour later Noah King left Walford Police station a free man and his wife stood outside waiting for him
Noah- you did good
Kerrie grinned- I know
He kissed her
Kerrie- dad’s headed home I don’t think he’s best pleased
Noah- we better start grovelling then
Kerrie snuggled into her husband’s arms as they made their way home
Chrissie placed her daughter down to sleep in her cot she seemed just as pleased to be home as her mother as she watched her little girl drift off
Jake watched them from the doorway pleased he’d finally got her back
Chrissie felt him watching her and turned to face him
Chrissie- she’s asleep
Jake- good
She walked over to him and he wrapped his arms around her
Chrissie smiled, she was happier than she’d been in a long time and nothing was going to ruin it
Sharon- we’re going to be late Dennis and it’s the first appointment I want to make a good impression
Dennis- all right I’m ready but is this suit really necessary
Sharon- yes first impressions are everything
Dennis- ok you win let’s go
Sharon- and remember not a word to anyone not even Dot
Dennis- cross my heart
He kissed Sharon and they left the flat
Kerrie and Noah knocked on the door to number five and Tina opened the door looking tanned
Tina- come in your dad said you’d pop over is everything sorted
Kerrie- yes thanks is he mad with me
Johnny- yes but it will pass
Kerrie ran into her dad’s arms and hugged him
Kerrie- have you seen Ruby
Johnny- we’re on our way over now, how did it go
Noah- all charges dropped
Johnny- good I say that calls for a drink in the Vic we’ll pick up Ruby on the way over
The four of them left the house and headed over to the Slater’s and as they did a familiar face watched them from shadows

Kerrie turned her head to the Square as they entered the pub she had a feeling of being watched and she didn’t like it
Johnny bought the drinks whilst Tina filled in the gossips about her honeymoon
Jake and Chrissie were behind the bar as if the last few days hadn’t even happened
Johnny- Jake
Jake- welcome back boss I was just about to head down to the club
Johnny- I think I’ll join you come on and you can fill me in on the last couple of weeks
Jake- Chrissie I’m off to Scarlet’s I’ll be back later
Chrissie nodded and smiled as Jake kissed her gently
Jake- and take things easy
Chrissie- I will I promise
Jake and Johnny left
Kerrie- Rubes do you want a drink
Ruby- why are you buying
Kerrie- well I’m offering so I guess I’m buying

Sharon- it went ok I think I hope but it’s gonna cost a hell of a lot

Dennis wrapped his arms around her as they entered the crowded pub

He kissed the top of her head and they made their way to the bar
The doors behind the couple opened and a young woman walked in
Kerrie wrapped her arms around Noah and kissed him as he swung her around in his arms and as she glanced over her husband’s shoulder her blood ran cold as she caught sight of the familiar face
Pulling away from Noah their eyes locked and Kerrie stepped towards her
Louise- hello Kerrie it’s been a while hasn’t it
uh-oh uh-oh uh-oh... isn't louise the one will was sleeping with and Kerrie paid a doc to say she was basically a wacko??????

Noah grabbed Kerrie and Louise wiped the blood from her mouth
Noah- home now
Dragging his wife from the pub Louise smiled and ordered herself a large drink
Noah- what the hell was that all about?
Kerrie- work it out that’s Louise Phelps the two bit tart who had an affair with Will
Noah- the one you had sectioned
Kerrie nodded
Noah- Jesus Kerrie
Kerrie- I know I know it isn’t good but she can’t prove anything

Chrissie made her way up the stairs wearily a couple of hours on her feet and she was whacked out pregnancy definitely had an ill effect on her bodily functions, slumping onto the sofa she slowly closed her eyes thankful of five minutes piece and quiet but it wasn’t to last long when the piercing screams of her young daughter brought her abruptly from her thoughts
Chrissie made her way to her daughter and picked her up it was hard enough with one baby how was she going to cope with three
Chrissie smiled, looks like Jake was going be up a lot in the night because one thing was for sure this landlady needed her beauty sleep

When Kerrie opened her eyes the next morning reality hit her Louise was back in town and she meant business
Turning over she noticed Noah had already gone they’d argued furiously last night
Kerrie pulled herself out of bed and made her way to the window as she looked out onto the Square she noticed her watching the house
Despite fuming to herself Kerrie knew she needed to keep a lid on her anger she’d got rid of Louise Phelps once she’d certainly do it again
Jake- I hear I missed quite a show last night
Chrissie- you certainly did Kerrie went mental at the poor woman
Jake- well if I know Kerrie they’ll be more to come
He grinned and kissed Chrissie before turning to walk out
Jake- I shouldn’t be too long I just need to go over the books with Johnny
Chrissie- ok remember hospital appointment at three so you can’t be late
Jake- wouldn’t miss it for the world
Chrissie snorted and buttered herself some more toast
Dennis stared at his fiancé as she desperately tried to finalise their plans for the wedding, the pressures were definitely getting to her and with the added worry of the results if this failed he wasn’t sure how she’d take it but he knew that they’d try again
Sharon- that was the registry office
Dennis- what did they want
Sharon- they’ve had a cancellation and they knew we wanted the wedding to be sooner well I agreed
Dennis- agreed when for

Story is a bit up and down since both Chrissie and Dennis have disappeared off screen but I hope you enjoy anyway
That night as people gathered in the pub and giggly and secretive Dennis and Sharon decided to reveal their little secret
Dennis- me and Sharon have some news...
There was a pause
Jake- come on then don’t keep us waiting
Sharon- today we got married
There was a stunned gasp then everyone cheered and soon a party was starting
Kerrie watched from her window and people stayed at the pub partying she couldn’t have asked for a better way to keep everyone out of the Square
Noah had gone over ages ago they still hadn’t spoken properly since their argument last night he was stubborn ass when he wanted to be
Reaching for the gun resting on her bed side table she made her way down the stairs and out in the Square she’d had Louise tracked all day and knew exactly where she’d be
Chrissie and Jake smiled as they watched the happy couple
Chrissie- I wish we could marry
Jake- one day angel one day I promise
He kissed her lightly on her forehead and carried on serving the many punters
Kerrie knocked on the door to a dingy looking flat and Louise opened the surprise on her face was soon replaced with fear when she saw what Kerrie was holding

Kerrie raised the gun and pointed it at her rival’s head

Kerrie wiped the tears from her eyes and dropped the gun to the floor and ran out, she felt sick, she couldn’t do it, she couldn’t kill her
Running back home Kerrie rushed to the bathroom and threw up
Meanwhile over at Louise’s flat she smiled menaceingly
Louise- oh Kerrie you just haven’t got the stomach for murder have you but if you can’t I will
Picking up the gun she tossed it over into nearby bin she was gonna make it slow and painful after all it was the least she deserved
Kerrie composed herself and made her way across the Square to the party
Noah noticed her the minute she walked in and his first thoughts of anger changed to worry he’d seen that look on her face before and he knew something wasn’t right
Noah pushed through the crowd and took his wife’s hands they were freezing cold
Noah- Hun are you ok
She looked at him and nodded
Noah- let’s go home come on
Taking his pregnant wife more firmly this time he led her out of the pub and home
Noah- what happened
Kerrie- nothing everything is fine now
Three Months past with a blur as Kerrie tried to put Louise and that night firmly behind her
Now as she lay in hospital cradling her newborn daughter she knew she’d made the right decision
Kerrie didn’t want to bring up her baby with a murder hanging over her
Noah- you did brilliantly sweetheart
Kerrie- thanks she’s beautiful isn’t she
Noah- she sure is Evie Grace King has a nice ring to it
Kerrie- I know it does I chose it remember
Noah- and here was me thinking it was a joint decision
Kerrie- no I came up with the names honey and you just agreed
Noah- so I helped make the decision

Louise- I can’t stop…just say an old friend dropped by with my deepest sympathies
Nurse nodded not quite understanding the strange message
She took the flowers over to where Noah, Kerrie and little baby Evie were
Nurse- lilies for you Mrs King
Kerrie- lilies
Noah- lilies are a funeral flower
Nurse- I thought they were a strange chioce as well, they don’t just signify death though they are also a symbol of bad luck
Noah- that’s just as bad who sent them
Nurse- a woman she said she was an old friend and she said something about sending her deepest sympathies
Kerrie- give them here
Kerrie took the flowers and picked out the card and read it
The colour drained from her face
Noah- what is it
He took the card and read the message aloud
Noah- Tick Tock Kerrie your time is up
Kerrie- it’s just someone’s idea of a joke
Noah- no this is serious who sent it
Kerrie- Louise I put money on it
