bought "songs of the humpback whale" by jodi picoult today. i was waiting for it to come out in paperback but in this shop in town they were selling it in hardback for £3 down from £17 so i bought it! :eek:
All right it's not the story that is sad but when you read what Anna's thoughts are I have a lump in my throat.
I really want to read my harry potter ones again but I dont know I sort of love the 7th too much to want to read the others
I still need a new book! :(
I got My Sister's Keeper, i got it yesterday and so far i'm really enjoying it but people are saying they've cried while reading it so i'm waiting for the tears to come.
I am reading The pillar of the earth by Ken Follett
It is suppose to be one of the top 10 best seller, good so far but I am told it is an amazing read once you get further into the book...
I am reading 1984 by George Orwell at the moment...
I did cry at the end of the book i knew i would =(. And yeah same but it was such an unexpected twist i was like what :eek: .
Now i'm reading New Moon so i can remember what happend when i go to see the movie but i can't seem to read all the way through it probably cause i know what happens. :(
It was the revelation in the court room that got to me Tannie. I'm now halfway through Angels and Demons then I may have a wander round Waterstone's for The Lovley bones.
What people told me is true.. this is an amazing read. .still not finished but I love it.. i has everything in it.. someone you can admire and look up to.. a villian you want to shout at.. it is the best book I have read in ages.. recommend it to anyone now!! Can't believe I wait 2 years to read this!!
On holiday I read Rumour has it which I loved :D

im reading Paula Spencer, by Roddy Doyle, the sequel to The Woman who walked into doors which i also read a while back., Its good.
Need something for after though.
yeah my dad told me that she played her in the tv adaption. Its good getting into it now, starts 10 years after the woman who walks into doors so the kids are grown up.
I'm dying to read the time travellers wife so think i may buy it off amazon.
Reading my Sister's Keeper again cause i love the book. Was reading New Moon but for some really strange reason i can't seem to read it possibly because i know what happens and i just don't like it :(

Not finished it yet but its just as good as her other books
I'm reading The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo by Steig Larsson (sp?). Brilliantly written and interesting, I'd recommend it to anyone even though I'm only 200 pages in.
Stieg Larsson: Millenium trilogy. Awesome!!

Its sooo sad and the ending really shocked me! :( although thats good cos I though it would be something really predictable

Yeah I know I am like 20 years behind everyone else but I have only started to read Harry Potter books (got a deal, all 7 books in a presentation box for 30 euro) .. and I love them.. Can't wait for Charley to start reading them...
im reading twillight, ive saw the movie but the book is more detailed
I am also reading Twilight, it is so different to the movie and makes the movie look terrible. Twilight the book is so much better than the Film.
im looking forward to new moon coming out but im not sure whether to read the book before the movire or after lol
Quick question..is 8 years old to young to read harry potter? My daughter Charley just turned 8 but she reads at an age 12 level (she is currently reading the grimms fairytale book), Is Potter to dark for her to read at this age?
