Like today! There is no breeze or anything. I have my fan on and I am still boiling.:wall:
Hayfever.. oh god.. don't remind me!! Can't bear it and it's worse at school!! I like the heat but I always prefer thw cold winter :D
Same there Spicy! It feels like being in a prision once the hayfever kicks in:(
I had hayfever for the first time last night, and hope I don't get it again. Bumble bees and wasps are really annoying me as I am scared witless of them and my exema is so itchy :(
You poor thing, with exema too! :(
i really love the heat, its been lovely in my mates swimming pool today.
I just fancy jumping in the sea but it's 2 hours away:( I'm now fed up as my computer is getting hot. Having a barbecue later though:)Quote:

Great fun till he went to open his eyes this morning when he woke up and couldn't! His eyes are bloodshot, lovely grim stuff pouring out of them and the whites are swollen. Antihistamines have been poured down his throat and his anti allergy eye drops put in, and so far to no avail so hes sitting on the sofa trying to see through a damp cloth!
Middley - his excema has gone mad - itching all over. Is having a nosebleed every 3 hours (which at 4 is scaring him slightly). His eyes are swollen and he isn't a happy bunny.
Have you tried keeping two children out of the back garden and away from the pollen?! No chance.
Me - eyes are swollen and itchy, throat is sore, roof of mouth is itching like mad (though the beer I just had helped immensely :D ) nose is blocked, and nothing (nasal spray, eye drops, antihistamines) are working, but then I've had it for 25 years, so don't expect it to change any time soon.
Babs - he's itching and has had excema patches appear on his legs and in his creases.
And I refuse to have my windows closed. Our house is 29 deg at the moment, with the windows open, so I dread to think what it would be with them closed. We have fans going, and there is even a breeze outside, but all thats doing is blowing the darn pollen indoors.....
I wanted to go outside and sun bathe, but you have no chance when hubby has to go back to work and the nosey next door neighbour is peering (or is that leering) over the back fence "trying" to make conversation with me.
I love the heat, love it out side, but love being able to see too, and if I go out in the sun, I end up with my eyes closed over....
Ahhh, don't you just love the summer!! :rotfl:
hehe i feel sorry for you guys with hayfever sounds like you're sufferiing badly, im actually looking forward to school tomorow im blaming it on this weather puts me in a better mood :D
awwww ewwww what can i say lol thats horrible i wouldnt like to be in his position! hehe ems you're familys having a rough summer isnt it!Quote:

lol - its always like this in the ems household unfortunately. The only lucky one is my hubby who doesnt suffer. At least this year I can take meds though as last year, because I was pregnant, I couldn't take anything at all!Quote:

Im loving this heat, its great and im getting tanned
i have to say i loved it at the start of the week but now i am sticky all the time. i'm not suffering with anything (luckily!) but the heat isn't fresh and i can feel it
I loved the heat at first, but itsdoing my head in now.My hayfevers kicked in, my eyes are constantly bloodshot andwatering and I keep sneezing which is quite funny lol. I'm really sticky all the time though, and its so annoying, especially at school.
i am not knocking the nice weather but it is a bit hot!! i have been stuck in the house all day as it is far to hot to let niamh out, as she is blonde and fair skinned she would burn in a flash!!! i just look forward to getting to work as we have great air con!!!!!!
Oh my god Ems!! Feel sorry for your house today!! ha!
I don't mind the heat to an extent, today hasn't been that hot here, and got quite cloudy towards the end of the day, and now it's just so muggy/close/stuffy, which is what I hate, the stuffyness.
I was in Majorca last week and it was boiling, i got a nice tan and everything, and i thought that when i got back here it would be a tad cooler, but no! i hate it!
I quite like it when I don't get affected by it and I am not at school having to wear trousers as appose to a skirt or dress. It's been 25 degrees since Friday, apart from today when it was 27.
I didn't have a plaster on at school today and had to wear my jumper all the time I was at school (luckily only a half day) because the girl that shut my finger in the door is in almost all of my lessons and I didn't want her to see it, so I had to cover it up with the jumper. Not a great combination when it's 27 degrees :( Was boiling by 12.
It's aroound 30 deg... science teacher tried to refuse to let us open the windows because we were so called noise but we opened it anyways!! My P.E teacher let me wear my sunglasses for P.E so P.E was enjoyable!! Nothing bad yet (touch wood).
its boiling, went out to get con some short pyjamas and wish i hadnt! it far too hot out there! and it is boiling in my flat, i got all doors and windows open and there still aint no air
You can have all our air over here Debs... the weather has changed today.. was fantastic all week but today there is a cold wind blowingQuote:

its so boiling today, the exam room was so hot even though all the windows were open, it made concentrating really difficult! walking back home afterwards was even worse, luckily i only live round the corner so only takes me about 5mins but by the time i got home i just wanted to collapse lol!
is that your eczema? i used to keep mine covered up even when it was hot after some boy when i was in year 2 made fun of me about it, but it makes it worse keeping it under a jumper, so now i just wear my short sleeved shirt and if people comment about it then its them that has the problem not me, im not going to boil just cos of what someone thinks, im beyond caring anymoreQuote:

:( whers the sun gone, well at least its still quite warm.
I'm missing it, I'm badly affected by exema with or without it in this heat.
