Aww, days out can be just as nice and lakes sound great. Hope the weather improves a lot though. I am sure you will have some fun. :)

I never really had any holidays grown up as a kid, my parent just took us on day trips when they could and we had the best time... Technically I am not really having holiday still as I am visiting the kids grandparents (they just happen to live in Germany)Quote:

I am so looking forward to heading back to see my family and friends for a little while - get away from the stresses and strains of work :(
Everyone's really friendly there, compared to Britain! :p I also love the style of bikes - so comfy! :D was there last summer on a Rotary Camp in Frederikssund, but I've been to Copenhagen before. My Dad's ex-wife still lives there so there's always someone to stay with if we want to go. :)

I have been there once years ago and loved it. The food was great, got to tour the island and I remember staying at a place called Hotel Bergerac where they had the car from the show Bergerac in the foyer!Quote:
