Chrissie was sitting on the bed thinking about what had happened between her and Alfie. Why did she do it? She didn't even understand it herself. Jake walked into the room.
"Hey." He said with a smile.
"Hi." She said, almost in a whisper.
"Are you alright?"
She shrugged.
"We should have a party. To cheer you up."
"What?"
"Why not? You deserve a good night."
"Ok then."
"I'll ask Johnny if we could have it at the club."
He sat down beside her and put his arm around her.
"Y'know, it will get better. I'm telling you, it will." He said softly.
She smiled and kissed him.

Jake tapped on the bedroom door. He opened it and leant against the doorframe.
"Are you ready?" He asked.
"Almost." She said, reaching for her necklace.
She fiddled with it behind her neck.
"Here." He said, walking over and fastening it.
She smiled a 'thanks' in the mirror at him. She stood up.
"What do you think?" She said.
He blinked.
"What, don't you like it?"
"No. It's just... wow."
He looked again at her.
"You look amazing."
"Thankyou."
"Come on. We don't want to miss the party, do we?"
He took her hand and lead her out of the room.

Aww Chrissie isn't pregnant :( But i suppose its all for the best so yay!! And this way it won't be Alfie's baby!

I'm not tricking. I know it sounds silly coming from me but I'll post more when I feel like it. I'll probably feel like writing some next week when I have nothing to do :rolleyes: Hmph! My life is pretty boring!

Jake walked into Johnny's office. Chrissie was sitting on the edge of the desk.
"Hey." She said with a smile.
"What are you doing in here? There's a party out there, just waiting for you to join it." He said, walking over to her.
"I've just been thinking."
"About what?"
She sighed.
"Whether leaving Den without telling him was a good idea."
"It was the right decision. You could've ended up.." He hesitated. "And I'd never forgive myself for that. And I promise you that I won't let anyone hurt you. Ever. And if he comes near you I'll kill him."
"Thankyou." She paused. "There was something else I've been thinking about."
"What's that?"
"I was wondering.." She touched his arm. "I was wondering if you wanted to try for a baby."
"I'd love to." He said, linking his fingers with hers.
"Do you want to, you know?"
"What, now?"
She shrugged.
"Maybe. If you want to."
"Ok." He said, pushing the pots of pens and folders off of the desk.
She patted the space next to her. He sat down. She kissed him and pressed his body down onto the wooden surface.

Jake buttoned his shirt. He watched Chrissie touch up on her makeup.
"You're beautiful just the way you are." He grinned.
She reached for her lipstick but put it back. She faced him and smiled. Her smile soon faded when she spotted something out of the corner of her eye. She gasped and put her hand over her mouth.
"What? What is it?" Jake asked.
She pointed. He looked. A camera was staring at them.
"Oh my god." He whispered.
She giggled, embarassed.
"Well Johnny's definately got something to watch now." He said, with a shy smile.

Chrissie and Jake were sitting at the bar, his arm slung loosely around her waist, her hands on his knees. Every now and then he'd grab her for a quick kiss or whisper something in her ear. She'd just smile and sip her champagne. She felt so special, maybe it was the first time she'd felt loved. She didn't know what it was, but she knew that she wanted to stay like this forever.

Alfie walked into the club. He noticed Chrissie and Jake. She glanced over. He left, not wanting to cause any trouble.

"I need some fresh air. Do you mind?" She asked Jake.
"No, no. You go." He said and pulled her into his arms and kissed her passionately.
She smiled.
"I'll be back in a bit."
