I pop in here sometimes and often wonder why some of the storylines are not being discussed, last night with Charity and the jewellery for instance. I just stumbled on it in the Robert and Aaron Spoiler thread.
I wonder how much other Current Episode Discussion I miss as it is buried in other threads.

Does the Whites have any proper security at Home Farm?
A lot of the posts for Emmerdale, Snagglepus tend to be more character/topic specific ,for instance the Ashley /Laurel,and Rhona storyline. Don't think this is a bad thing they're important topics in their own right and deserve the attention they get rather than perhaps being lost in other general stuff . For me Emmerdale seems to have a lot of dross mixed in with good stuff. Last night I thought the Charity and Frank so called diamond con was too pathetic for words. mainly because Charity's con artist routine is wearing a bit thin. Surely even in Soap World someone would think , seems like the offenders have local knowledge ,who might the description fit locally , who would know when and how long Homefarm was empty, who might have a key, and finally everyone at Homefarm knows Frank has previous as a con artist.:)Quote:

I know they twisted the story that Emma torched the car not Finn, but the very fact Finn didnt really blink when he realised it was Emma that did it was significant, I mean he in a sober state broke into a persons house and defiled it out of spite and jealousy.
TBH from real life experience the Police wouldnt want to get involved, straight in the books as a domestic with no human harm caused they would be off to eat their donuts.
With the police not prosecuting and no signs of breaking in on the car the result will be a huge NO from the insurance company and no further action from the Police.

I really miss Betty and Edna and used to love the scenes with the two of them with Pearl. Emmerdale gold. I think Emmerdale need to make better use of the talents of Meg Johnson.
